I love my Blitzen II (earlier version). Great for rain or just a little snow. Used to wear them ALL the time as Slippers until fuzz got packed down (then put in a thin Spenco liner & great). Last Winter I wanted to replace ORIGINALS, but sent back as THE SHOE had changed: It was a little shorter and front shape didn't allow my toes the space they needed. So......I also tried the Crocs Mammoth Luxe in sheepskin, but needed next size smaller and the Crocs were REMOVED (I bought the last pair). Tried one size smaller in "Newer" Luxe (Fuzz): But the liner was GLUED in and seams were hard & bumpy. This Blitzen III is GOOD (it is 1 size larger than my earlier version: II). I will order 1 more in case I received a "less than perfect sewing job". The little strap with SNAP is NOW made of HEAVY vinyl. It is attached to 2 seams of liner and was actually PRESSING in on Croc (and my side of my instep). IF.....the next pair is the same: I will simple cut the stitches; and re-attach to upper seam. I could ALSO soften and RE-mold the Croc ONCE I have decided to keep them. The earlier "Blitzen ll" has a SOFT piece of fabric with Snap. IT is put THROUGH the liner (goes righ to Outside) and didn't need to be sewn in 2 places. O.K. I know - just a detail.....BUT not when it digs in!!!!! My feet are bony - so YOU might not even notice it!!!! It didn't notice this when I ordered a pair that was too small last winter.

I wanted these as slippers and I always have good luck with crocs. These are cushy and comfy BUT there are no air holes and your foot will get very sweaty and I imagine will get pretty stinky quickly. The lining does detach and can be washed, though. I am toying with the idea of taking the drill and a larger bit to drill air holes in the top of the shoe. This shoe would be waterproof in shallow puddles or in a light dusting of snow. I tried on without socks and shoe fit nicely. I have wide feet and it felt fine.

I love my Classic Blitzen Clogs. They fit well, are warm and comfortable. I wear them around the house like slippers, but can run outside to get mail and keep my feet dry. I would highly recommend them.

A bit right but overall good value. Definitely slip resistent. I have a wide foot, so it feel tight. I hope there will be a breaking in period.

Hi, I'm usually a 9.5 but because this shoe doesn't come in half sizes, I followed the advice in the other reviews and went down a half size to a 9. It is *just* ok, but it's a pretty tight fit. I'm hoping that as I wear them more, the fluffy insert will flatten and give me a bit more room. For those who are curious, it's not so nice-looking when you take out the fluffy insert, so it's not really an option to wear it without the insert. I'm heading to a cold and rainy region in Asia, so this is a good, affordable, lightweight waterproof shoe. In *really* heavy rain, I may try to wear it without the insert anyway, as I'm afraid that if the insert gets wet it might take too long to dry!
