This review is quite detailed because that's what would help me in the decision process. Headline: Best laptop travel briefcase I've found in years. Could benefit from very minor improvement. I bought this briefcase through my local Timbuk2 retailer where i could inspect and play with it. I do a lot of professional international travel. I need a robust, comfortable bag that will accommodate my 13" MacBook Air, some papers, charger, cords, business cards, pens and a book or journal. It needs to fit under an economy seat with room for my feet. I'm impatient, so access and easy to carry are fundamental. I also commute to my office by bike. This bag is nearly the most perfect briefcase i've found in years. Here's why, and below I have some recommendations. I love: 1. Small but deep. Compact, but holds what i need for a 7 day international trip. 2. The sleeve on the back that goes over a roller board handle works perfectly with my Timbuk2 carry-on suitcase. (Or, I suspect, any carry-on with a double-pole handle system.) 3. The bag can be picked by the handle on top, whether or not it is latched, without incident. I've had bags with no handle, (a drag!), or those with a handle, but when you lift it must be latched or they go all over the place. 4. Laptop sleeve in the back, not in main compartment. This took me some time to get used to. But, it is a brilliant design. I can pull out my laptop very easily without digging around, great when sitting in the middle seat on an economy flight, or when it's attached to my carry-on. 5. Zipper side pocket with long-ish tether. I can easily keep my keys safely tucked away. But, doesn't work well for my passport. 6. Elastic side pocket. perfect for earphones! It needs: 1. Pen sleeves. I don't like dumping my pens into the bottom of a pocket. 2. Anti-slip material on the shoulder strap pad, slips off my shoulder all the time.

Really like the Timbuk2 bag, it is replacing a bag I've used for 11 years. As a traveling consultant my bag is my assistant and has to adjust and move as the needs of my clients demand. Since changing to the Timbuk2, I've been happy with it's ability to carry what I need and have pockets for everything.

I've been searching for a laptop bag for months ever since my previous one met its end. I finally came across this one and I'm so happy I did. It fits my 2014 Macbook Air 13" perfectly (I got the small version) and everything else I carry daily, e.g. laptop charger, phone charger, water bottle, a few books and folders. It looks amazing, feels durable due to its obvious high-quality build, and was cost half as much as some other bags I had been considering.

I received this case for an honest review. I absolutely love it! As a teacher, I'm always hauling bags and totes to school everyday! I can't believe that I can fit file folders in here for all my grading!! It's lightweight, comfortable strap for my shoulder, and the color is classic! The only problem is that I would love to gift this bag to my coworkers but the price is pretty steep. I think it would be a great graduation gift for anyone in the business world though. I absolutely love, love, love it!

Contrary to the description, this does not fit a 15" laptop. You need the medium size for that. However, it's a nice-looking bag. Not a lot of room inside, but if all you need is your laptop and maybe a notebook, it's a good choice. I wanted something that could double as a handbag for travel, so I chose a different bag.

Perfect size bag for travel. Easy carry and slides onto travel bag. TONS of storage and still slim and light. AND LOOKS PHENOMENAL!

I really am glad I purchased the Eco Static. It's lightweight, functional, and professional lookinggood for daily use. Seems to be sturdy and well made. I would've like some pen slots/small pockets for organization, but I am making it work. Overall, I'm very pleased.

I have never seen a product of such amazing quality! Very happy with mine. Absolutely love it!

Big enough for all my work stuff and small enough that I don't overcarry. Very functional.

After doing a lot of research, I purchased the Eco as a gift and the product met my expectations when it arrived. It appears to be high-quality, is well-designed, and the right size for the purposes intended (not too large, plenty of compartments, laptop compatible, eco-forward). The price was right (and I took advantage of the new customer 10% off, nice), shipping was free and on time. Nice job, Timuk2!

I had a Timbuk2 bag for the longest time. I took it everywhere and it still works for me. It is the perfect size and I used it when I traveled and when I commuted to work (mostly walking 4 miles). When my carryon suitcase broke and I bought a new sleek model, I decided to break down and buy a new Timbuk2 bag to go with the new suitcase. The bag I purchased is smart looking and fits on the handle of my new suitcase perfectly. I plan to use it for travel and keep my original bag for my daily commutes.

Replaced a more traditional briefcase with this stylish bag. Just the right size for a laptop and other essentials. Lots of pockets, though a second small zippered pocket would be handy for securing items. Ideally this would be accessible without opening the main flap. (Think of stuffing items in there while waiting for airport security with the bag over your shoulder.)

I travel frequently and this is a perfect companion to my travels, providing space for all the necessities!

This bag is great. It surprisingly holds everything that was in a bag twice as thick & heavy. Game changer

I use this as my main bag for my commute to work, walking and taking the train. The water bottle holder is pretty small but it works great to hold an umbrella. It is a very comfy bag and has stood up to some pretty heavy rain. I'm super happy with it!

This is my third Timbuk2 bag. Each one has lasted forever (the old ones are a bit worn, but still functional). The new bag is beautiful and looks quite sturdy. There's been some changes to the basic design over the yearsall positive! Love my Timbuk2 bag!

I bought a version of this in 2021, and it doesn't look like they changed much. That makes sense because mine has lasted over 3 years now. It just fits my 15.6" laptop (Dell XPS), along with a surprisingly good amount of space for a couple books/textbook, water bottle, etc It's durable, comfortable, and has a good amount of compartments for all the things.

I purchased the "Eco Deluxe" computer bag as a gift for my husband. I was looking for something that was quality, lightweight, stylish, and durable. I had waited too long to order something online, or at least I thought, but I am happy to report the process was extremely efficient and my husband was thrilled with the bag. It came exactly as described and I am confident he will be enjoying it for many years to come. Additionally, I needed to contacted Customer Service because I made a mistake on my delivery address when I purchased it online. While they were extremely quick to respond (with a real human in just hours!) they were so efficient in the processing that the item had already been sent out of the warehouse. It all ended well and I was able to get the package without a problem. I would absolutely order from Timbuk2 again!
