Teva shoes and sandals have been part of my wardrobe for years. Unfortunately these shoes did not measure up to Teva standards. The left shoe felt short when I put it on. I tried to wear it around the house and it just wasn't true to size. When I removed the foot bed and slid my hand in the shoe I found the inner liner to be flopping loosely around and a strange firm projection of shoe material projecting into the toe area! The stiff material in the toe area made the shoe feel short. Sorry to be sending them back, but they are unwearable.

The discontinued Riva were far superior. Bring it back, including the mesh version.

The fit by length and width are true to size. The problem is in the height of the boot and the cut around the ankle. In my case, the boot and ankle cut were high enough to rub against an arthritic spur on my left ankle bone on the inside of my foot. This was immediately painful and i couldn't find a strategy (e.g., inserting my orthotic under the footpad in my left shoe) that would permanently raise the footbed high enough to alleviate the problem. Consequently, I had to return the shoes. Otherwise I loved the style and other aspects of the shoes. By the way, I have no way of assessing the arch support since i use an orthotic. The foot is not particularly stiff, so I expect that there is moderate arch support.

I purchased these shoes for my nice everyday wear shoes, I've owned two other pairs, that have been so comfortable and quality that last years, this pair however hurts my feet, quality of the shoe looks great, but I've tried to wear them 3 different occasions and my feet really hurt, not sure why on this pair, seems to be very narrow , I will return for an exchange for wide width if available , if not then for a refund . The two previous pairs I've worn have been great, I'm just having trouble finding them to buy again.

My initial review 9 months ago was favorable. Now, they are ready for the trash. The Vibram soles are mushy and stones are felt while walking on trails. The support felt in other trail shoes is gone. The body of the shoe is not waterproof and susceptible to water. Hence, it soaks up everything and it lead to a worn out look quickly. Yes, it is waterproofed inside the shoe and that functioned as expected. Even non water proofed shoes have some protective oil to the skin to maintain its integrity. That would have been a smarter choice, but the shoe I believe was designed to compete against Gortex and it lost the contest. Don't waste your time and money with these.

Really wanted to like these, but there is some horizontal stitching in the heel area which rubbed off skin on top of my achilles tendon. I mean, blood on both feet. Had to send them back.

I tried these on and every step I took caused the shoe to dig into the back of my ankle. Needs more padding there. I tried to tighten them and loosen them but nothing helped. I really like the way these look but I had to return them.

I bought these to as an alternative to my full-sized pair of boot to wear to work. They look nice, they fit great, they don’t take a lot of time to break in, but they leak. At least this pair did today. I’ve worn them in the rain a couple times before and they’ve been fine, but this last time they failed me. It wasn’t a swamp in there, but my feet weren’t dry. Maybe I got a bad pair, maybe they’re not 100% waterproof, I don’t know, but now I’m having to search (yet again) for a pair of waterproof boots that will hold up all night in the rain. I know from experience that boots wear out and will eventually spring leaks, but I’ve not worn these that much and I haven’t had them long enough for that to happen. I guess I’ll keep them for lighter or not rainy nights at work, but I had such high hopes for them.

They appear well made but not what I wanted . Need something lighter and more old fashion" sneaker" style.

Ordered these for my husband and I to both try, since we technically wear the same size. He has a high arch, I have a flat foot, and my feet are wider. They didn’t work for either of us - this is a very stiff heavy shoe, lacking arch support for a Teva, and overall felt too small for both of us. Too bad, it’s a good looking hiking, casual shoe. Going back.

These shoes are comfortable, look great . My problem is that the heel area has essentially collapsed down vertically from putting on and off daily. Not smashed flat like people that just trash their shoes. A line sticks out around the heel cup area where the material has just given up. This is with less than a year of use. This disappoints me as these shoes cost just as much as the Scarpa's I previously purchased that held up for 3 years. For a similar price I also had a pair of Vasque shoes that held out for at least 2 years. Yet these Teva's were breaking down in under 12 months of wear. I would recommend buying these if you are going to wear them occasionally for a day hike or night out. However, they are just not built for daily/long term use.

A real disappointment. I've owned this model before, and put hundreds of miles on them, but they've been changed such that they rub my ankle bones. I had to return them and I'm still waiting for a refund months later.

love the look and fit of this shoe but after 3 weeks the rubber toe was peeling off and ripping. not good for $150 shoe. Zappos is amazing as usual and replaced them. less than 3 months later the inside sole where your heal is was totally torn up and a plastic feeling part make them really painful to put on. have to throw them out after only 3 months of use. different shoes for different people but these pair had terrible quality control. oh well.

The heel is so hard it rubs a hole in my foot until it bleeds. Tried calling the company but they can't be bothered returning the call or answering the phone. Will not buy from them again!!!

They fit good in the store so I bought through there website. When they arrived I started to break them in. After about a week decided to walk outside for about 2 miles. Now I have a hole in the back of my foot at the leather is so hard it's not breaking in. Contacted the company and have not heard anything for a week. If this is the sign of the company I'll buy another brand. Just wish they didn't feel so good in the store that I tried them on at

I'd been wearing Riva's exclusively for 15 plus years (8 pairs?). No more. Although the redesign (Arrowood) is aesthetically attractive, they have now become unwearable for me. The higher heel back chafes my ankles, and the repositioned metal loop is now too far back to be used without further discomfort. The old Riva's were the only shoe of this type that I could wear comfortable with my Morten's Neuroma (foot condition). My toes go numb after 15 minutes of walking. I've been wearing the Arrowoods off and on for over a year trying to break them in, and just have sore feet for it.

I have worn Teva products for many years and have been very pleased. That's No longer the case. Like many other companies, they have lowered their standards in quality. I have a pair of Teva hiking shoes that are still in decent shape that I've had for years And still holding up. Have purchased 2 pair in the last year with very light use and they have fallen apart like they are 10 years old. Literally have holes in them and coming unglued at the soles. 2 pair! Same with flip flops. I could send them back, again, but what's the point? Only going to get a new pair of poor quality shoes and go through the frustration all over again. Bottom line, these companies are young their customer service and dropping the ball on quality. Once again I will be searching for quality elsewhere. Disappointing because I always loved the products. Shame on you Teva, for selling out and leaving your loyal customers hanging out to dry. Barefoot!

While I love the look of the shoes, they hurt the top of my feet when I wear them. There are two different materials sewn together in the middle of the tongue and the stitching really rubs on the tops of my feet.
