I really like this shoe. It is comfortable. Good sole. It fit well. Looks good. But in the end this pair is just not holding up quite as long as I had hoped they would. $150 and after less than a year they are breaking down. Whatever they are using in the heel cup area just isn't very sturdy. For not much more, the Scarpa Zen I bought lasted me over 3 years before I had to give in and replace them. My Vasque's, around 2. These shoes are disappointing.

This is my second pair and I'm not sure I can find another shoe so versatile. This shoe is the all around best bet. Whether it's walking, hiking, or just working in and out of the house, this shoe does it all.

Love this shoe. It was comfortable right out of the box, and keeps getting better as the leather breaks in. I have a problem with shoes with a high arch, and these give great arch support without being too high. I’ve had them on the trail, and they perform great. Great traction, support, and they do not slip. I think they look great, and it doubles as a casual shoe. I wear them out around town, especially when it rains, a great waterproof shoe that doesn’t look like an athletic shoe. Very happy with the shoe and the great service from Zappos. I originally ordered size 10.5, but they were a tad too big, and was able to return for free with no hassle. So happy to have found this shoe.

Wore them right out of the box onto the trail -5 days in a row for about 30 miles ..good support - totally waterproof -great soles with good traction-amazing shoe

I love these shoes. I wear them for work and every day casual.

Took a few days to loosen up but these are extremely comfortable shoes.

Dear Teva, PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING WITH THIS SHOE!!! The pride of Vietnam! That is where they are made....only down side. I felt it my civic duty to officially praise these shoes as I have been increasingly discouraged in recent years trying to buy shoes. Zappos could cut me off from buying and returning and they would be fair doing so. It is embarrassing and frustrating how many pairs of shoes I have ordered and returned because of the garbage these companies are putting out. The Timberland Chocura boot, the northface hedgehog, the new balance 574, and just about every merrell used to be proven winners for me and are unwearable now due to these companies changing the design/fit, cheapening the materials and manufacturing the same exact shoe in various locations with no consistency. Teva did not cut corners on this shoe. It is extremely well made and instantly comfortable. It is just about the only shoe or boot that I have found that is snug in the heal and mid foot but then opens up just the right amount to be a little wider in the toe box. Most Goretex rip offs make your feet sweat...not these. They breathe being all leather at least if not better than goretex in a mesh shoe. Waterproofness has not been tested yet, but I would buy these if they were not waterproof they are that comfortable. And they look great, no busy I want to be a racecar zig zag stripes and such that so many hikers have. As another reviewer has mentioned, these are actually true to size. That is refreshing too as I have shoes sized 9-11.5 from the manufactures listed above that are now on my do not buy list. Teva has a loyal customer here, I am impressed and will tell anyone that will listen.

Very good shoes for hiking and every day wear. This is my third pair of these shoes!!

The fit was perfect, hand in glove first time worn. That's unusual for me. Good support and sole was very firm and secure. I like the tread design because mud is easy to clean/wash off; doesn't get stuck in crevices like some trail shoes. May not have the tread and support to suit all terrain, but more than enough for well worn trails. Appears water resistant as advertised; first time I didn't have GoreTex protection I was a little wary, but it's remaining dry. Best part of the shoe is the roomy toebox. That's a plus. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

I am a commercial flat roofing estimator. My job takes places where I am climbing, sliding, jumping, and walking over some very though terrain on a regular basis. Before I found these shoes I was in a constant search to find something that would hold up. I am now on my 6th pair of these shoes. They usually last me about 2 years before I need another pair. The old pairs are perfect for walking the dog, odd jobs around the house, fishing trips, etc. Before I finally retire them they have seen it all. I would highly recommend these shoes, very sturdy, well built, and stylish. If your looking for all this you've found your shoe!! Buy them and enjoy.

I bought two pair of these for our adult son, for Christmas - one pair for casual wear and/or hiking and the other for work. He says they are very comfortable right out of the box. He is on his feet all day at work, on tile floors and he says these keep his feet from hurting and help eliminate back pain also. I really like how well they fit him. The laces allow him to tighten the shoe to keep it from slipping, while allowing plenty of room for his toes to move. We're very pleased with this shoe and will buy it again.
