I LOVE these! I've had the mules for a couple years, but I'm heading on a long road trip and wanted a new pair to bring with, so I figured I'd get the booties this time to wear around the campfire and in the van. The only thing is that a lot of reviews say they're too big, so I sized down, but they were way too small. For reference I normally wear size 7 or 7.5; I ordered a 7, but I could feel the front seams pressing on my toes. Reordered a size 8 and they're a perfect fit. Maybe North Face changed the sizing after so many people said they were too big? Because those reviews seem inaccurate. But these are the BEST slippers once you find the right size!

I ordered my first pair of these booties elsewhere and my size (10) had my toes touching the ends of the shoes. I ordered in 11 and it fits fine. It hasn't been cold enough yet to verify how warm they actually are.

A friend of mine has a pair like this and loves them. I tried the on, liked what I felt on my foot so I purchased a pair and love them. Support and warmth, are the two things I was looking for in a slipper.

Amazingly warm. I bought them for 3 purposes but found them only feasible in 2. I wanted shoes to wear between climbs when out bouldering in the colder months. These are perfect for that purpose. I wanted camp shoes to wear during winter camping. Theses are great for that as well. Lastly, I bought them to wear from the car to the ski slopes for those resorts wear the parking is far. These are moderately okay in the walk from the car to the resort. But going from the resort to the car, I found them too warm. Its actually my only complaint about the shoes, they are too warm at times. So if you get cold feet like I do, these are amazing in the colder weather. But wear them on a decent day and your feet will sweat. If I lost them or damaged them, I wouldn't hesitate to rebuy them immediately. I do wonder if the mule slides would allowed me to use in all 3 scenarios or if they would have been too cold in the coldest environment or still too warm at times. By the way, I climbed and camped in below freezing weather and these have been great for 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

These are warm and cozy on my popsicle toes. I did put in some arch supports due to plantar fasciitis and there is still room to wear wool socks with them. On a recent trip to the snow they weathered icy and snow covered ground with no issues.

I get super cold feet and wanted good traction. These slippers fit the bill perfectly. What I particularly like is the insole can be removed and washed separately.

Very practical, warm and easy slip on and off for busy moms. I have wide feet and they fit me great. Wear almost every day. Only downside is that after barely one winter of wear, they are already quite scuffed and worn out looking. For the price point, they met my expectations. Would definitely recommend and will probably buy another pair for next winter!

The trash inside is annoying if you are barefoot. I use an insole for arch support. Very, very warm. Very glad I bought them. Bought a pair for my mother as well

I wear these to the grocery store, or taking my dog for a walk, and around the house, they are so comfortable and warm!

I needed house shoes that I could lightly wear outside for things like taking out the garbage. These fit the bill. Super warm and comfortable. I do wear socks with them because it's more comfortable for me, but it is not really necessary.

I’m normally a 7.5 and Zappos suggested I get a 7. After reading reviews, I sized up and got an 8. They’re a bit big, but if I have thick socks on, they’ll still be easy to pull right on, so I decided to keep them. Plus, once I got them in I didn’t want to take them off. Moral of the story is I think half sizes would be fine going either way, it just depends on if you’re looking for a snug fit or something you can easily throw on and off. I’ve been wearing them inside and outside since I got them yesterday. They’re perfect for bringing the dogs outside or running to the store but still comfortable enough to wear inside like slippers. Shipping was fast.

Comfy and perfect! They’re so ugly they’re cute and I haven’t taken them off since I got them. They’re warm without being too warm and causing my feet to sweat. I love them!!

Very comfy and cozy. Great for high altitude living and walking around outside in the mud/snow/etc. My only complaint is that the seaming around the ankles aggravates my skin if I'm not wearing socks.

I previously wrote a review, however, it was good except for one issue that came to my attention just yesterday. They smell after a while; my feet are stinky. Ew!

I would wear flip flops year round if i could, but in Ohio we do get ice and snow, so that's not practical. I wanted a snow/rain boot that would keep me warm and dry but still be easy to get on/off. These do the job! These only come in whole sizes. I normally wear a 6 or 6.5 but I figured for snow shoes I should size up, so I went with 7. I guess they are probably true to size, they are just a little big for me personally. I don't think a 6 would be right (a 6.5 would have been perfect), so I am keeping them. I haven't tested them in cold weather yet but I've worn them around the house and they are comfy and easy to wear.

They have very soft uppers, outer sole is decent. No arch support but nice and warm.

Slippers seem nice & warm. Soles are not very supportive. They are too loose for my narrow feet and feel like they almost fall off when I walk, need some elastic around the lower ankles or something. I wanted for walking around camp but don't feel snug enough on me for that. I ordered my usual size but wish half sizes were available to size down a bit without being too short.

I did not care for the booties and returned them. I ordered my usual size but found it difficult to get into them. Once in, they were ok, but nothing really great or particularly useful, in my opinion. They are warm, soft enough, though. Basically, really struggling to put them on turned me completely away.

Overall, I really really wanted to love these and am sitting here trying to decide if I'm gonna return them. (I'll report back on my concerns if I keep them.) I was looking for a comfy outdoor slipper to wear after paddling and other water sports. Think uggs but less bulky and easier to clean. I figured they might also work in the snow, but that was a bonus (I paddle most of the year and get to the snow when I can). The problem: When you remove the insole, the footbed is cardboard. I can't imagine that this will last with nearly daily wet feet and mucking about on beaches and docks. I know I'm likely to be harder on them than the average user, but this seems weak for a company like North Face. If they were a little cheaper, I'd risk it, but now I'm thinking about returning them... Other stuff: Without socks, they'd be pretty close to size, just a little tight. But I wanted it to be a little roomy/more comfy so I went a size up (from 6 to 7). The heel works well in both sizes, which was nice. They are mostly very comfy, the seams have a little tag that's slightly annoying but might soften over time. The outersole seems good and solid. I really want to like/keep these, but I think they're headed for a return...

Didn't like how they looked on me, and my regular size was too big without socks, had to return.

I use these just to do school drop off in the am, strictly what I bought them for and all I'll use them for because they're ridiculous looking. To be fair they're comfy and warm, and very easy to slip on and off, they'll be ideal for the winter to do quick drop offs in the snow without having to strap my winter boots on. Would also be great if you have a dog you're having to go in and out forBUT I legit look like I'm walking around with sleeping bags strapped to my feet. They run a little big- unless you plan to wear heavy socks with them, size down a touch. I bought these on sale and would NEVER recommend paying full price for them.
