My last pair of North Face boots finally wore out after 10 years of service! I've worn these boots to work everyday shoveling snow with dry feet. I did buy a size bigger than I usually wear and they fit a bit better.

Warm, durable and stylish

I've been needing a pair of winter boots for a long time and I've shopped many brands now when it come to the north face I've only every purchased jackets or coats and have always been impressed with quality of their garments. So why not try the shoes/boots. They arrived and out of the box the fit is good the insulation really cushions they feel as they're of great quality as I would expect looking forward to many years in these boots

I bought them for work this winter they're comfortable the only thing is after I wear them for a full day the inside get damp so I bought a boot dryer, I love these boots though I would recommend them to anyone working in cold weather

I wore my boots today for work and they where comfortable right out of the box. My feet where warm with only one pair of socks on out in 25 degree weather.

I use these boots for long hours in the snow, using my snowblower at work .

Only 4 stars because I have not worn them in the Chicago snow or extreme cold yet due to there not being any, but if these Chilkat IIIs are anything like my 2 pairs of Snowsqualls I have owned for 45 years then they will be great for anything winter throws at me and you and will be just as durable. They should be great for shoveling, casual wear, winter/snow sports, great traction, etc. These Chilkats are very comfortable. The inside hugs my feet like pillows and feels oh so warm. They look cool and are lightweight. Niiice!

Use in the rain and snow so far it's been good love the feel

These boots are for my son. They look great and are of good quality, as expected from The North Face. The only downside is they are a little bit heavy, but otherwise comfortable.

I bought these for a trip to Iceland in early September. This is my first pair of hiking/snow boots. My feet get very cold very easily in Chicago so I will be using them as snow shoes as well. My feet were very warm in these boots and I was very surprised by how THICK the insulation was! I wore regular socks and my feet were fine. While these shoes were very easy to get in and out of, the mouth was too big and there was too much "wiggle room" for my shins. I got used to this, but a tighter fit would have been nice. We hiked through some muddy trails and river water and these shoes held up fine. Though when I got home and was hosing the treads off, I felt the inside insulation was a bit wet which is not what I expect from a water-proof shoe... Follow North Face's size guide and order a half size up on these.

Solid comfortable boot.

I use this boots after a snow storm. I feel confident to wear these boots because it offers excellent traction, it's good looking and it destroys the snow. There's alot of cushioning in these boots so you can try to wear any socks that u feel comfortable with; any socks even summer socks will work because the boot is warm, no need to worry about your feel getting cold.

Not something I would use for extreme trekking but accurate sizing, warm and overall quality product for casual activities.

It meets all my need requirements when the weather turns fierce.

This product I will be using a lot this winter and on rainy days.

Bought this for my son to go on a ski vacation. They are very sturdy made, good traction rubber bottom, waterproof outer sole which is excellent for snowy weather. They look and feel comfortable with cushion on ankles. They are a bit heavy/bulky or else I would give 5 stars not to mention the reasonable price.

Great traction boot. Very,very warm. Keep feet comfortable standing in snow and slush all day. The fit is about 1/2 size small so size up 1/2. Wear wicking socks...a must.

This is the 2nd pair of Northfsce. The first ones were a women's size. I ordered one size larger and they were still too small to be comfortable. I then had to order a men's size. They are almost too wide. I still ordered a bigger size and they aren't any too big. I am hopeful that they will stretch out and be a comfortable boot.

Good boot, but must buy a size bigger to be comfortable.

The price was right and I am glad I bought this for my son who loves them!
