I loved these shoes, and it made me sad to return them. They fit well, were cute, comfortable, and had plenty of toe room. Unfortunately, they SQUEAK! I sounded like a clown entering a room. NOPE.

Based on the pics and video presentation/demo, I was concerned that the opening would be too big ("wide") and that might make my foot not be held in very well (I have thin, bony, low-volume feet), but they were fine, turned out to not be a problem. Adding a thin foam cushion insert under my own "over-the-counter" orthotic took up any slack there may have been and made them fit more snug. The only downside to these is their foot bed insert is very thin and flimsy with no support whatsoever, in my humble opinion. Surprisingly, the medium width was just wide enough for my C-width feet! They run true-to-size in length, but slightly wider than your average "B" width for a medium width.

These shoes fit true to size and were comfortable the first time I wore them. My foot stays in place without any slippage. They aren't beautiful but i wear them with long pants so they look fine with slacks or jeans. I love the support. I was concerned about "squeaking" after reading one review, but mine are fine. Silent and comfy.

The size was okay but the width is smaller than the previous encore shoe. I buy Merrell ONLY because the width WAS perfect & the only brand that fits. This shoe is not comfortable like the encore nova. The shoe is still good quality & long-lasting.

I've worn Merrell Encore slides for more than 10 years. I ordered my usual size in the Q2 style and much to my surprise, they were a bit too short. My toes hit the end of the shoe; they never did that in earlier versions of the Encore slide including the pair I am currently wearing. I carefully compared the Q2 to my old Merrell Encore slides and visually confirmed what my feet told me. The Q2 appears to run about half a size shorter. I also noticed that the "collar" of the Q2 does not fit snug against the top of my foot. No way to tell if this would resolve as the shoes were broken in. Finally, the placement of the seams and the stitching for the leather insets on the sides of the upper makes that part of the shoe stiffer than earlier versions. This also has the potential to put extra pressure on the little toe joint, a problem for some. I'll be returning the Q2 slides to Zappos.

Everything about this shoe is terrific except that the left one squeaks so much that I am embarrassed to wear them outside of the house. I've had them for about a month and hoped that after wearing them for awhile the squeak would disappear. No such luck. Very disappointed that Zappos did not respond to my customer support request asking for advice as to what might solve the problem. Because of those two issues I am giving this a 2 star review.

Love these shoes. It's my second pair. Just right for casual wear. Even nice as daytime house shoes. Easy on easy off and easy to keep clean with the smooth dark leather. Will definitely buy again.

I have wide feet and bunions. These shoes are light weight and do not rub on the bunions. I can actually wear thicker socks to keep my feet warm.

This is the third pair of Merrell Encores I have purchased. They were recommended to me several years ago by my podriatrist. I am able to use my orthotics in them. These shoes are comfortable, sturdy and well made.

These are perfect. The back of this model is very slightly higher than the ones I have that are at least 8 years old. Orthotics are easy peasy. The sole absorbs shock, do me feet stay comfy all day. The fit is true to size for casual shoes. I usually size up in running shoes, but I don’t need to in these. They are slightly wider than a regular width which works for me but might not work for someone with a narrow foot.

Great all around shoe. This is my 3rd pair. Hard to wear out, but I worry if they discontinue them ?

Ordered for my Mom and she loves them...says they're very comfortable. Initially ordered the wide width but had to return them....they were a little too large for her....medium width fits fine.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes, and make me feel very stable. I like the little lip at the back that keeps them solidly on my feet, unlike a real mule or slide. I gave the style four stars only because they're not really pretty shoes. But that shouldn't come as a surprise given that you can see exactly what they look like in the picture.

Well made shoe out of quality materials. So many shoes these days have cheap foot beds. These shoes are more firm but do have some bend, great footbed. Allows you to take out the insert and put in your orthodic. I am excited to have such a supportive shoe!

Great fit. Wear all day as my house shoes. Feet never tired, I almost forgot I was wearing them. Would get again.

These fit perfectly but I wear very thin socks. I think if I wore thicker socks they might be too snug. Very comfortable for work. I’m glad I bought them and wish they came in more colors than just brown and black.

Perfect! Loved the fit and style. After getting these in black leather, I’m going to order more in different colors because they are just what I’ve been searching for. Worth it

I usually wear the regular width in a size 8.5 but those seemed way too long in this version, so I ordered the 8 wide and they're perfect. They have the Merrell comfort I've come to expect and I can wear them all day without trouble.

I needed a new supportive slip on shoe to wear daily around the house. This fit the bill. I have had plantar fasciitis in varying degrees in both feet for years and cannot go barefoot in the house! This pair of socks just a little too thick, sometimes I’ll wear barefoot.

Love these shoes but these were a little too small. Comfort level is excellent as is the arch support.

I was very pleased with my purchase and the price was great! The delivery time was totally acceptable during this pandemic, I could not be more pleased!
