Nice looking, comfy, cool weather shoe. A little more forefoot width would be good. I have not experienced walking on hard wet surfaces yet. Overall, good choice.

Great boots! Be careful on wet tile! Very slick.

Look too much like a work boot for my purpose. Comfortable fit with a high roomy toe box and durable looking sole. Returned them for a leather finish that could be polished.

Color did not match color in photo. More of a light gray/brown

I bought this shoe as a winter shoe to wear to work and leave on during the work day. Ice and salt destroys expensive leather dress shoes. Sorel came close to helping me achieve this goals. I haven't tried it for a season in the rain and snow so I can't comment on its water resistence. While it's certainly a step in the right direction, the shoe is a little too bootlike to fully serve my purposes. I like the soft, flexible faux suede material, which conforms nicely to my feet. But the sole looks too much like a boot. The jury is still out on whether the shoe is breathable enough for all day indoor wear. But so far so good, surprisingly. 90% or more is fit and comfort. I usually wear a size 8 shoe, but sometimes a size 7.5. I am comfortable wearing a size 7.5 in this shoe. The shoe is very comfortable. One downside is that there are scratches and darkened areas already on the toes of both shoes which doesn't bode well for the longevity of the shoes. If Sorel can solve this problem and design the shoe to be more dress shoe like and less bootlike then I think they have a winner here. Especially given the number of attractive colors.

A comfortable and stylish boot, although I get a minor amount of rubbing/irritation in the heel area after pounding pavement during my morning commute.

everything looks great. I'm not sure how insulated they will be in the Chicago weather. excellent traction, which is what i needed them for.

These shoes would be a perfect Christmas gift for my husband, but the odd discoloration on the toe part of the shoe ruins the shoe. The toe part of the shoe is a shade or two darker than the rest of the shoe. Otherwise, these shoes are exactly what he needs in our cold climate. Sorry to say I am returning, but hopeful to find a similar shoe.

I really like these boots. You should know that, as others have said, the "cordovan" picture is not at all accurate. The Sorel website has the correct pictures. They are actually a sort of soft grey, a bit darker in the toe and heel. The welt IS cordovan and the soul tan. I think they're gorgeous. The arch support is inadequate for me because I have high arches, but it was easy to pop in the orthotics that I like. I gave a four overall and for comfort because I'm still on a quest for the perfect boot. But these are pretty close.

Nicely made. My first pair of Sorels. I am surprised that the sole does not do well on wet/slippery surfaces. It appears that it should. The color is much lighter than the picture shown.

Color differed pretty dramatically from the pictures. I have been wearing these for a year, maybe twice a week, and they have held up well. More comfortable with heavy socks. Bought an after-market insole for better support. Not as well made as Ecco's, but worth the price.

These shoes look great. I bought them for a trip where I knew we would be outside a lot. I will say that they are NOT "waterproof". My feet were wet in a steady but light rain. They may be water resistant, but definitely not Waterproof as advertised.

Unfortunately, and I only found this out after wearing them for a week - these boots are killing the bottom of my foot - the pad near the toes. I took them a half size small after returning my normal size of 11.5 - initially I felt it would just be a break in period, but doesn't appear that is the case. I have a high arch foot - maybe these shoes would be more suited for someone with a flatter foot. For the money, I guess I will try an insert but frankly, I shouldn't have to. Disappointing to say the least.

Purchased these boots about three months ago, and am having issues with the sole on the toe separating. That aside, these are excellent waterproof boots that are comfortable don't look terrible. I do a lot more walking than most, so I'm not surprised these didn't hold up for long, but if you're looking for something extremely sturdy, I'd advise looking elsewhere.

These are nice boots but if your feet are prone to sweating (as mine are), you might want to think otherwise. My wife bought these for me as I was looking for a pair of waterproof boots for the winter. Unfortunately, the waterproofing does not allow for the material to breath, so I can't wear these for more than 30 or so minutes before my socks become wet with sweat, causing me to feel cold.

When I received these, right out the box they are flawed. The glue holding down the insole is flawed, so the insole is loose. With every step I take, I can feel my foot and the insole sliding around in the shoe. IN BOTH SHOES. When I turn the shoe upside down (e.g., to shake dirt out of it, make sure it's empty before putting it on) the insole flops around, loose. This is a brand new pair of shoes - this should not be happening.
