These shoes are not waterproof despite "waterproof" being stamped on the back. I wouldn't even say they are water resistant. I've worn these on wet turf and in the rain. They leak water similar to tennis shoe, only these hold the water in so it sloshes around. If you like rivers in your shoes, then these are for you.

After hiking with these, my back heel was in pain and bruised the next day.

I bought this last fall to be my new upland hunting and winter hiking boot, first time out this year in damp grass and my feet are soaked. What happened? Comfortable boot, not very supportive, but does an okay job if you're in dry environments.

A huge crease developed across the toe of the boot within ten minutes of wearing the boot. Which made the boot very uncomfortable as you walk.

Unfortunately there appears to be a defect in the pair thatI received. The gum sole that comes up over the front of shoe is a little abnormal and I can tell from past experience that this will eventually come apart.

The first month of having these boots was great. After about 20 days delivering packages in the cold and snow, my feet are now cold and wet. Unfortunately I have had to replace them as they are not durable for professional use.

NOT WATERPROOF. Bought these just over one month ago and have worn them less than a dozen times. I noticed my feet getting wet right away. I was walking through dewy grass not through puddles. Comfortable and light weight but don't expect your feet to stay dry. I tried calling customer service and have been on hold for over an hour with 165 people still in front of me.

Well they seem warm and comfortable. Glue all over the sole and shoe. For that the look cheaply made and I am returning them.

I bought these boots and I never got my order, they cancelled, they never contacted me to solve any issue with my order, they didn't reimburse my money and it's impossible to call to the telephone (1 hour waiting and anyone answer). I'm not going to buy anything more again of this brand.

After less than two years of only occasional use, the rubber seal at the top of the boot started to come apart, which means the boots are no longer waterproof. The company's advice was to buy sealant and close them back up. A good boot should not be coming apart after being worn less than twenty times. I wouldn't buy Columbia again.

I bought these at the beginning of last winter to use while disc golfing. They're super comfortable and they look pretty sweet just one of the boots it's definitely not waterproof while the other one is and it was like that since the first use I am disappointed and will never buy Columbia shoes again

I bought these boots 4 months ago. Absolutely loved them, kept my feet warm and DRY. Wore them for early morning and late night walks with the dog. About a month ago I noticed that water no longer repelled off the top of the shoe and soaked through to my feet. My feet are now wet just walking through my yard with the morning dew. Extremely disappointed. These should have lasted longer than three months, especially considering the price. I expected more from Columbia.

Bought these shoes less than a year ago and only used them a few weeks before breakup season was over and thought my feet just got sweaty because they were insulated. Unfortunately that was not the case. Really noticed it when I stepped in a slush puddle that was 2in. deep letting in a GOOD MORNING rush of water. Laces do not hold up either would not recommend.

Very disappointed, not water proof at all. Don't mater if you step on water or snow for a second or a minute you'll get your feet wet. Besides that, they are very confortable and look good.

At first I thought that I would love these boots until I hiked in them all day. The first problem was I had to stop every mile to re-tie them, the laces should go further up the top of the boot. They loosen up very easily and the top of boot opens up to act like a shovel to pack snow into the boot... I'm also not entirely sold that these are waterproof, my socks were soaked after 8 miles but that could have been from all thr snow getting in the tops. Don't waste your money!!!!

I wear size 11 and that is what I ordered. It cramped my feet and got blisters on my toes after just ONE day of use.
The most uncomfortable shoes I ever wore.
I love Columbia products but very disappointed in this one.

HAve worn twice won't wear again. It seems their temperature operating range is somewhere between about 20 degrees F and 40F. Five hours at 18 degrees and my toes where nearly frozen despite including toe warmers. On a 6 mile hike in the woods at 45 degrees my feet sweat so much and the shoe is so compliant that they rubbed my feet raw, not breathable. I have little toes in extreme pain even 5 days later and a blister the size of a quarter on one heel. They look good but really loose in the comfort and functionality departments. I hope someone at Goodwill can use them.

I reeeeeally wanted to like these, considering the price and brand, but they’re not worth it. They’re definitely very comfortable, and they do look great. The biggest problem, though, is that they flat out didn’t keep my feet warm. There is also a very strong petroleum-ish smell that I think comes from the “thermal” material, and it’s horrifically powerful—I actually had to roll down the windows in my car after the first time I wore them because I started getting nauseous. I live in Buffalo, NY, and work as a parking attendant outside in the winter, so I needed boots that would keep my feet warm all night. After the first hour, I could feel my feet starting to get cold, and by hour two, my toes were numb. Mind you, it was only 30 degrees that night, and these are supposed to work into “negative temperatures.” There was no snow, and I was wearing two pairs of thick winter socks, too, so there’s absolutely no excuse for my feet getting cold. Like I said before, I’m honestly just disappointed that these boots aren’t as good as I thought they would be, because Columbia usually has great products, and these definitely aren’t cheap. Long story short: for look and comfort, I’d give them 5/5, but for warmth I’d only give them a 1/5. I would highly recommend spending the same amount on a different pair.

1. The mode of action for its Waterproofing is a chemical- not the weave.
2. The second eyelet from the top on the inside rubs the ankle
3. The webpage color is different for shark than in person
4. The sole is thin /can feel cold comming from below
5. The sweepstakes reviewes of the product are misleadingly incentivized
6. Fabric bunching at the seem of gusseted toungue buldging out

I'm extremely disappointed with these boots, and I more disappointed because i love it. The boots looks very nice, are comfortable and very lightweight BUT it isn't WARM at all. I've tried everything, wearing two socks, wearing wool sock, wearing my snowboard socks, i've even tried to heat the boot with the car warm air conditioning before going outside and no matter what i tried to do, after 5 minutes in the cold weather my feet always FROZE TO DEATH arround -5C even the description says the boots were Rated -25F / -32C
