I was worried about the quality at first because they seemed kinda cheap and stiff. I was completely wrong, after wearing them a couple times, they have broke in awesome and are super comfy, keep my feet super warm! I literally only wear them when it's freezing because my feet will sweat they get so warm. I can wear them for 15 hour days and they do not hurt my feet. Would totally buy these again!

For Christmas I was gifted a pair of the Columbia FireCamp boots, and I stated after wearing them once that they are the most comfortable boot I have ever worn (indeed, they may be the most comfortable shoe of any type I've worn). Given that success but wanting a slightly 'stiffer' boot, I bought the Fairbanks Omni-Heats thru Zappos, and I am NOT disappointed. It's a little stiffer and a little warmer- both of which work well on frozen ground here in New Engand. In addition, the toe box is slightly more square, which works with my simian-like feet. I got a Zappos deal on these (normally they are about $30.00 more than the FireCamp, but they were discounted almost $40.00 so they ended up being cheaper than the FireCamp). BOTH are great pairs of boots at a very reasonable price which I'll use for different conditions- I could not be more pleased.

I haven't owned a pair of snow boots since I was a little kid. I have always gone out in the snow in my sneakers or hybrid-trail running/mountain climbing shows. That said, I will never do that again. These boots have changed my world. They are incredibly comfortable and warm. Whether walking my dog in the snowy woods of our backyard or shoveling all types of snow (even slushy snow) the boots kept my feet dry and warm. I felt good on all types of terrain and in all conditions. Plus, the color/style made them relatively acceptable in public and tucked relatively easily under my jeans so people could hardly notice I was wearing diesel snow boots in the office. I would highly recommend these boots for anyone trying to find a functional and sleek way to keep their feet warm and dry during the winter.

Fit was as expected. These boots are nice and warm. I haven't tested out their claims of being waterproof. I have gotten many compliments on the look of these boots. Overall I am very satisfied with them.

I bought these to use while shoveling/snow blowing here in Chicago. I have a pair of insulated LLBean bean boots, but they aren't very warm when wet. These Fairbanks boots keep my feet warm and they're comfortable yet stylish. I've receivedseveral compliments. The tread is also helpful on snow/icy walkways. I definitelyrecommend these boots!

These snow boots are great! They are light, comfortable, warm, and the materials are of great quality. These boots are so comfortable and light, that it truly feels like if you were using regular athletic shoes. They look good not only with your regular snow pants but also with jeans. I like that Columbia was able to come up with a more modern design for snow boots. The Omni-Heat interior keeps your feet warm not only for when its snowy but also for those very cold days. The grip is great too. Probably the only issue is that the material is so light that you do not have a lot of ankle support. However, this is not a concern to me as I won't be needing that much ankle support. Overall, these are amazing! I would recommend this product and recommend you at least give it a try. Great job Columbia!

I don't often unequivocally state something is the best and I wont buy anything else. This is a case where I do. These are the best boots money can buy. They're warm. Not warm. Toasty. They keep my feet warm and dry like I've never felt before. I have had military boots that never lived up to this standard. The fit is great with a thin sock or Columbia's boot socks. It will be easy to purchase a new pair when I wear them out because they are so nice. I wonder how long it will take them to wear out. The style will probably go out long before the boot wears out.

I would have given an even higher rating to these boots for comfort and function if possible, truly one of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. Can wear them running errands, to a hockey game, or out on the trails and they are fantastic.

Boot is very warm, and you can feel the heat radiating. They are padded and comfortable to walk/hike in and get more so over time. Materials and color (Shark) look great also.

I'm from LA and we don't get rain very often, so I figured these would serve me well here since they look good, and waterproof and other reviewers claimed them to be warm. I put these boots to use on Christmas Day and they did not disappoint. It rained while I was out and I deliberately walked slow to allow the boot to get wet and even walked on all of the puddles I could find to "test" them. I'm happy to report that they did not leak and my feet remained warm in approximately 40 degree weather using normal socks. I could actually see the water droplets sliding off the boots.
They run true to size, are very comfortable and require no break in period. I've yet to try them in the snow, but they passed the rain test in cold LA weather.

Tried it out when I went skiing in Tahoe. The shoe is very comfortable and true to it's size. I walked around in the snow without any fuss. My feet were warm. Unlike other all-weather shoes, this pair was neither bulky nor dull. I got a number of compliments for the look as well.

I was looking for a stylish and comfortable winter shoe va the bulky and uncomfortable ones you see. It's everyday winter shoe that you can wear and walk freely unlike bulky heavy boots. I wouldn't wear it in 12 inch snow or thick ice but it's for those days.

I Just recently received my boots. I live in Portland Oregon where its wet and cold incessantly this time of year. These guys are great. Love the color. I went with the Nori, Canyon Gold. The omni heat technology they put in the gloves are inside this boot. Keeps my feet warm We all hate cold feet!

Bought this to replace my 8 year old Columbia winter boots. This is very light, comfortable. Wore this and walked for 1/2 mile in -15F Minnesota weather, never felt cold in my feet. If you are actively moving, the reflective liner in the shoe will help to keep the feet warm. If you are standing in the bus stop, not sure it will work the same. If your feet is already cold, this won't help.
