My husband and I wear this shoe style most of the time. They are comfortable, waterproof and are perfect for walking the dog in the rain or morning dew or going for a hike. Mine lasted about a year-but that was pretty much a 3 mile day, every day. wish they lasted a little longer. also wish i could fine something like this i could wear with a sun dress. When I saw one in my size, i nabbed it for when my current pair goes. I have worn a 9 and a 9w in this style. I have a narrow heel, high instep and a broader toe area, Because of the style, i can get away with the wide which is a little more comfortable with warm socks.

good hiking or travel shoes

I love these shoes! Just bought my second pair. The color is called cinnamon, but to me, it's more of a true brown which I prefer. The fit of these shoes is better for me than the regular moc--I think the toe box is a little wider. These are my every day walking shoes and they are wonderfully comfortable!

These shoes are very comfortable from the start. They fit snugly of the foot and have a nice wide toe box. The sole is slip-resistant and great for walking in all sorts of weather. I tried 5mother pairs of shoes through Zappo before I found the pair I love.

I had to exchange a 9 for a 9.5. The 9.5 fits beautifully. Width is perfect. The moc is very comfortable and the Vibram Arctic Grip soles really do the job. I have been wearing Merrell Mocs for many years and my only complaint is the shape of the toe. My first pair had a nice rounded toe which gave plenty of room to wiggle my toes and I loved the way it looked. Still a great shoe but I would love to have the old style back.
