size is not accrete why can't shoe company's get it right

I purchased the exact same shoe, in the exact same size, a couple of years ago and they fit perfectly. I "swim" in these.

The stiching on the toe broke in less than a month on one shoe and the other is already starting to come apart as well.

The toe end is already coming apart after 2 weeks. Dissatisfied

The shoes fit too large for me. I couldn't use them. I gave them away to someone who's feet fit them better than my own.

I've owned three pairs of these over the years. I bought a pair the other day, the size I've always bought 10.5, well I had to go all the way down to a 9.5 for proper fit. Whoever is making these now has totally ruined the fit and feel of these shoes. The heel area is always trying to slide up/off while walking, it's very loose and doesn't feel right at all. I will never buy a pair of these again.

Quality wasn't there. Thread holding tongue to elastic came off after wearing 2-3 times. Contacted company and was told there was no warranty after shoes were worn.

I've been buying these for 5+ years and my most recent pair fit very loosely. I've always bought size 12 but these new pair almost slip off walking normally and my foot can slide forward an 1 inch and with the older pair mf foot barely moves. Very disappointed with the change.

Too wide and much heavier than previous Merrells that I have enjoyed.

Ought usual size, medium width (although my feet are borderline wide). Shoes are ok and sturdy but way too wide in ankle and heel hence constant heel slippage and chafing, and they seem to get wider with each wear. Prepare to throw away socks after a few wears. Makes you wonder if Merrell execs actually try on their shoes before selling them to the unsuspecting customers. Will be donated.

I have had several slip on Merrells. This model same size as street models that I have previously purchased but they fit tighter around my toes causing corns. I have not been able to wear them. I should have ordered a larger size but who knew when buying on line where you cannot try on. I just assumed they would fit like the others.

I had a pair of these some years ago and finally tossed them because while wonderfully WIDE (I found out that Merrill W works for 4E perfectly) the designers had made NO provision for people with wide feet to get those feet INTO the Mocs! The opening for the foot is just too small! And, once jammed in there, the opening and tongue/elastic was so tight that my circulation was cut off. I DO NOT HAVE FAT ANKLES or feet either. I know the size I ordered was correct because I wear Merrell Moab boots (Mid Ventilators or the like) Wide width every day with no problems! Also, the cushioned top edge of the Moc is too high and cuts in under the ankle bone(s). I always take out the innersole and use a more cushioned gel inner sole but with these Mocs and the way they are cut/sewn there was no way to be able to fit me feets inside with the same gel innersoles I use in my reg Merrell Boots. When I ordered these I totally forgot that POOR DESIGN and once I tried them on realized that the issue is still there even tho I've seen comments about this exact same issue. So I returned them. Oh, yeah, the elastic was stretched... looked to me as if someone else had tried these on too. But, they were still too tight. NOTE TO DESIGNERS & MFG: the last/foot-bed and width are great!!! Workmanship VERY good, BUT... ya gotta make allowances for a wide foot to get into the shoe! PLEASE go back to the drawing board and fix this. ALSO > PLEASE make sandals for WIDE FEET!

I bought two pair's of Merrells both in the same size. The Moab Adventure Moc was undersized. I could not even get my foot in it. The Encore Rexton Slide fit fine. I returned the Moab 8 days ago and I'm still waiting for a credit.

AVOID. AVIOD. AVOID I sent a lot of time looking for a good walking shoe.. these seemed to be it. BUT in less then 1 week of normal going to work, shopping etc. The seams started coming apart around the toes!?!?! They look horrible, now completely unprofessional and sloppy to wear them to work.

Was bery surprised with the fast the the shoe allows water to flow from the front of the show easily tendering unusable either in wet or snowy conditions. Having used the previous models i was very disappointed

What's to say? It was too big. No big thing. But Merrell dropped the ball on reorder. I didn't reorder because I would not have gotten the good discount I got the first time. Which I think is tacky. Otherwise I may have tried a half size smaller.

Very poor fitting, won't be wearing because expect it will damage foot.

Way to big. Biggest 12's I have ever had. They will sit in my closet. SO much for shopping online

I bought this shoe for the color, but to my great dissatisfaction, the colors are not even close. The data tag on the inside of shoe says Boulder, but the colors are not the same. The two-tone sole is dark grey, sort of brown and not even close to the light tan shown in the product image. The upper is a dark brownish-grey and not even close to the lighter tan shown in the product image. In fact, the colors don't match any of the Moab shoes. For the price of these shows, where's the quality control??? Someone must have been asleep at the wheel when this batch arrived from Vietnam.

It takes 2 hands or a shoe horn to put the shoes on. They are supposed to slip on. The backs of the shoes aren't stiff enough to slide your foot in. They just fold over and you have to pull them back up with your fingers.
