Visually these shoes are appealing. Upon receipt of these shoes I wore them around my house for a good 4 hours. Everything seemed good and then I wore them for a day, mostly riding in a car for a 5 hour ride. I walked about a quarter mile same day after the card ride and the shoe wore a blister on my little toe. Of course I now wore the shoes outside and can't return them. I've since wore them and I'm hoping that the blister issue was due to my feet possibly swelling during the long car ride. There isn't a lot of room for your toes so I have my fingers crossed. I love this brand of shoes so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

The shoes are very comfortable and not too heavy. Good grip for hiking.

I like the shoe and it seems good, but unfortunately Merrell runs small for me, so my usual 10 was too tight and had to go back. I honestly haven't had a chance to purchase a bigger size but plan too.

These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on and I really like the fit. The only thing that held me back from a full 5/5 is that they don't have great toe traction on concrete when it's wet and slippery. I think it'll improve as the tread was broken in, but I had to walk pretty carefully during my first several weeks with the shoe.

Nice shoe but a little small overall. Wish it was available in E width.

The Men's Moab Adventure Lace Waterproof is a good-looking shoe that would fit in on the trail or at the office. It has a nice dark brown color that doesn't call too much attention to itself. The sole and laces likewise are color matched to the shoe, so it makes an attractive but subtle appearance. It is comfortable as are most Merrell hiking shoes, and is ruggedly built. Waterproofing is important for trail use, as well as rainy days in town. Overall, this is a nice shoe for a variety of purposes.

The fit was as measured. The purpose for the purchase was a potential overseas trip which would involve some light hiking on rocky uneven terrain but also some casual dining. The all black appearance helps to accommodate both those goals although the strip of reflective material running through the lacing and around the sides in the heel area is a detraction from this purpose. Just personal opinion relative to anticipated usage.

Like all Merrell shoes, this looked beautiful and I was excited by my purchase. But, upon walking around in them, despite the fact that the sizing was correct, I felt like my toes were being crunched by the relatively snub toecap. I could have gone a half size up, but my heel would have been slipping out of the back had I done so (and I've experienced that exact problem with other Merrell shoes). I think both their heels and toecaps could use some reengineering, honestly - beautiful shoes but the counterintuitive fit in either the heel or the toecap may drive you crazy. I recommend trying them for yourself but be prepared to return them.

My 4 star would be a 5 star if the box had something on care plus there is nothing found on this web site either.

Purchased the Moab Adventure lace last month. Hoping it would fit just like the winter hiking boot that I purchased last year. Fit exactly the same, great all around shoe. I'm going to purchase the same shoe in black. So hard to find shoes for narrow feet. Medium width 11 1/2 fit as expected.

I've worn Merrell shoes/boots for decades and usually have quite a few different pairs for different conditions. A few have started to wear down so needed to be replaced. I've been happy with most Merrel purchases and I am with this one up to now.

Thank you Merrill for making the best wide size boots/shoes I have found. I highly recommend the Moab especially for those looking for a product in a wide size. It fits great and feels "worn in" (but not cheap/low quality) from the moment you put them on. Comfort and Durability get an A+. I just wish there were more color options I'd buy many pairs.

I got outstanding use and wear out of the previous pair purchased and I am hoping for the same with this pair.

Comfortable and pleasing to the eye. I had to reorder one size bigger which were perfect. The boots are on the sleeker side but still built for tough usage.

This is the second pair of similar shoes i've owned. I don't go on trails with em, but I would believe they would work great for Light loads. They have grippy Vibram soles that don't wear down to quickly with casual/urban walking and have good support and cushioning. Nice not to worry about wet socks in downpours and light snow. Sized right for me in a ten with medium thick socks.

Comfotable with good traction but I feel the traction bumps.. I put in an insole to cushion the feel of he traction . I still feel the bumps but al in all it is comfortable. If you want all black you can apply shoe dye to the grey area. I think it runs a bit short. I have an 11 1/2, which gives me only about 1/4 inch or less of front space. Other brands give me 1/2 inch or so. II think a 12 would be better with this shoe. I found the round laces to open on their own sometimes. Applying some skin emollient to the laces where they meet adds friction and the laces do not open. After wearing the first pair for a week or so, I bought a second pair to change over every few days. Overall I am fairly satisfied with these shoes.

Overall I I know this shoe is going to stand up to the everyday use and keep looking good. My favorite feature is the grip these soles have they won't slip.

Took a day or 2 to get used to different soles and heels than I am accustomed to but they are comfortable and fit nicely-true to size.

Great overall shoe, as expected from Merrell. However it does not breathe well and I have to use an odor blocker not to get stinky feet.

Wish the shoelaces were an inch longer, my tops of feet barely lace properly. Very stylish and hopefully tying laces gets easier
