Shoes are very comfortable with minimalist padding. Not designed for long runs but more for sprints. Size is about true to size but offers extra room in toe area. The shoes appear to be quaIity made. I love the color.

No problems at all - good fit, good delivery and so far very comfortable shoes.

I'll preface this with the fact that I own the first version of the Vapor Glove and have loved them and put many road and trail miles on them. I have only owned the VG3s for a couple of weeks but so far, so great. They are, in my opinion, an improved version of the first Vapor Glove. Everything about the shoe seems to be high quality as I've come to expect from Merrell and they are perfect for me, meaning that I quickly forget I'm wearing them. My only hope is that Merrell doesn't stray away from good minimalist shoes like some other companies. The only knock on comfort is the tongue seems to slightly bother my left foot (don't wear socks). I might try lacing a different way to remedy this.

I wear a 12 in Nike and an 11.5 in Adidas athletic shoes -- I needed to order a 10.5 in this Merrill Vapor Glove 3. Listen to the reviews that tell you these shoes should fit like a glove. I'm not sure I couldn't get away with ordering a 10. I get a lot of heal pain wearing regular athletic shoes but after two weeks working out in these, the pain has almost entirely? vanished.

I bought one pair and liked them so much I bought 3 more. They feel amazing. If you want a bunch of padding these are not the shoes for you. If you want a minimalist shoe that feels amazing, this is it. There is a tiny pad built in, so it's not the most minimalist shoe I've ever seen, but they still rock.

The vapor glove 3 continues the tradition of great comfort in the barefoot series. It looks good, feels good, and is relatively durable. I don't put running miles on these, so I can't comment on that sort of long-term durability but for everything else, they are fantastic.

I usually wear vibram 5 fingers when I run, but I feel like a tool wearing them around town. This shoe is perfect for me for when I go out and about. I know they are intended for running, but for me these are the perfect shoe for getting my errands done around town, feeling comfortable, and not getting looks from random people.

My go-to shoes . I run 25-30 miles /week. I love the minimal aspect of these shoes- my only issue is that it is wide in the front and when I tighten my laces- it bunches up.

These were comfortable to use for indoor workouts and very comfortable for extended driving. I love them! I just hope the sole holds up as much as I'm going to wear them.

The shoes are super comfortable and great to wear. If you like the minimalist style and if you like the Vibram Five fingers, I personally think they are a better option. I had a minor problem where the tongue came unstitched. As usual Zappos provided excellent customer service and took care of it and more.

Have been wearing Merrell footwear off on and on for the last 2 years, made the switch from NB, which still offers a great minimalist shoe, but find it more beneficial for the road. My first pair were the Merrell trail glove's... which I found extremely comfortable, offering the minimal feel/drop while giving me just enough protection from rocks/roots/ etc. They have worn extremely well over the last year - which urged me to try a pair of the (even more minimal) Vapor Glove 3's.
The first thing I noticed was how well they fit, (they do fit minimally large) but for the most part are very accurately sized. The toe box is roomy enough, and didn't pinch my toes, and the upper is so soft and flexible, you'd barely know you were wearing shoes.. my intent with them is to wear on the road (and groomed trail) during most shorter training runs and for longer ultra trail races.
A bonus they look super sharp!
The best way to sum up the feel, is like wearing a stylish, protective pair of water shoes.
Definitely recommend them for anyone accustomed to wearing a minimal shoe who wants something slightly more protective than barefoot or the vibram 5 fingers.

I was looking for a minimalist shoe with a toe box wide enough for me. I have tried others by Merrell but they had annoying attached tongues making them hard to get a comfortable fit. These have a normal tongue and regular laces, so you can get a customized fit. I will use the shoes for two things walking around, and rowing on my concept 2. So far i am really pleased with them after a day of wear and a row.
Not any better looking in real life than they are in the pictures. I almost went for the red ones because they were cheaper when I ordered, if they were only for rowing I would have ?????. But who want to walk around in red shoes all the time?

These are most comfortable minimalist shoe I've been able to find. This is my 3rd pair - not from replacement but I keep purchasing all of the colors. They have held together much better than other minimalist shoes that tend to tear at the toe box.
I've used these for trail running everywhere I've gone to hike. This may not be for everyone using these on trails. You will feel every rock, root, and pebble. It makes you more concious of your foot placement, and I've watched others roll their ankles on suspect terrain that these made me avoid.
The one thing I would suggest is to be very careful if you use these for lifting and do not have strong feet. You typically want a very flat bottomed shoe for squatting and these are very flexible.
I cant say enough good things about these. I wish they came in more colors.

I found them great for everyday walking and running, Vapor GLove 3 are really comfortable for me. No troubles with transition to minimal shoes. I love this barefoot-like experience and now I find other shoes as uncomfortable, what might be consider as VG3 dark side...
Of course these shoes are not good one for low temperatures or running on sharp rocky trails.

Love this shoe. This has a bit of added support near the ball of the foot, which makes the shoe fit more snugly compared to the vapor glove 2. Great minimal design as usual and comfortable.

I like the Vapor Glove series. I think they're a great minimalist shoe. Had to send my order back because they're running one half size too large.

Switched to these after a pair of Vivobarefoot Primus Lite started falling apart after only 4-5 months (500km) of use. While they don't look as good as the Primus Lites, they have a more glove-like fit which is nice but the sole is quite a bit thicker (6mm) than the Primus Lites (3mm), which you can really feel. Makes for a more comfortable run for sure, but less of a feel for the ground. Shame they only come in gray in Canada.

If you like barefoot running shoes, or just want some socks that you can wear outside, these are great. They're a great substitute for Vibrams Five Fingers, if you don't like the toe shoe look.
I'd also recommend:
