All I wear are Merrells I buy 2 new pair (Chameleon and Jungle Moc and I just got a pair of Out Most. They feel great. Don't change a "Farkin'" thing.

Fit perfectly right out of the box. Great support versus more dressy shoes. I work on my feet 5 or 6 hours at a stretch and my legs were significantly less fatigued on the first day. Exactly what I was hoping for.

This is my second pair!! This is the only shoe I've ever worn that had this high of arch support. I have very high arches; my feet are like telephone handles and I have no traction in the middle of my foot. Are there other brands that have this good of arch support? I love this shoe. It seems to be as good as it gets for my feet. Great price too. Not sure why the colors effect prices though?

This is a well made shoe. The sizing is correct, along with the width. The toe box has good room in it where the toes are not crushed or crowded. It's light in weight compared to the other Merrell shoes, and the venting works, allowing the shoe to breathe. My only complaint is that I do not find that this shoe is as comfortable as the Moab 2. The reason for that is that the arch support is so good, it throws off my gait and/or stride. I've worn the shoe off and on for about 2 weeks, and the arch support still bothers my feet. I'm hoping that this changes after a few more wearing's and the shoe finally breaks in for me. I would highly recommend this shoe for anyone that needs great arch support. Otherwise I suggest you consider another style from Merrell.

This is a terrific shoe! I recently was introduced to the Merrell brand by a Zappos assistant. I'm really grateful for that since the ankle height boot is one of the best hiking boots i have ever owned. My very positive experience with those boots prompted me to try these. They fit amazingly well and are light but very supportive. My feet are very hard to fit since I have a very high arch and a foot condition where my large toe joints don't flex. These boys allow my foot to get into them without a struggle and then, using my own orthotics, provide great support. Final selling point for me is that I'm a Scout leader and these boots look like they were designed to be an accessory for our uniforms.

I bought these for my 18 year old son - he loves them. He says they fit great, feel great right out of the box and he was pleased with the support.

This shoe is very breathable, lightweight, will be a repeat buyer !

These are amazing for the price. Really comfortable heel box. A lot of value for the money. Sizing was right on for me.

Agreeing with what many others have said...these are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. With my wider foot, I wasn't sure if fit would be good--it's perfect! And, they're not as heavy as I thought they would be; I appreciate the lighter weight. Color was well represented on Zappos site as well. Very happy with this purchase!

I am very happy with these, especially the price. Normally Merrells are out of my price range, wish they offered more shoes at this price point. I have high arches, and I give these an 8-9 out of 10 in that area. Good toe space.

Very comfortable. Ran big compared to other Merrell styles, had to return and get 1/2 size smaller. Great shoe overall!

Happy with the look and quality but this seems to run a bit big. I normally wear a 14W but this was just too large.Returning for one size down.

A recent reviewer described how weird these shoes felt on their feet and I had the same experience. I was going to send them back, but after some thought, I determined that the primary reason for this, at least for me, was that it was making the front part of my foot sit substantially lower in the shoe than I'm used to. And I found that rather strange and uncomfortable. I've never had a shoe feel that way to me before and I'm an old guy and have worn out a lot of different shoes in my time. Fortunately, the insoles in the Outmost Vents can easily be taken out of the shoe, so I bought some inexpensive, (flat) cushioned insoles and cut the back half off and inserted the front half into the shoe and then re-inserted the insoles that came with the Outmost Vents. This made the front of my feet sit higher in the shoe than before. I've not actually been wearing them because I haven't decided whether I'm going to keep them, but the odds are higher now that I probably will. Just haven't made up my mind yet, but they do feel much more comfortable now than they did before. I did not buy these for hiking shoes. I bought them for casual wear. If I had been looking for shoes to do some serious hiking in, I would have bought something much more substantial. For example, I have a pair of hiking boots (Vasques) that I've had for 30 years and they do not use cloth loops for holding the boot strings. What they have is far more substantial than that. For now I'll give these shoes 4 stars 'Overall', but not sure how I will feel about them a year from now - that is, if I decide to keep them.

Low top below the ankle if the picture isn't clear. The colors are nice and the overall design is solid. Definitely felt true to size but narrower than anticipated. I got the regular first but very narrow, especially for men's shoes. Swapped for the wide width but still felt like it was squishing the front of my foot. And it has a very marked arch support. If you need arch support I'd give these a try but it was a bit too much for my needs.

I've learned to start almost a full size larger than my normal shoe size when purchasing Merrell, and I'm a loyal Merrell fan having several pairs. Standard shoe size for me is 10.5 but when I've bought Merrell's, they've consistently been 11.5 and even 12 with a pair of the mocs/loafers. This is not a big deal given that, once you get your size right, the shoes are very comfortable and durable.

These are super comfortable shoes, I have pretty wide feet so I often go a half size bigger to get something that feels good. These fit great, the arch support is fantastic. I even like the laces which are beefy and easy to tie.

I like the shoes the inside arce is a little higher than I like but I think that's is do to being a new shoe.

My job requires that I walk a lot. Although these fit well, they do not have the cushioning that I need. Decent knocking around shoe but not for walking all day. That said, I am comparing them to shoes I typically pay $85-120 for so maybe for the money they are in line with others.

I returned. I wear 11.5 and it felt like an 11. the insole was cheap I felt, not comfortable... but I couldn't give it a chance it was just a little smaller than an 11.5.
