Very stylish and sturdy. That's Sorel. Great quality shoe but this boot is extremely difficult to get on. The instep is very narrow. Once on, it is quite comfortable but the struggle is not worth it. I don't know who this boot would work for because if you order a larger size then the footbed will be to big but if not, you probably won't be able to get this boot on unless you are barefoot or have a very thin sock. Sorry to return.

The main reason I purchased this boot was the hopes of having a semi-cute waterproof option for my trip to Oregon. But, the shoe is much too small. I can't get my foot fully into the shoe past the ankle area, so it's got to go.

These boots are really nice, I loved them. The only problem was I could not get my foot into them, They are very narrow. I would highly recommend them for people with narrow feet.

Boots looked great, but truthfully, I couldn't even get them on. I purchased a half-size up (which I've always done with Sorel) and I have slim legs and feet. Bad design, I'm calling it. All it would take to fix this is a zipper someplace.

I wear a 10 and ordered a 10.5. They fit in the length, but we’re pretty narrow and the top part where there is a seam really hurt my foot. It would have been difficult to break them in, if that was possible. I sent them back.

Loved the style of this mid height boot. Ordered my regular 10 in Sorel's but returned b/c they were just a little small on the toe. I was expecting these shoes to be so hard to get on like other reviews but they weren't that difficult for me. I just received the 10.5 yesterday after waiting for it to return to stock. They fit great! Unfortunately the shoes were damaged from the previous person who returned them. The back loop to pull the shoe on was torn off...I assume due to the same reason other people have written about in these reviews. Unfortunately they are going back to Zappos. I did order the shorter/ankle Emelie bootie though and hope those work out better as we transition into Spring.

Leg of boot is quite large and pull tab arrived broken. Will not reorder.

The struggle is real, y'all. Seriously. I bought my usual size 8 and was ready to send these back after I could not get them on the first time I tried them. However, once I discovered my dog had taken it upon himself to destroy the shipping box, I decided to try them again and Success! (Still took some time.) Once on, they fit fine and are comfortable. So I am keeping them. If you get these, plan an extra 10 minutes in your day to put these shoes on and take them off. Yes, it's just as much of a struggle to get the damn things off. What we do for fashion, right? At least they're practical too.

These boots are really cute. I ordered both of them in a size 5, which is what I normally wear. I think they will look great with different things - jeans, leggings. The only reason I am returning them is because the right boot is considerably smaller than the left (both are marked size 5). It's quite strange and disappointing. I'm hoping it's just a manufacturer defect. I will be ordering a replacement for the same size and crossing my fingers that the second shipment will have them both at the correct size.

Really cute and comfortable once I got them on, but they are really tight and I had to work to get my foot into them. Wanted to keep them, but it's just not worth the fight to get them on.

These boots are freakin adorable!! And so comfy.....if you can get them on. It took every ounce of strength within me to pull these boots on. They fit perfectly once my foot was in....but definitely not worth the struggle of getting them on! I had to return :(

I ordered a half size up based on other reviews and previous experience with Sorels. And I had no trouble getting them on, but the calf was so wide that they looked like galoshes. Otherwise, cute and comfy. I'm returning these, but if you have bigger calves they might be a great boot!

I need a pair of boots for the muddy/rainy/snow melt shoulder seasons. I wanted to love these- but they were too narrow. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9. I ordered the 9. I don't have wide feet- but they were a challenge to pull on and off. Length was fine. They will be excellent boots for someone with narrow feet. Quality, functional, and stylish-but not for these feet.

These boots are very cute but they are so hard to get on. Probably going to return just for that reason

I ordered half a size larger than I normally wear since I figured I would wear these boots with thicker socks. I could barely get them on! I have a pretty narrow foot and it was with a lot of sweating and cursing that I finally got the boot on with just thin socks on. They are nice looking boots but I was looking for something I could just slip my feet in and out of.

Not very stylish. Not impressed with Sorels collection this fall, needs something more to it. Comfy otherwise but I returned!

I was so excited about these boots. Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the other reviews. I could not get my foot into these boots. At all. And I didn't even have socks on. So I can't speak to how they fit. Very disappointing because they're really nice boots and would have been perfect for staying stylish in bad weather.

Really pretty boot, that I really wanted to work for me, but with a really weird fit. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5, and I have average calves. I ordered the larger size because of other reviews, and the foot was too big, the ankle was loose, and the calf was way too snug, even for materials that would eventually stretch. Sent them back, but not without some regret.
