I really like these boots. They are cute and functional. I read that a lot of people had trouble pulling them on. I didn't struggle with that for more than 3 seconds. That said, I have fairly flat feet, so the arch of my foot didn't get in the way. I agree with another review that people might be leaving in the cardboard insert, because I don't feel any sort of seam at the top of my foot. I think they will require a small amount of breaking in, they rub on one toe, but the leather will stretch a little. I will likely put an insert in them as my feet move around a little near my heel, but that isn't uncommon for me. I always wear a size 8 and that is what I bought, if you're almost always a certain size, I don't think you'll need to size up or down for these.

These are my favorite boots ever! The only thing I will say is to size up if you’re a half size. I got these in brown in a 9.5 and though the fit is great they are really difficult to get on (even after a year of breaking in) so I decided to get the black ones in a 10 and they slide right on and the .5 size difference is not really noticeable since you’re wearing socks. Both pairs were a great investment!

Great boots! I bought them for my trip to Barcelona and they were perfect! As stated by other reviews, the boots are narrow and can be challenging for people with wide feet to put them on, but I did not have a problem. I have small ankles and it is easy enough for me to get them on. The boots are comfortable and the style is cute. I love them!

I agree that these boots were very hard to get on. The break-in time to get them on took awhile but now it’s easy. I went with my normal size 9 so I could get them on. Sometimes I can wear and 81/2 in sorel.

Gifted this item and it was very well received. Definitely half size up even for regular socks, especially for thicker socks.

I ordered my usual size, 9. They fit perfect with thin socks. They were a struggle to get on and off the first few times, but quickly started to stretch. I am so glad I didn't order a size up!

Listen to reviews that say size up! I ordered in 2 sizes -- my regular 8 and an 8.5. I could barely get the 8 on my foot. The 8.5 fit perfectly.

Love these. I was on the hunt for a comfortable, casual, everyday pair of Fall boots that were high quality but affordable... these hit the mark. I had purchased Sorel winter boots last year and loved them - seems I'm becoming a bit of a Sorel loyalist ;-). These have already gotten a ton of wear... I only wish the heel was a little higher.

Fit perfect. Read the reviews and was worried about sizing but they fit like a charm and I can wear about any size sock in them! Also, awesome traction. Perfect combo of cute and functional.

I usually wear an 8.5-9 and took the advice on sizing up which I did to a 9. The boot is a little hard to get on like others said but not impossible. Once the boots are broken in I do not see a problem getting them on.
