These are comfy BUT I ended up returning several times to try to find the right size. The toebox is narrow. I tried wide - way too wide. Tried normal but a bigger size. The length and toebox finally felt good but the sides gape really badly when I walk. Seems like I'm having this in-between-size problem with Clarks more often these days.

The shoes, while super cute, were super wide! And very hard, didn't feel like there would be a lot of softening of the leather. Sending them back. Thank you Zappos for your great return policy. Makes us size 5 people so happy!!!

Disappointed. These are cushioned and feel good on the bottom of my feet, but like others experienced they pooch out on the inside of my arch. Sadly, I will send these back. I like Clark’s and usually have good luck with their shoes.

I have purchased this same style from Clark in the past and the quality is just not there anymore. The inside of the shoe is the "new" style innersole which is just not as nice as the previous leather. Will rethink buying Clark products in the future sight unseen.

These shoes looked much better online. They were so masculine looking in person. They were comfortable though. Returning them.

I ordered the size I typically get when a Wide is available and they fit wonderfully until I took a few steps and noticed the sides of the shoes near the arch were bending out weirdly, as if there was too much leather or the shoe was constructed for an even wider foot. I imagine if I'd actually broken them in they would have become far too large. So: very attractive shoe, but had to return.

Love these shoes, however they have mislabeled the Right foot and it is a half size larger. So I am very bummed.

I loved these shoes, but the sides were too high and hit my ankle bone. They weren't comfortable as a result. They have a very padded, comfortable, supportive foot bed, and they style was adorable. I wish they fit.

I like the shoes; however the size I normally wear came 2 inches bigger. I would suggest to order 1/2 to a whole size down. If your a wide width person such as myself don't order it or the shoes will be entirely too wide. It's best to order down and normal width. The material and shoes felt good on my feet. I hope this helps.

I ended up keeping another pair that had a more streamlined look and was more work appropriate.

The shoes are very cute but are very loose and gap on the sides. The heel slips, also.

Just ok. Too wide in mid foot and heel so must wear socks or I step out of them. They ride high on the back of heel. Love the sole but uppers very red and look a bit cheapish.

The back hit my ankle bones, rubbing with every step I took. They unfortunately had to go back. Also, the mahogany color was very red. More red than brown.

Not bad, but narrow in the toes and lacking in arch support. Leather quality was pretty good for the price.

These didn't work for me. They were comfortable enough when I put them on but they gap on the sides of the shoe. Too bad really because I did like them but they went back.

I love these shoes, but am still trying to find a pair that fits. Both the 8.5 and the 8 are way too long. shooting for a 7.5. Haven't worn a 7.5 in more than twenty years. . .

I wanted to love these. They are very cute and I'm trying to buy more flats after a foot injury. Unfortunately, these hit me exactly wrong on the Achilles tendon and rubbed my skin raw after 10 minutes. I'm still wearing bandaids over a week later! As another review pointed out, they are also wider on the sides than I expected. If they fit you well, they are a great, cute, closet basic. Unfortunately, I had to return them because they weren't the right fit for my feet.

I really liked these shoes on and they felt very comfortable, but they visibly gapped at the sides. I tried walking in them and they wouldn't stay on. There's no narrow so back to the drawing board for me. : (

I’m an 8 in Clark’s and while technically my foot fit into this shoe, it was so snug that it would just be blister city every time I wore them. I just ordered a half size up and we’ll see what happens with that. The width seemed narrow but it’s also a brand new shoe. I think breaking it in would take care of that but the length wouldn’t have gotten much better.

I love the looks of this shoe! However, the wide width was not wide enough for me and there was a lot of gapping on the sides.

These are very nice looking shoes and made of quality materials. However, the right shoe feels like it has been stretched out and runs big. If I have something that involves much walking like I did today, the right shoe is uncomfortable and lose.

These are super comfortable, but though they look sort of cool and chunky in the photo, they just look kind of grandma-ish on. (I think the toe is just a little too almond-shaped for the chunkiness?) Anyway, just not for me.

The shoes were very comfortable but they gaped at the sides and squeaked when you walk. I need to contact Zappos to return.

Super cute, but have to return because they run long but extremely narrow (I usually am regular width, this was super tight).
