They are a good work shoe and for walking around for long periods of time. They have started to come apart at the seam where the shoe bends the most. It is glued not sewed so that’s a bummer. I’ve had these for a month.

Nice sneaker overall. Love the variation of colors. I purchased an 8 1/2 because the sneaker runs big. However the sneaker was still a little roomy. I kept the 8 1/2 because I wear thick footies sometimes. Overall nice and I plan to wear them a lot this summer because they are easy walkers.

They finally got these in my size and I had to pull the trigger. Zappos always coming in clutch with the restock. I love these platforms, and as a man people look at me different for wearing them, but I could care less. These are great, but what would be even better is if vans put an ultra cush insole to increase the comfort. Not gonna lie, I’ll be wearing these to sleep tonight.

Classic vans platform. This review is for the metallic gold pair. I already own a pair in classic black suede which were super comfy, didn't really need to "break in". The gold pair however, are incredibly stiff and not nearly as comfortable. They will definitely need more time to "break in", though one of the reasons I like Vans sneaks was because I didn't ever really need to break them in. Normally wear true to size 7. The heel on both shoes rubbed horribly on my ankle and didn't even give me blisters; it just went to rubbing the skin straight off. Even with blister bock band aids under socks. Hoping they eventually get better. The other qualm I have about these shoes is the construction of it. They look very poorly made; the rubber is double-layered at several seams, very thick and not well formed/round. I expected better from Vans but the quality is just nowhere near where it used to be. Maybe this is how the brand is now. It wouldn't be this much of a complaint if the shoes were $40 or less but they're $55+.

The shoes were hard with no support. I would not been able to walk in them all day. They had to go back.

I love these shoes but they were gigantic! I need to size down at least half a size if not a whole size (I’m trying a whole size down). I think they’ll be comfortable but there was no way to tell because they were so big when I tried them on.
