platform Alot smaller in person, and I guess it makes the shoe a little bit bigger so maybe go a half size down

A little large

As someone who occasionally suffers from plantar fasciitis, I think these are pretty decent casual sneakers. They’re well constructed, fit true to size, and have a classic look. The extra lift works well as it provides a little more cushion and stability vs other Vans shoes. One thing to note, my ankle bones sat very low in these, so I slid in some basic arch inserts for a little more height and support. And while I don’t plan to wear these on long meandering walks, they’re great for daily low-impact activity.

I bought these vans after looking for a platform white/cream shoe to run a round in with jeans etc. they are cute however I had t realized the have ‘off the wall’ written all over them in the fabric:/canvas/suede. Unless you look close you don’t notice what it says. Not sure if it’s a deal breaker yet... I’m still deciding.

I got the all-black platform women's size 7.5 as a birthday gift. I also have a pair of regular non-platform Vans Old Skools in a women's 7.5 which fit perfect. The platform 7.5 was half a size too big. I sent them back to get the 7, but decided to get a different shoe as I wasn't all that impressed with the colors on the all-black shoe - they seemed faded out. Switching to a pair of Vans Authentic or the checkered platform.

My favorite summer sneaker to throw on and go.

I’m usually a 6.5 in Vans (with a thin foot) and the platform version was a bit too roomy with out thick socks. I’ll be wearing these in the summer so that won’t work. I had also ordered a half size down (6) just in case, per other review, and these were perfect. Toe was not pushing uncomfortably on the front of shoe and it felt like it wasn’t going to flop off the back of my foot.

I loved these Van's but had to return them because they were too wide for me. They are Unisex so I think that was the issue as I usually don't have a problem. Just keep that in mind if you order these.

I am normally a size 5.5 and these felt at least a half size too big, so they definitely run a bit bigger. Overall, love the style of the shoes.

Love my platform Vans. They are cute and comfortable. Bought my regular size but for some reason they are slightly larger than the other Van's I have, not enough to send back but roomier than the rest. Still love them.

I really love this style from vans, but i wish it had more support. i ordered the platform version thinking the sole would be thicker than it actually was. I still love the shoe but I need vans to improve on the quality.

These platform Vans are so cute but they fit differently than my other Vans. They're not as comfy and fit about 1/2 a size smaller. I'm usually a 5.5 womens in this brand but the 5.5 was too small (I bought the all white color). When I tried walking around the house on carpet, the back of the shoe (heel area) was rubbing against my foot and I could tell it would be painful and create blisters if I wore these for a long time. I'm tempted to buy a size 6 and see if they'll be more comfy.

This is my first pair of Vans. They felt a bit tight when I first put them on, but after wearing them around my house for a few hours they loosened up and were great to wear the next day to work. I was able to wear them all day without any issues. The Black on Black looks really cool. There does not seem to be much of a Platform, but if these are the Platform version the other version must be really flat. The toe box is good it's actually better than I expected. There seems to be some arch support, but not as much as I would like.

I loved this shoe but made a mistake and purchased 1/2 a size smaller (size 6) after reading some of the reviews, and also because my previous pair of slip-on Vans were 1/2 a size too big. After wearing them around the house for a few minutes, they felt too tight both lengthwise and across the toes. I will have to exchange for my typical size 6.5. Otherwise, the style is timeless and goes with just about anything, with a cool-girl vibe. Hope going true to size works out!

I am normally a 6.5-7 in sneakers and these were just too small on me in a 6.5 and I have narrow feet and these were a little too wide for me, so unfortunately I'll return. Bummed because they were so cute! Converse width jsut fits my feet much better than vans

Love them

These shoes are very cute. They definitely have a different feel than the regular platform vans but they’re still good. The laces that come with them though are cute but not durable and broke after two wears. I bought new laces but I’m already noticing they’re fraying from the sparkles on the shoe so these will eventually rip also.

I love the new style of this classic sneaker, but they were a 1/2 size too big and felt a bit clunky. I wear a 7 but a 6 1/2 would have been a better fit.

I did not want to give these shoes a bad review, because I love Vans. However, the platform is not as high as I had anticipated. I will be returning.

Fit as expected good quality material good price

Was looking for a more comfortable alternative to Converse. These fit the bill beautifully
