Great shoe but the 4E width was narrow. I wish there were work boots with true 4E width.

Good boots.

So far I like this boot, no bells or whistles, but seemingly well made and a comfortable fit. The real test is how well they last, I've had many a boot that just falls apart prematurely. Time will tell. I did buy another pair for our country house.

These were ok. Not really a good fit for me personally. But they were quality made boots from what I could tell.

They were ok the first month or so. After that I had to replace the insoles. They offer no cushion or support whatsoever. My feet were all out of sorts and in pain after wearing them for work all day. Once I replaced the insoles they were better, but overall I would not recommend them. On the upside, they are certainly durable and absolutely waterproof.

Shoe to bulky for need.

For the first couple of weeks they were ok. Took afew days to break in, but weren't killing my feet. Now they are super uncomfortable. There is seemingly no support and insufficient padding/insole cushion. This combined with them not exactly being lightweight is a bad combination. I strongly suggest purchasing padded insoles, preferably something with more arch support. The only real upsides are that they seem water resistant and they look good.

Heavy, not comfortable at all and a half size larger than ordered.

I was truly amazed at the fit. I have Fred Flintstone feet, (very wide, high instep, etc). These fit like a glove without any real break in. So I would suggest ordering true to size. The reason for the 3 star? The "pull on" tag on the left boot came off on the second wear. I hope it was a fluke. I'll update if there is a quality issue. I'd probably be more upset (it was literally the second time I put them on) but work paid for them...

Went from Raiders to these. Definitely feel price difference. Feet hurt wearing them. Buying new insoles with better support and cushioning. Toe feels wider than normal. Originally ordered a wide. Needed a regular and still feels too wide.

Context: This is the third pair of these I've bought, after having been very impressed from the first day I wore them years ago. I wear them six days a week for a minimum of eight hours a day, and the one day break-in (if even that) and excellent comfort from the moment I put them on brought me back for a third round, and the second pair (not sueded) I'm keeping to resole since the leather and laces have survived excellently with zero maintenance. No cleaning or conditioning oil, nothing at all. Problem, and reason for the first 3/5: This third pair and this suede version in particular I am not a fan of. I bought them without reading the description closely and thought they were the original gold leather I bought the first time around. Not a big deal, the OTT orange will fade, no problems there. However, within the first week of wearing them it rained, and I discovered that they are NOT waterproof. I momentarily submerged the toe area in a puddle, which I did with previous pairs without issue, and the water penetrated the leather upper. Not sure if this is a drawback in the sueded material (why make a sueded workboot, by the way?) or an issue with the seal between upper, lower and sole, but I was pretty disappointed since they specifically claim the boots to be waterproof. I would recommend the conventional leather version over this tan suede for anyone this might be a concern for. I can't afford to be without boots long enough to request an exchange, so I just went wild with conditioning oil in an attempt to make them water resistant.

These are a big heavy shoe. Fit seems OK but the shoe itself just seems monstrous. Might be ok if I'm climbing out of the sea if Japan to stomp on Tokyo

Huge shoe ,heavy, and I really wouldn't cal them soft toe.

My son-in-law is very fussy about looks of shoes. Although he was wearing snickers in the rain and snow ?? He chose another pair “that looked better” and had fur.

The first set of boots I received had a manufacturer defect because two of the lace grommets broke off immediately, although, Zappos happily reshipped a new pair. The boots do their job protecting against the winter elements, however, they could be much more comfortable.

I'm giving these three stars because the hooks for the shoelaces started popping off after about 3 months. I have never had those hooks fail on a pair of work boots before. Usually the shoelaces are the first thing to go. I'm pretty disappointed. I was really happy with these boots for about the first three months I had them. They are comfy and stylish. I work construction so I spent 40 hours a week outside in the elements with these boots on and while they weren't truly waterproof, they could withstand a lot of water if you're not walking through puddles. They were great until the hooks for the shoelaces failed.

My husband loved this boot to start, and then started to notice that his feet were wet. The actual sole of the boot wore out and had holes within a few months. He doesn't do anything that rough, he is however in grass with the morning dew often, so wet feet is not a fun way to spend the day. It's unfortunate, because he really liked them to start with.

My husband liked these at first. Only to find out for a work boot they don’t last very long and they are not waterproof. He’s not one to want to complain, but when your feet are wet from the morning dew and you work outside all day it’s not very comfortable.

It is just tight on the sides and heavy, I cannot work with these
