Received this as an X-Mas Gift & Grateful for it!! @ 5'10 265 lbs a 3xl fits perfect. I run hot so a T-shirt/Polo & from office to park you're good to go.

This product is a great way to stay warm once the weather drops below the 30s. Dropping below 0 just layer up and it will still work great. Chest pockets are a great way to easily access phone/keys/wallet when on the go. Seems very durable and tested it in the cold rain and worked quite well. I also love the style of it. Get it in black and it will be stylish for 10 years. Just be aware as this is more of a cold-weather jacket and you will get too hot if wearing in high 30s and 40s.

Fantastic jacket! This is the 2nd winter that I've been wearing it. A size small is a bit big on me, but it works great because I can layer underneath. The wrists and bottom edge of the jacket are elastic which is great for keeping the warm air in. I've worn it in -45C weather for an hour and stayed toasty warm! The fur can flip down for an excellent wind break. It's not the lightest jacket, but it isn't super heavy. Highly recommend.

I was really surprised with this jacket first of all it's so light but so warm. I've always wanted one but couldn't stomach the price. Managed to get it on sale. My only complaint with it is that it's a static electricity magnet and that the hood sheds otherwise 10/10

I was on / off about the jacket at first but good thing I bought mine. Perfect for the cold weather would definitely keep you warm I wear it with only a long sleeve underneath and it still keeps me warm.

This jacket is a must have if you live in NYC or Chicago. It will keep you dry and warm. It's great if you are a commuter jumping on trains and buses.

TBH I mostly buy Patagonia, I'm just partial to their brand. They didn't offer a jacket quite like this however. I did a lot of searching. This was exactly what I needed. Super warm, repels water, obv stylish (lol) & basically meets all my needs for these cold Michigan winters. I'd buy this coat again, but I better not have to with that Lifetime Warranty.

Everyone's reviews were so helpful in determining which size to get for my fiance, so I wanted to share as well. He is 6'4", 190lbs, wide shoulders with long arms. The size L was a perfect fit! I was a little worried about the arm lengths/ being tight around the armpits, but it fits beautifully. Looks like an ideal fit, but he still has plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt or a thick sweater, etc. underneath and not feel constricted.

Would rather have velcro instead of snapes

I typically wear a size medium in sweatshirts, long sleeves, jackets, etc. However, I got this jacket in a size small and fits perfectly (I am about 5'11", 145 lbs). It fits great on the sleeves and on the waist. It seems to fit snug but not too tight at all. I love that there is a built in face mask and you can remove the fur if you want to. I feel like I will have this jacket for many years to come.

I bought it in the North Face store. Just as a reference, I am 5 feet 6 inch, 130lbs and I chose size Small. I like to wear loose-tting jacket during winter.

This jacket does excellent when it comes to the wind chill. Definitely worth the price. I'd buy a few more for myself to last the rest of my life.

This is a great jacket. Warmest one I've got and I put it to the test in Alaska snow storms. Keeps me warm, dry, and is windoroof. Built in neck gaiter comes in handy

I love this jacket! It's super warm stylish and comfortable! Just to give an idea to others, I'm 6'3 185 quite slim build and I got the XL, which is an awesome fit. In fact I have enough room underneath for an extra layer. The sleeve length is great, for tall guys such as myself the XL is a great choice in my opinion.

This is a great jacket for on the go people. This thing will keep you warm and dry. If you're going to buy a jacket, do it right the first time. It's built to last.

The fit is true to size and the jacket seems to be very well made with a stretch knitted cuff inside the sleeve to keep cold air out and with plenty of pockets.

I have read some reviews that said the jacket ran large, but I found that not to be the case. I am 43 inches across the chest and somewhat fit and a large is perfect. There is room for a sweater underneath as there should be. It is spring so I cannot cold weather test it yet, but in wearing it in the house , I heat up fast because it traps so much body heat when zipped to the top. It is well made as you would expect from north face, and it is a good looking coat . I bought it for next winter and it was half price, so a bargain for north face. It is a substantial coat so don’t expect and packable type puffer jacket but I don’t find it heavier than my Billy Reid pea coat. And the hood with detachable fur will add a lot of warmth. Bought this as an every day coat in the cold midwestern winter. Considered buying a canada goose coat but opted for the Northface for the quality and warranty. This specific coat fits very well, I am 6' tall, 180 pounds and ordered a medium size coat. It fits closely but not tight to help keep warmth in and cold out. really like the styling, the built in face cover that is inside the hood, zippers, pockets all well placed. the quality of the coat construction is quite evident.

This item is heavy weight but meant for cold weather. Highly recommended for anyone who has to be on foot in very cold weather for long periods of time.

Great looting products, warn as can be here in the Florida Keys. Can not wait to get to Colorado to test it!

I got this jacket as a gift, and I'll admit, I was worried about hot it would fit. I'm 6'4", and generally prefer to find stuff in tall sizes. In other brands, a large tall fits perfectly. But the XL on this is perfect. The body and sleeve length is perfect for me. And it's a good looking coat. I love the fur around the hood, and I prefer the snaps on that over a zipper. But frankly, I'm never taking the fur off. It's going to be great for walking windy city streets when it's 20 degrees.

Excellent for when the weather gets colder, it will be great to use next winter season.
