I live in northern vermont where the winters have been especially brutal this year. I have walked in -8 degrees and felt like I did before I walked outside. This jack really is weather proof, I have another north face jacket which I use for skiing and it has the windwall and its great for skiing but not walking around. After switching to the Gotham I have never been so warm my girlfriend tried it on and she has the Canada goose pea coat and said it was way warmer than her jacket. Way to go north face I also learned about buying this jacket North Face created the responsible down standard.

It has been 20-30F below zero here lately (MN) and this kept me toasty throughout. Fantastic.

Really enjoy this coat. I live in MN so the winters are in the negatives of degrees Fahrenheit and i remained warm.

Would like zippers or velcro on the pockets. Not a deal breaker

Love this jacket. Warm. Wind-proof. Hooded. Built-in face mask. Cuffed sleeves. Smooth zipper. Perfect for walking the dog in winter. High quality garment. Looks nice. I live in the northeast, never been cold wearing this. Room for improvement but not deal breakers: hood is slightly large (I roll mine back when I need to have it up) and there are no reflective surfaces on the jacket (I added some to make myself visible at night). Highly recommend.

Perfect for very cold days. Dog walks are much more comfortable with this on.

I love this jacket. I work outdoors 8 hours a day w a 1 hour commute each way. This jacket keeps me insulated against the cold and the wind. I would buy it again

My husband loves it! Keeps him very warm even when windy. Comes with an attached face cover which is super helpful in covid times and just in general to keep warm in extreme weather.

This jacket is incredible. Lightweight but warm, thick but fitting. The Gotham jacket is perfect, especially when it's freezing outside but you still want to go play with your dog in the snow. North Face has made an extremely comfortable and stylish jacket that has kept me warm during these crazy winter storms.

I was looking for a super warm coat where I didn't have to wear a sweatshirt underneath and this jacket is amazing! I have worn it down to 15 degrees Fahrenheit and it's been super warm. Super glad that I got thi jacket. I love the built in face shield that's in the hood.

Living in the Northeast, This jacket keeps me warm and dry in the midst of ice and snow. The neck warmer is a great feature. Seems to run a little big.

All around use in the city or hiking in the woods. Looks great, and warm, even in temps. below 20F. It feels a bit heavy & bulky when you pick it up, but not once you have it one.

This is my main winter coat. It is very warm and stylish. It's also the same coat a local TV news station uses for this reporters in the field.

This jacket was worn by my son during a ski trip in Utah. This was the jacket he wore the entire time while on the trip! It is very versatile. Can be worn on and off the slopes. Very fashionable and comfortable jacket while keeping you warm.
