Very comfortable stylish I bought it for my god son he is loving it, great jacket

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and I am simply impressed. I live in a very cold place and I have never been cold, never! It could be raining, snowing, anything... this parka is awesome. Consequently, buying another one would be a huge mistake!

I travelled with this jacket in winter (Feb) to Finland and Lapland, and I am very glad that I chose this jacket after reading loads of reviews.With the appropriate base layers, this jacket is very warm and suits cold weather. Long and appropriate length. I would really recommend people who are looking for stylish and warm down jacket. It is heavy and bulky, but it provides warmth.

Really warm coat for the cold days. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a durable coat.

Before I buy this, I considered other brands such as Patagonia and Columbia, but couldn't find the one like this product has such a nice design and keeps warmth. Also, it is cheaper than other products.

Perfect for Midwest winters

I needed a warmer longer jacket for the winter where I wouldn't have to wear multiple layers....When wearing special clothes for a film or commercial work out side in the winter, it's easy to pop the coat on and off just prior to shooting.....Multiple layered jackets wouldn't work....I've worn it twice in some November cold weather and it kept me very warm...Plus the parka is so comfortable....Great purchase....I'm 5'10" 44 chest and 195 lbs....A large fits me perfectly...

Our Southern California son is in his first year at college in Michigan. This year saw record breaking early snow and cold weather, and I sent him this parka. He told me "this parka saved my life"! The warmth and wind protection stands up to cold Michigan weather.

I was a little worried about the color "British Khaki", as I normally get the black, but once I received it, I was sold.

I just received the parka this week, and I'm already loving it. What really sticks out to me is how comfortable the coat is. My favorite feature of the coat is the built in face mask in the back of the hood.

Extremely warm and stylish. My wife loves the way it looks too. Great for cold and rainy weather. But also looks great to wear out.

I need to know that no matter what Wisconsin winters throw at me, I can be warm and cozy in my coat. If I'm warm, I'll get out in the weather and enjoy it. If I am not utterly content with my winter coat, I will dread going outside. This coat makes me feel cozy enough to hang out on the front porch and read the paper while the snow plows scrape by. It makes me confident about greeting winter and that is no small thing. Thank you ,North Face!

Bought this for trekking across campus in northern Iowa cold winters. It keeps me very warm and looks stylish too. I love it!

I wear this jacket when the weather is very cold outside. It's the perfect jacket for extreme cold weather, especially when it snows or rains outside. I like how it fits me well, and looks good on me. The only downside is that it can restrict me from moving my arms and my waist.

It is very good. Petty strong. I am planning to wear it for all my winter in the mid-west.

Really comfortable

This parka was purchased for my Texas kiddo going to school in Chicago.

I'm from Texas where it's really hot and moved recently up north for college and was dying of the cold but now I'm able to go outside and feel warm. Better yet I love how I can use this parka as a winter coat and a rain coat so I don't have to buy multiple coats. This parka is also very good against strong winds.

My original Mcmurdo is nearly 10 years old and still looks great. It could probably last 20+. Which led me back to buying it once again. I wanted a different color and a new jacket in general. I live in NYC and it can be cold for 5-6 months. You can literally wear a T shirt under this jacket in 15 degrees and you will be toasty. You can wear this in rain, sleet and snow and it will hold up. I even wore my original in a hurricane one time. The pockets are always nice. You can hold a decent amount in them. The hood looks nice too. North face typically delivers excellent quality. Which is hard to come by in today's world. Overall phenomenal jacket. Look forward to many great times ahead wearing this jacket.

I buy McMurdo parka every year. Navy is only available in North Face. It's light weight but definitely weather proof!! He was extremely happy with his jacket
