Warm body, not too bad when our weather is -30. My arms feel cooler then my body though. I'm not sure how I'll do being outside for long periods feeling like my arms are cool.

Stylish and warm, can't beat it. I love the length and am glad it doesn't ride up as I walk (which is a problem I've experienced before with longer jackets). I'm 5'8'' 160 lbs and the M fits well and is a little snug on the shoulders but the coat is so warm I don't feel the need to layer too much. The pockets are a little small for all the random stuff I try to stuff in there but being a more fitted look, that makes sense. I like the green color and is nice to have among the see of black coats this time of year.

I loved the fit of this jacket however it did seem less puffy when I ordered online versus the one I tried on in store. Even though I was told it was one of the second warmest parkas they had in store it did not seem that warm to me compared to an older parka that is 3 years old.

Great feel to parka. It is slightly tighter than expected, but still feels good. Hope it keeps me warm for super cold weather.

Cute coat- didn't like the navy blue color. The fabric looked a little shinny but the heather gray is perfect

Background Info:
I live in the south end of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. I've worn this coat through temperatures of 3-10C. B-W-H measurements: 85-70-90. Height: ~ 170cm. Previously I wore an EB, but their coat didn't fit my torso well and had too much dead space to heat.
Layering configuration:
Usually a base layer / long sleeved t-shirt only. An added down vest or fleece jacket (but not both) is used for temperatures < 4-5C. The slim-fitting size S won't accommodate >1.5 mid-layers.
Coat Fit & Features:
The size S has sleeves that fit my monkey arms, and the centre-back sleeve length should fit someone needing about 84cm. The overall fit felt slim, but it suited my measurements, and it felt appropriate for the layering needs associated with this climate without having the fabric flap about and suck in cold air. I have unusually wide shoulders, so my arm mobility is limited as a trade-off for the good torso-fit, and it is most pronouncedly felt when a fleece jacket is worn over the base layer. The high collar rubs annoyingly on my chin, and it feels chokingly stiff when tucked under the jaw.
Performance:
When wind conditions are calm/mild, this coat can stand up to low temperatures. But when they aren't, the wind can be felt seeping in through the torso-area zipper and the arms (which I think skimp on the insulation). In TNF's defence, with this coat I do avoid/limit layering. Although one has to wonder why that should be necessary with such a high-promise coat in such a mild winter. Overall, I still feel cold when idly waiting for the bus. That said, when I'm briskly walking, I don't feel the chill quite as badly.
Final Thoughts:
Based on my experience with this coat in this region, I think I'm just about satisfied with this coat's performance. However, I highly doubt that the Arctic Parka II will perform quite as well as others have said it does in harsher winters, which would make this coat not quite as versatile an investment as I had hoped it would be.

Love the product. The way if fits and looks is amazing, however, the fit was a bit disappointing. It fits smaller than expected

Me being a small person a xs was still slightly too big around the torso area but fit fine everywhere else! I tried it once on a small errand run and it kept me warm the whole time! But the weather was only semi-cold so I don't know how warm it'll be when winter actually comes. But hopefully it'll keep me warm enough~

Wanted to try a parka but am a little heavy so was worried about looking like a marshmallow. Went to the North Face store at the mall to try on coats. This one was warm, soft, versatile and the most flattering. They didn't have the Outer Boroughs jacket in the store...that one also looked nice and well cut, but was much more expensive. So I ordered this one in the heather grey after confirming the fit in the store's navy blue.
Also was curious about the red but I think the grey matches more of my cute hats and scarves.
Like the fit and the zipper works from below to make it an easier sit in the car.
Only thing I would design differently: pockets aren't insulated in the front (do have down at the back). Without gloves, hands could potentially get pretty cold in the front pockets.

Comfortable warm parka. I would like a greater variety of colors and a denser upper fabric.

My original Artic Parka had torn inside on a seam, and feathers started pilling everywhere, so I needed an update. My original lasted 7 years and I was truly impressed with it, so I was happy to order the upgraded Artic Parka II. The style and fit are virtually the same. There are two differences I noticed: The original was ever so slightly longer (maybe an inch or two). The upgrade comes down to my mid thigh (I'm 5'7"), so I am happy with it. But those extra couple inches were nice, without being super long. The upgrade's hood is a little bit wider. I have yet to test the coat in the wind, but I fear that it being loose around my ears, I would still need a hat to keep me warm. In all, the coat has a nice slim fit, is a good length, and is warm. If it's anything like the previous version, the quality is also good and is a nice investment. Prior to switching to North Face, I had department store down coats, and they really don't compare to these. In the Chicago winds, these coats truly make a difference.

Its fits a little weird, right at the waist, hip and cest, but too big right under my chin. BUt that's where I'll tuck in the ends of my scarf so I guess it's ok,
