I love the length of it and it's super warm

Perfect length. Keeps your lower body warm. I really wanted an Canada goose but I'm glad I went with this jacket instead, I saved a bunch of money and it's exactly what I was looking for. I usually am a Medium and went with a Large to be able to wear sweatshirts underneath. Glad I did. Medium would have been a little snug. Absolutely love it and I get so many compliments. I'd buy it a million times over

I was skeptical with the jacket thinking it would be too bulky and heavyweight however, it was none of those things. It's warm and fits perfect and it looks super cute!

Great for cold wet or snowy football games.

This was a gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it! Comfortable and flattering. We only wish it had a couple more pockets either on the inside or outside.

Beautiful, perfect coat. It is not extra roomy. I usually wear a size 10, am bumping into a 12 and the Large was not roomy, but did fit. Other larges are roomier on me, allowing extra layers, which I do like when I throw my coat on quickly a few times a day to take the dog out while I may already be wearing a fleece, for example. But the styling helps the waist look trimmer (than it is ;) and I love the the dip in the back. The blue is not a dark navy, but a medium blue. I'm returning because my husband surprised me at the holidays with a different coat, but this is a top notch coat for its price.

I wear outside everyday

I am so excited about this jacket, it's what I've been looking for! It is very sleek looking with the same warmth and comfort of something that might be bigger and bulkier. I would say I'm normal between medium and large in sizes and sizes up so that I'll have room for bulkier sweaters or layers underneath if needed. It fits great and is very comfortable, if absolutely recommend this jacket to anyone!

I specifically bought it for when the temps really drop and thankfully that hasn't happened yet so I can't say how well it functions in freezing weather. But, I can say that it's been in the 30s-40s these last few days and I was very warm wearing this. I would definitely suggest still wearing one more layer in between, which is something I was trying to avoid when I bought this. Either way, so far it's been great.

Great coat for all cold weather

I have been buying Columbia for the past 25 years and this coat suits me better. I'm 5'5" so the length is a touch too long. The only coin is that the zipper is plastic. I haven't been in temps below 20 yet but it has kept me very comfortable so far. LOVE this coat!

I've only this coat for a day and it's only been worn once but as soon as I tried it on, it seemed perfect! The fit is right on. The zipper and even the snap buttons seem very sturdy and durable. I specifically like the height to which the zippered collar goes, I can tuck my face down and it's mostly covered which will be perfect for someone who is always cold with colder weather coming. I also enjoy the sleeves with the tighter fit cuffs; it was a little more snug when trying to tuck my gloves under the cuff but since they're such a tighter fit than most other coats I've had that seems like it will not be an issue as they'll cover and keep wrists warm and cold air out. The style of the material used, fur on the hood that can be removed, and the length are also positives for why I chose this coat. Overall, I'm loving it in just the short time I've had it.

This jacket is great for the winter! It keeps me so warm. I cannot wait to wear this jacket in the snow. It is great quality and lasts a very long time.

I own or have purchased many TNF items. I read the reviews and one listed her statistics and she suggested sizing up. I went the suggestion size from the size chart which was my normal size. However, if you want the wear layers I suggest that you size up. I reordered this coat the same day. The color was a nice change.

I suggest you size up. Very form fitting. I love this coat. Got lots of compliments in the city of New York.

Perfect for winter and stylish

Love this coat! I'm a loyal North Face customer so I wouldn't consider any other brand. this coat totally meets my needs. I'm always cold but not with this coat. It's just right without weighing me down.

For almost 20 yrs I have been wearing North Face gear and I have always been satisfied with the level of comfort, style and warmth. 20 yrs later I'm still happy to be making another purchase..but this time for my wife. Her first North Face coat for the holidays and I cant wait to see the smile on her face as it literally warms her body. Good job North Face!

I really love this jacket. I'm excited to wear it now that the weather is getting colder.

As a DC train commuter 5 days a week, I need a heavy-duty warm coat to combat the weather and my DC commute. WOW, this coat wins! I feel like my entire body is in a glove when I put it on. The coat is so warm but also light.. its magic. It is well worth the price and a favorite in my closet.

I love this jacket! It is a bit slim in the hips so if you are bigger in the hip area size up. I am pretty short (5'2) so the sleeves fit me perfect but they may be too short on a taller person. Very warm and comfortable. It is a bit heavy of a coat but the warmth makes it worth it.

I got a XXL and I am 5'7 about 240. I have a very proportional body so this is great for me!
