Fall, Winter, Spring, Rain, Snow, or Clear chilly weather, this 3 in 1 coat covers it all! Columbia's designers thought of everything with this coat! From fleecy lining inside the hood, detachable hood fur, the hand cover extensions of the inner jacket sleeves, the strategic snaps to further connect non zippered areas of the jackets, to details like flap covers over the internal zipper hardware! The manufacturing quality is incredible! So well made! And the fit/silhouettes are perfection. Although the 3 in 1 is not bulky or weighty at all, the technology used provides snuggy warmth ta boot! This is the perfect coat to tote when headed out on long term far away travels. You and your 3 in 1 will be prepared for whatever weather comes your way on your trip!

Love this jacket. Insert is perfect as stand alone. Trim fit but not tight. Great for wearing with jeans. Outer jacket is good alone also. Walking in woods, hiking. Together lightweight and warm for snow adventures. Only wish zipper on insert jacket unzipped from bottom.

Love this coat. It is exactly what I was looking for. I can layer it according to the temperature I'll be in. I have worn both separately and together. The interchange between is fairly simple. One wish would be petite sizes since the sleeves are a little long on me.

Perfect fit and warm! Zipper sometimes has issues starting to zip. Pockets in good places.

This 3-in-one coat is so comfortable and warm. The inner jacket can be zipped out and warn separately and the shell can be warn alone as well. Very versatile!

Love this coat! I bought this coat in the color Dusty Crimson. I was so happy with the color. It is actually more of a Dusty Salmon color. Just beautiful! The coat is very well made and has lots of nice features, and is super warm, and fits great! I would highly recommend this coat.

I purchased both a medium and a large since my weight is currently borderline, and while the large was quite roomy, the medium was extremely tight. I was a little shocked at how different they were... settled into the size L now and very happy with warmth, comfort and look. :-)

I have been looking for a winter coat for a while and this one is perfect! It's warm, not heavy, not bulky with plenty pockets. It's the ideal blend of function and style. I wear size 4 or 6 and the medium was perfect with enough room for big sweaters but it doesn't look bulky. If you like a tighter fit, small would work too.

Great coat. I love the color, warm enough for Alaska winters with extra layers underneath. The only thing I wish is that the zipper was not a bi-directional

It took me weeks to find the right jacket to buy for my winter trip to Alaska. I ended up choosing this one based on the features and I am so glad I did. It was -35 degrees one night in Fairbanks and this jacket did it's job keeping me warm!

This is the best engineered winter coat I have ever purchased. Waterproof shell, zip in quilted liner that looks like a "Puff" jacket when worn alone, Polar Fleece softness inside the hood, with removeable faux fur edging. Also love the reflective lining that holds in body heat. And has thumb loops at end of sleeves to keep cold wind and snow out of your sleeves! There is reinforced double-layer fabric at the elbows to extend wear of the coat. In warmer temps, you can zip out the lining, remove the fur and wear it as a rain jacket. I am very happy with this coat. I wear a size 12, ordered the large and it is roomy enough for a sweater underneath without being too big on its own.

Love this coat, kept me warm ice fishing in MN! Only bummer is the zipper is a little difficult to thread and gets stuck.

I absolutely love this jacket! I am usually between an M and an L (38-33-38), and an M fits very well - fitted, without being tight, and not at all frumpy (I hate frumpy). I haven't tried to wear tons of layers under it since it doesn't get too cold where I live, but a long sleeve + light sweater or one bulkier sweater fits fine under it. I ordered the coat online, and I would say the Black Cherry colour is true to what it looks like on the screen. I love that the inner jacket can be worn on its own, as I have ended up wearing it solo a lot. I haven't had the chance to wear it below 20F as it does not get super cold wear I live, but it has kept me very warm in the 20s so I imagine it would do well in colder temps too. As per usual with Columbia, the quality is excellent and I imagine this coat is going to last me a long time. I 100% recommend this coat!

Very warm... Only downside is there are no inner pockets. There is a bit of shedding with the fur part of the hood.

This is a good quality, warm coat that fits great! I like that you can cinch the waist and it has a good size hood. The coat seems water proof or at least water resistant. I also love the came color! I am 5'5" and 155 lbs and the size Medium fit perfect.

This is like a 3 in one coat. It is very warm. What I like the most is the zipper up from the bottom and 4 pockets. So when I go walking I can carry my phone, keys, change purse and tissues. It looks great and washes well.

I love this jacket. The length is great! The color and the lines going through it are a change of just the plain fabric. I also like the thumb holes on the inside jacket that helps keep the wrists warm.

I bought this coat for my wife for her birthday. She loves it! She can wear the liner & on days it's actually cold just zip the liner in & she is warm & dry. It blocks the wind well and it has kept her dry in some heavy morning rains. She really loves the length of the coat. It fits true to size(she's 5'6 & 120). Thanks Columbia for a great product & quick shipping!

I bought this coat for general use and for a trip to Colorado - not to wear skiing but to wear every other time. It is pretty much perfect. I am 5'5" #135 and curvy on top. I got a M and it's roomy enough to wear a thick sweatshirt underneath. I love that the inner puffer jacket is removable - it's basic black but I can wear it alone for walking the dog in 40 degree weather (I live in coastal NC). The shell is windproof and while I haven't worn it without the puffer liner, it was 19 degrees the other morning with 25 MPH winds and I did not feel cold. I have a small head so being able to adjust the hood is important. I tightened the cords to made the diameter smaller, then the buckle on the back of the hood and now it sits properly on top of my head without covering my eyes like most hooded coats do. The faux fur is okay - It's soft enough and looks cute so I've left it alone. I love the thumb holes to keep cold air out of my sleeves, and I love that there are pockets everywhere! There are 5 external pockets on the shell and zippered pockets on the puffer liner. The ONLY thing I don't like is that on the outer shell the pockets are accessed from the top, not the sides. I like to slide my hands into pockets to keep them warm and the angle of entry is a little odd. The puffer liner has side entry pockets, which to me is the "right" way to have useful coat pockets. They did put a nice fleecy feeling lining into one of the coat pockets, but it's closed with a zipper so if your hands are bare they have to slide by a scratchy zipper. The wrists of the outer shell also have adjustable snaps to seal out even more cold air. The neck under the hood has loops and snaps to seal up your face, however if I have a thick scarf on I am unable to close it up. I LOVE that is has an drawstring in the waist so I can pull it in just a bit for a more feminine look and not look so boxy as most coats tend to do. The length comes just over my bottom so it does a great job keeping the essentials warm. The outer shell coat zipper is a little bit of a pain to connect, but I see that the zipper can unzip from the bottom so I could see that being useful to wear when sitting so you don't have a bunched up coat in your lap - I haven't tried this so can't review it. It was 10-25 degrees outside when I was wearing it in CO and I stayed warm when walking around (esp. paired with the Columbia Crystal Cavern pants!) I didn't wear this skiing; I have a different jacket specifically designed as a ski jacket. I love olive green, but this coat is definitely more brown than olive, but not totally brown. I would take away .5 of a star for the lack of side entry pockets, but other than that, this jacket has been perfect for me and my needs and I highly recommend this jacket.
