Keeps me warm and dry. The arms and upper body are a bid loose. However, the 3X fits like a 3x. I love how it is not bulky yet it is still warm. The hat is great to have. It is a bit staticky though. Overall a good coat. Not the most attractive but functional and warm for UT winters.

I originally ordered this jacket in an XL in black but the jacket seems to run small. I have two other Columbia jackets in XL and they fit perfectly. When I returned the XL to size up they were all sold out of every color with the exception of Astral. It is a very pretty color but if you are someone, like me, who tends to spill a lot, especially coffee, this is not the jacket for you. I have had this jacket since November and have had to have it cleaned 3 times since then since everything shows. Other than it picking up every stain, the jacket is super warm even without layers and does really well with wind and rain.

Love the beautiful color and the soft feel of the coat. Tried one on in the store that was a different color and it fit perfectly. Ordered the color I wanted and when it got here, I couldn't even zip it.

Love the jacket as far as it being warm and light weight. It fits just right across the chest and good arm length, however, it rides up my back. Not to say it's small, but maybe just a little short. I am constantly pulling it down, back over my behind.

Nice light weight but warm coat. I was looking for a coat that wasn't big and bulky yet still warm. I found it. Really like this coat.

This coat will be the perfect protection to help winter go fast. It was a bit big for me, but may be helpful with thick sweaters.

First, this jacket is adorable and light weight. I ordered the rust color. No regrets on the color it's exactly what I expected it to be. Unfortunately, it's not quite cold enough here yet for me to comment on how well the jacket actually works for the winter months. The main "issue" I have with this jacket is that according to the size chart this jacket should technically be a little snug on me. Instead, I could do multiple layers underneath. I definitely could've sized down and saved myself $20. I will probably purchase again next year, if possible, in a smaller size. ALSO, thumb holes!!

This jacket is cute but, on me the arms were a little long and didn't fit how I expected it to fit. It's a little loose on me as well, might return for a smaller size! I'm between a XL and 1X with Columbia jackets. So, if you are a 1X I'd get an XL.

Jacket fits nice but not as warm against the wind as a interchange jacket.

This jacket fits well in the body, but the arms are too small. It is a warm coat, but lightweight. I like that it is slightly longer in the back. It would be perfect if you could make the arms bigger. It seems to be a common complaint in the reviews of the majority of your jackets. I love that you offer plus sizes, but you need to address this issue.

great length, very warm but the nylon thread around the zipper at the neck is sharp and scratches my neck.

The jacket runs small. They should offer bigger sizes.

Jacket fit fine in the shoulders, however, it was too tight in the tummy area. I would not be able to layer anything under it for warmth. I am returning it and hoping Columbia realizes plus size ladies need a little more room in the tummy area.

So the coat is ok. Do I think it could be better yes for New England weather. However I did put on a hoodie and long sleeve shirt it was warm enough but at the same time I purchased this coat so I wouldn't have to wear all of those layers. Also I feel that an exchange policy should be in place especially if I'm not happy with my size. I just really don't understand why I can't exchange something for a bigger size rather than buying a whole new purchase. Don't like it and won't be buying another.

I read that this coat runs small so I ordered a size up and received a very boxy coat that lacks the flattering shape of the item photo. The thermal lining may keep one warm but it sure is ugly (shiny foil is visible if the zipper is undone at all). The only color I preferred had sold out quickly so I did not have the option of exchanging for a smaller size to see if it had better fit/shape. Coat was so lightweight that I doubt it would stand up to real winter wind chill or a decent amount of rain. Outer material and Nocturnal color were nice but overall I'm disappointed that what is marketed as a winter coat would not be useful for Upstate NY winters.

I bought this jacket in Nov. 22, and already the zipper comes apart at the bottom of the jacket. This is the 3rd jacket we bought from Columbia that have Cheap Zippers in them that pull apart which is frustrating after you spend a lot of money on what use to be good quality jackets. Not sure what is happening to Columbia's products! The jacket is great otherwise.

Gave this 2 stars because it is comfortable and fits nicely. However, if you are looking for a jacket to keep you warm this is not it. Very disappointed in this purchase especially for the price I paid.

Jacket is nice, but to open in bottom to hold heat

It a great jacket for the cold months coming up...I have had the Omni-heat before and love that it keeps u warm with a light coat.. Did take a long time after receiving to wrong jacket the first time.. but after getting it I am in With it

This jacket is too thin and is not warm. For a lightweight jacket it would work but not for a heavy coat in the snow. It runs a tad snug. Would recommend ordering a size up. Debating whether to send back. The color is pretty just not warm enough and too thin.

I brought this coat because it said it you keep you warm it been cold here in Pennsylvania and i was coat and it did not warm me up I have to used a sweater and hoodie sweater to keep me warm it still didnt I would not reccomed this coat waste of money don;t buy it
