I'm really satisfied with my purchase of this coat in size medium. I really like the thumb hole cuffs. I have long arms so this is a big benefit. The weight of this coat is just right. Not too bulky but not too thin. Have not worn it in the rain yet, so not sure how waterproof it is. The outer fabric is pretty thin, I think it could snag easily, flattering feminine fit.

This coat is so warm and not bulky at all which is always a huge concern of mine. It's super stylish as well. I love this coat!!!!

I've only had this on in 40 degree weather but it kept me warm! I think it would be needed to wear a sweatshirt underneath in really cold weather though. It's super light weight and it has amazing quality.

This coat is very warm and lightweight. It runs true to size. I am usually a small, but I got a medium so there would be room to layer underneath. I have not tried this coat below 30 degrees yet, but I think it will be very warm.

I absolutely love this jacket! It's warm and the wind doesn't go through it on the incredibly windy days in Nebraska. I can layer without it being too bulky but, I dont often layer the jacket is so warm i dont need too. Whe. I travel it's the only jacket I take!!! I love it!!!

I purchased the Heavenly long length coat last year and this short version is just as perfect as the long one! The cut is flattering, I am 128 lbs., 5'5'' with a small frame and Size S is a perfect fit. Sleeve length is true to fit. This jacket is warm and not bulky - very lightweight. The zippered pockets sit at the right spot to comfortably put your hands into. The hood is a comfortable size - enough to cover to the forehead yet does not hang into your eyes. The 27" drop tail back length was a selling point for me because it covers your 'backside' just enough to keep you warmer! Zipper is easy to use - although when sitting it is a little bit snug at the thigh area. This jacket will take me from fall into winter.

This is a very well made jacket. I have not put it to the test of a Kansas winter yet. I purchased this jacket because it is light weight and more practical running errands and shopping. The sleeves are perfect without being too long. I'm 5'1" 110 pounds. There's plenty of room to wear over layers. I love the black cherry color, very rich looking!

well made and quality material

I have been a fan for a while and currently own 7 Columbia jackets or coats. I really like the fact that the winter coats I have purchased are filled with synthetic 'down' or are the Omni Heat, which need no more insulation. I love the fact that all are machine washable.

So happy! I bought this jacket for a fall trip to Germany and then Iceland. The jacket is very lightweight yet warm. It looks quite stylish on its own for my Germany/France/Netherlands cruise, and will be a welcome underlayer with my waterproof hooded Columbia jacket while outdoors in Iceland. The hood has a snuggly fleece liner, and the sleeves and body of the jacket have thermal reflective material to boost warmth. The fit is nice, since I went up a size to ensure I could comfortably wear layers under the jacket.

Awesome jacket, lightweight but keeps you warm! I am 5"4' and weigh 145 lbs, and I wear a medium. I love the jacket so much, I bought a second one. I also bought the hooded heavenly long. Love both jackets.

I LOVE the Black Cherry color! Admittedly we haven't had the temp here necessary to break out this jacket, but I know it will be a go to piece! Just trying the jacket in the house the omni heat is going to keep me nice and toasty!

Very fitted, a little too puffy for my body, and sleeves too long. I really need a petite size but it's not offered in these jackets, so tried a regular small. Returned for different style.

Love this jacket, it is so comfortable and fits great. It runs a bit small so I got it a size bigger so I can layer it in the winter. I haven't worn it in the cold yet, but really hoping it holds up!

My family is military and we are moving to Alaska the year! The whole family needed some good quality winter coats. As soon as I tried it on, I instantly started to sweat. I do wish I would have gone up a size only because when I put a fleece under it, it's a bit tight. Not uncomfortable, But Going up a size would have made it a bit roomier. I can't wait to break this out in a few months! We definitely will be coming back to Columbia for winter gear. Can't beat them or their prices!

I bought it for my wife and she loves it, a little longer than usual and hot as useful for the cold spring. It is great for the ladies.

This jacket is well worth the money true to size light weight highly recommend.

Hmmmm...I love the design. The stitching is slenderizing rather than typical horizontal stripes, which make me look short and fat. The hood has a minky lining that is extra warm and soft. I love the thumb holes. Problem--the body is kinda big, and the sleeves are TOO SHORT. I almost exchanged the medium for a small, but I knew the sleeves would never work. I wish there was a draw string on hood and at the bottom, since the jacket runs big. Drawstrings could help block wind when I'm hiking. I'm only 5'3" (135#). If you are taller, the sleeves will likely be short for you, so you won't be able to take advantage of the cuff with thumb holes.
