Warmth without the bulk and totally pack able. Love the longer length in the back! 5'6" athletic medium fits perfect and room for sweater or layers.

super cute and I think would work great as a top layer. I wore with a T-shirt on a cold night and it didn't keep me warm when I was just sitting and I was cold but worked great when I was moving around. Also I think would be great with an under layer but definitely size up for that as it was a tad more trim than I expected.

I love my new jacket! It's lightweight and still very warm! My favorite feature are the thumb holes. I ordered a size larger to wear over winter clothing and the fit is perfect!

Love this coat! It isn't too puffy and super warm. Love it so much I have two. One for farm chores and one for going to town. The extra fabric around the hands helps keep hands extra warm! Highly Recommend! Great price too!

I have this jacket in the long version as well! It is warm but light weight. It gives you plenty of room to put layers underneath. I love the way it looks and it is very flattering! I will most likely be getting more colors!

I love this jacket. Very warm and has the nice puffy look without being bulky. The warm fleece in the hood looks really nice and is cozy. I might buy it in black as well.

This is the best jacket ever!!!! I brought this jacket for my mother who is a senior. The cuffs with tumbholes is perfect for the elderly as they keep their hands warm if they don't want to put on gloves whiles riding in a car. The Omni heat lining keeps them warm without sweating or overheating. The elastic around the sleeves also keeps air from going up the arm while walking outside. I highly recommend this jacket, short to long.

After reading several reviews on this jacket, I decided to order a small and crossed my fingers that it would fit. I am 5'6, 140 lbs and chest 34C. The sleeves and body of the coat were snug and EXTREMELY flattering! It's a little longer in back and the sleeves were long enough to keep my hands warm. My only complaint is that it was a little tight across my chest. I would suggest ordering up a size if you are large chested. I get compliments every time I wear it! I now have the black one and the dark purple one. It's a puffer coat but not too "puffy" and does the job to keep you warm during the winter. You can't go wrong with this jacket!!

I purchased this jacket for long distance walks and barn chores in the winter. It is warm without being bulky, comfortable and well designed. I especially like the slightly dropped tail and fleece lined hood. There is a left inside chest level pocket for secure storage of your phone and two roomy outside pockets. The inside cuffs which extend to cover the palms can be annoying if you don't need them, but the day I forgot to bring my gloves I was glad they were there! The olive green color is not green but brown, which I prefer. Medium is my usual size and this jacket fit well with room for layers.

I ordered the chalk color and I love it. It is very warm and stylish, not too bulky. My only complaint would be I wish it were more fitted in the stomach area. I feel it's too loose and makes me look larger than I actually am. I may have needed an extra small but I was worried it would be too tight in the shoulders and arms and I want to be able to wear sweaters underneath. Overall a really nice coat! I'm 5'6 and 135 lbs and I ordered the small.

This is my second Omni heat coat and I will never purchase anything different again. The coat is super lightweight but keeps you amazingly warm. It fits snug but is not constricting. Would absolutely recommend time and time again.

as any mom of a teen daughter can tell you they are very picky and on top of it don't even know what they really want.. lol ordered this for Christmas present fully expecting to return it ( just because she would find something to nit pick) To my extreme surprise she LOVES it !! even said that the best jacket I think I have ever had !! So as alwasy Columbia comes through even for the Pickiest teen .. ha ha

So far I'm very happy with this purchase! It fits nicely and true to size and its inner layer does trap heat. The outside material and the hoodie are very soft. Overall very good quality.

I've had this coat for a month and by far my favorite from Columbia so far! It's light weight, warm and waterproof. Perfect for a rain, snow or icy weather. I do recommend sizing down as the arms are a little long. Overall wonderful jacket I recommend it to everyone!

Great jacket, very feminine fit. I have slightly larger upper body and it's hard to find a jacket that fits well on top and isn't too loose on bottom to block cold winter wind. This is a great jacket for that - similar to Columbia's Frostfecta jacket I used to love. Omni-heat is very warm and yet the jacket is slim, makes me feel a lot less frumpy in the wintertime and allows for easy driving. The hand protection built into the jacket is pretty fantastic too. I'm usually between a M and a L for jackets (strong M for shirts), and medium was a nicer fit. Snug but still allowed a thick sweater or a fleece to be layered underneath if needed. Hood is big enough to stay over a hat, but otherwise comfortable. Jacket did show a rip in the seam by the hood within 2 weeks of wear, Zappos customer service was superb and replaced the jacket for me ASAP. A+ service as usual. Second jacket is holding up super well, as expected from Columbia brand.

I bought this jacket for my wife and she loves it. The blue (nocturnal) color is great. Very hard to find this color in retail stores, so I had to order online. The hood is a close fit, so it does not block your view when turning your head. It is also lined with soft fur which she absolutely loves. Most jackets are just nylon lined. Keeps you warm when cold outside and regulated when hot. Only negative was the shipping. There were no daily updates. At one point it said it was going to be late, but did not provide a new date. Luckily it just came before Christmas, but I was nervous.

Waterproof, the omni heat protection technology does its bit. The only hiccup is the size. Its runs a little large so size down. I used this while skiing, and it worked great. Of-course do layer up under this jacket for the warmth to stay intact. Also, the red is not what is shown here, its more darker and duller.

The best coat I've ever owned. I've wanted a coat that wasn't to bulky but warm. This coat is just the right size to wear anytime and functional. The hood is a great feature that I use often. Keeps me nice and warm even in the bitter wind.

The Omni heat line is warm yet not at all bulky. I live the color, fit and design of this jacket. It has the extended cuffs that keep your hands/wrists and arms warm and is the perfect length for both work and play.

This coat is lightweight and very warm, I love that it keeps me toasty without the bulk.
