The jacket is warm but lightweight due to the insulated lining - I think many of the reviews predicting that it won't be good for much below 32F are not taking that into account. I have worn it into the 20s, before we plunged into a deep freeze that calls for my calf-length bulkier coat. This one will be just fine for 20s-40s as far as I'm concerned. My ideal size seems to be somewhere between M & L; I bought L online in this color and it's a bit big on me, but I tried M at a local store that only had it in black and that would have been too small to fit over a thick sweater comfortably, so I'm keeping the L. The zipper tends to rub on your chin if you zip it all the way up, unless you also put the hood up, but there is nothing to secure the hood in the wind so I prefer to wear a hat instead. I don't really see the point of the thumb hole cuffs, as they get bunched up if you put gloves on over them. I generally put my thumbs through just to pull the sleeves all the way down, them slip them out again before putting on gloves. Overall I like this for its looks, quality/warmth, and length.

Had to return, not warm enough. I liked the style. Liked the hood. However, it didn't keep me warm. The night I got it, I wore it outside to test it out. It was 50 degrees, wore it over a t-shirt, but I was cold even with the coat on. It really should have kept me warm at that temp! I tried it again with a warmer shirt under it when it was about 45 degrees. I was still cold (chilly), so I returned it and am looking for something else.

I was kind of iffy on buying this as it looked thin, but it's been in the negatives the last couple of days and this jacket keeps me insanely warm. It's very lightweight and comfortable. Although, I usually wear mediums in clothes, I upsized to a Large in this and it fits perfectly!

This cute baby kept me warm in the January Texas "snow".

Had my first Heavenly Long Coat about 5 years and it was time for new one, so I ordered another one. While this is the most comfortable and lightweight winter coat Ive ever owned, its also surprisingly the warmest! If you dont like the bulk of winter coats but need the warmth, this coat is for you!

I love this coat, but the zipper wont last 2 years. This is the second one Ive purchased and both of them had the same problem with the zipper breaking. It does keep me warm while hiking the snowy Rocky Mountains.

This coat is just what I really wanted, long and warm. Fits well (not tight on the arms), I am 5'9" and the ares are long enough and comfortable. I already had a short car coat ,which I love. That is way I looked for the longer one .

I purchased this coat to replace another similar coat and I have for about 10 years. I love the color. I love the soft plush-like lining in the hood. This jacket is very comfortable and lightweight. I also love the Omni Heat. The main reason I purchased this coat and why I'm a fan of Columbia coats. I know this coat will last me a long time. It was worth my money ten years ago and it is still worth my money.

I am very happy with this coat. It is light weight which I love; I hate a really bulky coat. And it is still nice and warm. This is my second Omni Winter coat. I purchased the first one about 10 years ago if memory serves me right! I absolutely love it. It has some great improvement. The.hood is now lined with nice sherpa material. It is great because when wind flows it wont just flipped back and your hair is alll wet from rain or snow. It runs a little small. I am a.medium but like to have my winter coat to be large. But i find the large fit me perfectly...may be just a little too perfect around the arms area. Nonetheless, I love Omni heat. You can wear a t shirt under this and you still feel quite warm.

As a petite 5'1" gal (108 Ibs) I struggle to find a long jacket that is flattering and not too long. This one fits great with some room to layer under it. For me it hits a few inches above my knees. For colder days I find I still have to wear a sweater underneath to be warm enough. Love the thumbholes on the sleeves and zippered pockets. The Marionberry color is beautiful.

First, this jacket is so soft and comfortable to wear. Secondly, the peach color is surprisingly beautiful. It's like a muted salmon and it doesn't feel too youthful.

This coat is great for those in-between days. It is not bulky and the length is great.

I got a large and it fits perfectly. The color is so pretty. This is a very cozy every day coat that's also very attractive.

i just bought my second version of this jacket. My original I got in 2014 and loved it! Even my old one keeps warm perfectly still I just passed it on as I am not longer the original size. highly recommend for both Chicago winters and Bay Area winters.

I just received the coat. It fits well but I have to say it runs small. I usually wear a size M, I ordered this coat in L and it fits well. The color I picked was faded peach, there is nothing peachy about it. It's more like a terra cotta color. The insulation also seems off.
