This coat is perfect. It is long enough to cover my behind and legs when the cold winter wind is blowing. It is also very warm and stops the wind. I really love that it is down but is not at all bulky. I can easily pack this coat in a suitcase or computer bag. It is super comfortable!!! Love it, so glad I bought it.

Love this coat! Light enough to wear a vest under it but warn. This is the second one I have bought. I have one in Blue and this Light Bisque is wonderful it goes with everything! highly recommend this!

I have been searching for a winter coat for the last month. I have had the same coat for 6 years and it was about time for a new one. I bought and returned 4 coats (1North Face, 2 Eddie Bauer, 1 Sam Edelman). I was looking for a coat that was warm, light weight and covered my bum. I have a curvy figure- and am heavier on the bottom, so most long coats hug my lower half too much and it looks and feels uncomfortable. I definitely wanted more of a fitted look -not boxy- but wanted to be able to move around comfortably. This coat is perfect. I love the comfort cuff with thumb hole, cozy hood and secret internal pocket. Most of all I love the fit, I can move around, sit down, and don't feel confined at all. It is super comfortable. It also gives more of an hour glass shape. Most of the other coats that I have tried on look very boxy. In this one, you can see my waist. I am 5'7, 167, and my measurements are 38, 32, 44. The large fits great!!! I purchased it in Nocturnal- very nice deep dark blue color!

I am loving my new coat! I haven't felt a bit of cold, or wind. It helps that it actually keeps my hands from freezing completely.

I recently purchased this jacket in purple. I love the color. I'am 5.4' and 130 lbs and size medium fits perfect. Looks elegant and of high quality. The inside of the jacket is lined with shining Omni heat thermal reflective technology which gives it a nice look and extra warmth. Hand cuffs provide extra comfort. Overall excellent product with quick delivery.

This jacket matched all my criteria for perfect winter wear. Available in various colors, this hooded long jacket is lightweight and packable, it generates sufficient warmth due to the Omni-shield technology, and has a sleek. slim-fitting look. For below freezing temperatures, I would recommend wearing it over a warm sweater. This jacket is a big thumbs-up and well worth its price.

This jacket is perfect for the college student ! It's trendy and comfortable! Warm but not too hot for those long walls to classes in the cold windy days! My college daughter loves this jacket!

Happy with my purchase I was looking for a lighter jacket that I could wear when the temp is above 20 degrees out. Definitely a good fall or warmer winter day jacket. Very cute I love it. I ordered a XL since I like my clothing to have some extra room for sweatshirts underneath and it works great. I get lots of compliments. I think this product deserves 5 stars in all categories. I am a Columbia devotee, so I can't compare their jackets to other brands. I do think the retail price point for all Columbia jackets I have is quite reasonable for what you'll get. I hope this review helps you decide and that you'll be pleased if you make this choice.

I bought this jacket to keep warm at cold and rainy football games, and it does a great job of keeping me warm and dry. I typically wear large in Columbia items - 5'9", 160 lbs, and this jacket has plenty of room for heavy sweaters.

The jacket is light and warm, just as I was looking for it. It has a perfect inner pocket for the cell phone. I like it very much.

It works great in Portland, OR area where it rains a lot and it keeps me warm.

I have a much worn (into the Arctic Circle and through many Chicago winters) and beloved previous version of this coat and it has seen better days, so I thought it was time for a new one...well, WOW! This coat is even more perfect! I am loving the fleece/furriness inside of the (pockets and) hood - not only is it more cozy but it stays on my head better when I use it! And the thumbhole cuffs are indispensable - I can run out with the recycling or even on a dog walk forgetting my gloves and I am fine. I also LOVE the length. It covers my butt but with the dual zipper, I can even ride my bike to work and I am warm and totally flexible. Seriously the best coat!

When this beautiful coat arrived, I said to my husband 'no way will this keep me warm when it's 20 degrees and snowy outside!' Well, this past week it was 20-ish degrees and snowy and guess what? I was WARM! Hooray! This is first 'car coat' (as my Mother calls it) and it's better than expected. It really covers your bum when you get in a cold car! I ordered the cranberry color, and it is beautiful (and matches with everything!). So far it's holding up in the weather (20s and snow, although it will get colder - but I think this will hold up!). The hood is pretty good - I usually have my hair in a bun, so I always prefer bigger hoods, but this does a good job of covering my bun and my face. The only hiccup is the zipper sometimes, right as you start to zip it. Just pull your coat taut and the issue goes away. I ordered a large even though I'm 5'2 because I expect to put on more clothes (sweatshirts, thicker sweaters, etc.) as it gets colder, and I didn't want the coat to be too tight. It seems like it may still be a little tight, but nothing that's a deal-breaker! TL;DR - this coat is amazing. Get it!

I bought this coat as my first one that is on the longer length. I was worried I would hate the extra bulk around my butt. It is great and is light but keeps me extra warm with the thermal reflective lining. Fits true to size and the sleeve thumb holes are a plus for me as I am very active

The coat fits me very well - I'm 5'9" @140 lbs. The arm length is nice and long, and the sleeve cuffs with thumb holes block cold wind. I've worn it in 23 degree weather with a light fleece sweater underneath and was comfortable. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

For a spur or the moment purchase Columbia has a new life time fan. Every time I wear this coat I find a reason to love it more. From the soft lined hood and pockets, to the contour of the hood to the neckline that keeps me protected from the wind, to the incredible warm lining, the detail in the sleeves where you hand slips into a finger less glove all the way down to the super high quality zipper this is my favorite coat ever. I live in Chicago and walk my dog daily, I need quality outer wear. This coat is truly my Heavenly Dream Come True.

This coat is everything I wanted in a winter coat! It's lightweight and can easily be folded up and stored in a backpack. It has two substantial pockets that zip and one interior breast pocket that also zips! The hood is lined with soft fleece and the rest of the coat is lined with reflective fabric. The inner sleeve portion with the thumb holes provides seamless protection from the cold when you slip on gloves. The length is perfect for blustery, cold days. I wore it to shovel snow and didn't get overheated and sweaty! I'm very happy with this coat. I'm a 58-year-old woman, 5'4" and curvy and I bought size XL which is roomy enough for a sweater/sweatshirt underneath.

Long enough to sit on, if less than 30 degrees add a fleece jacket sand you will be plenty warm.

Bought this for a trip to NYC for Christmas. Got it at a great price Black Friday. Seems to be warm and not too bulky. The true test will be this weekend!
