In total I have purchase 7 of these coats for staff and family! All of them love the coat. They are light and perfect for Ohio weather!!!

I read a lot of the reviews before finally purchasing this jacket, so I want to address some of the things I read about. 1) The double zipper - can be a little tricky to line up every once in a while, but not enough of a problem to make me not want to wear the jacket. 2) Below freezing temps - I'm currently living up in the mountains in Colorado, so our temps are in the single digits most days and there's plenty of snow. This jacket doesn't perform miracles, but it keeps me pretty darn warm. The Omni-Heat feature reflects back your body heat, so if you're already really cold, you're not going to get much out of it. It obviously works best if you put it on before you go out in the cold so you can trap that heat in. 3) Length - I'm 5'8" and the jacket (size S) hits me about mid-thigh. I feel such a difference from the extra coverage. 4) Fit - I wear size small in most brands, so that's what I ordered. It fits well and still has room for multiple layers underneath. Overall, I'm really happy with this jacket. It does a great job without breaking the bank. I've pretty much stopped wearing my others since I got it.

Luv this coat!! Just right length to keep me warm in these New York winters.. not puffy and stuffy.. nice in car when driving , don't feel stuffed in seat belt.. 1 thing that I didn't like is that the zipper gets stuck at the bottom... other than that.... luv

I have compared so many coats, deciding what would be the most practical and at a good price point for weather in Ohio. This coat was exactly what I was looking for. I love the length, the extended hand cuff with the thumb holes, how lightweight it is (biggest plus), the fleece hood and pockets, I could go on! I wish the hood had strings because with big wind gusts it can fall off, but otherwise this is a great coat. I am 5'9.5 and 145 lbs, i usually wear M/L tops and I purchased a large. Its very roomy so I can layer in sweaters or sweatshirts when it gets colder. If you want a snug fit, i'd recommending buying true to your size.

I was happy with the fit (5/1", 107 lb, XS fit well) and primary color of the coat (beet.) The version of this coat at the Columbia site is red where this coat is gray (lining of hood and inner sleeves at wrists) - not a big deal, but I'd prefer the red. The light weight is nice, but I think the omni-heat feature works better for people who generate considerable body heat. As a person who is often cold, this coat did not keep me warm in 45 degree weather when I stood on my porch to try it out.

Love this jacket! It's very lightweight, but still keeps you cozy in cold Chicago winters. I'm fairly short, so it's hard to find long coats that aren't TOO long, and this fits perfectly. I ordered a size up just to fit bulky sweaters, but it doesn't appear to be too big when not wearing that.

Please do yourself a favor and buy this jacket it's amazing light but will deff keep your super warm in a snow storm or outside in the cold weather ! I am buying a second one because I love this jacket so much!!!

This coat is perfect!!! I can never find anything that fits well, I'm 5'7" between a L and XL with long arms. They were out of L in the color I wanted so I ordered the XL. I saw this online purchase as having the potential for a return. I'm so happy I took the gamble, I love it!!! It's lightweight, very warm for northern Michigan winter's, the style is sliming, arm length perfect too. I highly recommend this coat! I will definitely will be ordering another one.

Love everything about this jacket. I live in Michigan so a long 'warm' coat is a must. I'm 5'4" and weigh 118, I normally wear a small but I ordered a medium so I could layer and not worry about it being to tight.

This jacket is nice and light, I love the long cut and plush hood and most of all it's surprisingly warm! I wouldn't rely on it as your serious winter coat if you like to be out in -30F for long, but for my daily walks on moderate winter days or even in my cold office, this is great! I also love the thumb hole sleeves. Fit seems true to size, I like to size up to medium to wear layers and this fits great! Also not tight in the shoulders and the arms are actually long enough. Lastly, it's pretty flattering as it is not bulky and I love the nocturnal color!

Absolutely love this coat! Great length for those that love their bums covered when the weather is cold! The attached hood is terrific! Light weight but super warm. Scrunches up small for travel (I only carry on when flying). So glad I found this coat and the dark cherry color is the "cherry" on top!

This is my new go to coat. Its classy looking, light, comfortable and very warm. I was looking for a coat that covered my rear and this is perfect. Love the feel of its lightweight warmth. The zip pockets are wonderful for stashing my phone, money, keys, etc. Fit is great and true to size. I would recommend for anyone looking for a longer, but yet very easy to wear coat.

This coat is warm, but doesn't feel bulky like a coat!

I had seen 2 friends wear Columbia Omni Heat coats and they both told me how warm and lightweight it was. I hate wearing bulky coats in the winter. Going from indoors to outdoors and being bundled up - going from sweating when in a car and then feeling like a bulked up sumo wrestler when outside! I'm extremely happy with how lightweight this coat is. It's warmth is 'just right' not too hot and not too cold. I'm also getting a ton of compliments on the color. I went with the cream. I usually wear dark color coats so this makes a nice change. I was a little annoyed to see the sale directly after Xmas as I had bought the coat so shortly before. Obviously the sale price would have been better! However it's a lovely coat. I originally bought the size small as some reviews said to size up, but I exchanged it for the size xs and it's fits beautifully with enough room for a sweater underneath. I also like the option of using the cuffs as fingerless gloves. Overall super happy with the purchase!!

My wife was wanting a coat that was not bulky but provided a large amount of warmth for her since she is active while she is outside. This coat fit the bill. She is extremely happy with it!
