I have this jacket in the shorter version and have used it the past two years. I love the shorter coat but when the winds blow I needed something a little longer. I was so glad to find they make my favorite coat in the longer version and having the hood was a pleasant bonus. you can't go wrong with this purchase. our temps sometimes get down to -30 with the windchill factored in. this coat can handle it

Bought this for my 18 y/o daughter and she loves it! She is 5' 8 and 130lbs. Medium was perfect with room for a bulky sweater underneath and arms are perfect length!!! She loves the thumb holes. I'm now going to buy one for myself :)

This coat is amazingly warm! I was skeptical at first because of it’s a thinner coat....I was so wrong! The reflective liner really keeps the warmth in.

This coat is so warm and cozy. It's not thick and bulky. I don't normally don't like to drive with a coat because I feel like I can't move freely with one on. But this one doesn't bother me to drive in. So glad I got it!

I'm 5'4" and the length is perfect! I love the super soft fabric in the hood, the cuffs with thumb holes and the dual zippers that allow you to unzip from the top and/or bottom. We had a high of nine degrees today and paired with the Omni heat gloves I was super warm and cozy.

I absolutely adore this jacket super stylish and super warm! Perfect for windy days too! I wore this jacket for the first time in Napa and stayed warm all day. I love how light it is but it's also very cozy the insulation is perfect

Winter just started with a bang in Buffalo, NY with 10 inches of snow and I have been kept warm and dry so far. Every time I put this coat on I'm instantly toasty. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the double zipper. You have to be careful or else the jacket might break. Otherwise., I'm happy with my purchase. 10/10 would recommend. Also! Bought a size large and it fits as a true large. I can still wear thick sweaters and hoodies and not feel constricted.

This is an amazing jacket! As soon as I tried it, I didn’t want to take it off. I really love the fit, it is very stylish & isn’t boxy or masculine. The neckline is cut so it doesn’t allow wind to get it. I’m not a huge fan of hoods because my hair is quite fine & gets full of static electricity, but the hood hasn’t created any static in my hair at all! The hood is fleece-lined, very warm & I have already used it more than any hood I’ve ever owned before now. The double zipper is great for sitting in the car. I didn’t think I would use the 1/2 gloves, but I really love them! I can’t recommend this coat enough!!

Excellent the color is spectacular

This jacket is perfect for my recent vacation. The hood is very snug (perfect for a windy cold nigh cruise) and the weight is prefect for travel in climate around 35'c. I did dot even need to wear a sweater. A long-sleeve jersey and this jacket kept me happy indoors and outdoors. The jacket has a very clean line that escape the usual puffy look. Good job Columbia !

This has quickly become my favorite jacket! I love the length of the jacket and that the sleeves are long enough (most jackets have such short sleeves). And this jacket keeps me so warm without being too bulky. Is it weird that I want one in every color. Haha!

This is the perfect coat for the northwest ! Warmer than expected - and love the color! Enough room to layer under which is a must here....

I love everything about this coat. It is not bulky but is very warm. It looks and feels great on. My first day to wear it was quite cool, but I stayed warm and comfortable.

I love this jacket for so many reasons! One it's longer than most jackets so it gives an added layer. I really like this one compared to most other winter jackets.

Just bought this jacket a month ago and its so light yet so warm.

This coat is so lightweight and has no bulk like most winter coats. I love the thumbholes too! I did go up a size just because I thought I may wear heavier sweaters, etc. under it. I haven't tested it in very low temps yet, but so far it seems to be surprisingly warm. I can't wait for the colder temps!!

I LOVE this coat! I've worn it during the polar vortex in February 2019 and in the mild weather of fall and everything between. It's kept me perfectly warm. The length is perfect with a dress and with tall boots. I have the purple one and the color is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this coat. It's my favorite. I couldn't wait to get it out when the weather got colder in October.

I love this coat! Living with mid-west weather I can wear this coat late fall to early spring and I am always warm. Super comfortable and very functional. I have two different colors now!

Bought this for my daughter. She loves it! She's 5'2", 112#, wears XS. Fits perfectly. Very flattering shape. The longer length is great - keeps her warm and dry. The thumb holes in the cuff are appreciated! I love it too, might get one for myself.

My daughter who's a college student loves this coat. It's easy to wear around campus and really keeps her warm. It's true to size for her, but when I tried on the one size larger for myself (which I typically wear) it was a little snug, but 2 sizes up was way to big. I think it's overall a little tappered or more slim. The sleeves/cuffs are really nice and love the lining. It's not puffy as well.

I have been stretching my 10+ year-old Lands' End winter coat's use for far too long after the zipper handle broke, then the zipper got increasingly more finicky with a tendency to catch on the fabric, making zipping into and out of my coat an exercise in frustration. Although my old coat still works when zipped, the zipper frayed my nerves, unfortunately. I replaced it with this Columbia coat and, although it doesn't have all of the cinching and extra pockets that my old coat has, it is remarkably lighter, very comfortable, fits well, and does a fine job of keeping me warm. I tested it yesterday by taking a walk in unseasonably cold Autumn weather. (We just had a very snowy Halloween in Chicagoland.) I bundled up with my scarf and gloves and put the hood on, but ended up getting warm enough after a few minutes to go without the hood and uncovered my face as well. I cannot get over how light the coat is. I'm used to the weight of my old coat. I really love the thumbholes that I have only seen on Columbia coats. I have a heavy duty Columbia coat as well, for our Polar Vortex winter days, as I take public transportation to work and also have a connective tissue disorder that leaves me cold when most folks are comfortable. However, on less extreme days, I want a lighter coat that can still keep me warm enough while also repelling wet weather without an umbrella. I am a little nervous that the thin outer material won't be able to take on a rainfall, but I will just have to trust that it will be as water resistant as Columbia claims it is. I will update once I have had a chance to test that feature. Overall, I'm happy with my new coat. It's got what I need, is a great length, zippers all work well, has enough pockets for my needs, and the hood stays on when zipped up to the top. Bonus that the price is not too steep for the quality.

Light yet warm, my only negative feedback is on the silver liner. A bit juvenile.

Already own this coat and love it so much, I bought another - in black. Perfect weight and warmth for Upstate NY Winters. Also, I have little closet space and these coats don't take up much space.

Awesome coat to even shovel snow in! Light weight and warm.
