This jacket is a perfect lightweight coat for winter! The insulation is great along with the length making it perfect for windy winter days. The hood is even insulated as well. Definitely worth the investment!

I hate bulky coats but I also hate cold weather, so this is perfect for most of the winter. Keeps me warm enough and its light and thin. I like the length to keep my legs warm also. I use the short version of this one as an everyday coat and use this longer one for dress up type of occasions.

Love this coat. Very warm. Zippers are easy to close and open with gloves on. Pocket for my phone. I walk my dog in all kinds of weather and this coat makes it fun.

I really needed a jacket badly so I kept this coat but it's pretty thin and not that warm. The pockets are great and it's extra long I would prefer a little shorter.

Purchased this long jacket in black. I have the shorter version in blue and have used and loved it for years. Really like the long version too! Light weight, fits great and comes with the omni heat system which keeps you warm. The double zipper is a little tricky at first, you have to make sure both zippers are all the way down before zipping. I normally wear Medium but in these jackets I get a large. Would recommend this product.

I got this coat to wear in a warmer climate (I'm in Maine but travel to Northern VA). The fit is great, the length is perfect, and I found that it keeps me warm even in the frozen North. It's stylish, not bulky at all, and the Navy color is very nice. I really love the inside cuffs with the thumb holes. I give this coat a great rating!

This is a great jacket. I am from Texas and live in GA but went to NY on 1/16- 1/19 and it snowed and rained. This jacket was perfect for the rain and the snow and kept me exceptionally warm. I didn't want a big bulky jacket because I knew I would be walking everywhere and this was PERFECT. I did a lot of research before I purchased and looked at the reviews from people that lived up north and the reviews were positive. I purchased a small and there is room enough to layer. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. oh and the color looks great!!

I love this jacket! It is a warm, but light jacket. Love there are no feathers to poke you or come out of the jacket, and that it's not bulky. One issue I've had is it doesn't always like to zip. It's been hard to get the zipper started. Sometimes it takes me 15 times to get it in the right spot so I can zip it up. Otherwise a great jacket.

The fit is perfect. The shape is flattering. Warm but not bulky. Love the olive color - goes with everything.

I wanted a coat for the NYC winter that was not bulky, I finally found one! I love the style and it keeps me warm with just a long sleeve shirt (temp outside was in the 30's). This past weekend when it was 22 in NYC, I just put on a sweater under the coat and I was fine.

I had a similar Columbia coat for years that simply wore out from my constant wear. This Heavenly coat is just right. Love the lined hood (stays on head better than other models) and it is just the right weight for Portland weather. The Black Cherry color is beautiful as well and a nice switch from standard black.

I got this jacket because I wanted a lightweight winter jacket that was not super bulky like my down coat. I also really like coats with the handcuffs and thumb holes so this was an easy choice. My first Columbia coat arrived with threads loose in the stitching on the sleeve, and Columbia was able to mail me a replacement with free overnight shipping. The replacement seems to work well in the week since I got it, though if you have single-digit weather or below zero I would certainly recommend layers. It works fine for 20 or 30 degree weather, but like other reviewers say, if you are not very warm when you put it on it may take awhile for you to warm up as your generate more body heat over time. If it is very windy you will need a scarf because the neck does not go up far enough to cover your face. The hood material is very soft and warm and could replace a hat if you want, and I like the soft warm material in the pockets so I do not always have to wear gloves. The interior chest pocket is also pretty big and fits my wallet, phone, and lip balm when I go out.

Fits well, stylish, comfortable. Keeps me really warm. The hood is comfortable (that's not something I can say often!). The thumbhole cuffs are not. They are tight/pull and the fabric is icky, but they do keep me warmer especially if i'm not wearing gloves. As others have said, the zipper can be a pain - but I finally figured out that if I hold on the right and zip with the left, it mostly works smoothly. I wish it came in different colors - the navy blue is dark (and a little boring), and so are all the other colors. Overall, I like jacket. It does the trick, in wind and snow.

I have a couple vests and shorter jacket with omni shield that I wear all the time. Wanted a longer length to cover my backside when I'm on playground duty. Have gotten numerous compliments & it looks and fits great.

This hooded jacket is so comfy and warm it's not at all bulky and has lightweight insulation that has the warmth if a heavy jacket so awesome. Love that it has cuffs with thumb holes that fit my arms perfectly. As always Columbia products are top notch.

This jacket was a Christmas gift to myself. I was searching for a long jacket to keep me warm. I read the reviews and decided to get this. It has not disappointed. I live in NY and the winters are cold. This jacket keeps me so unbelievably warm against the elements. Sometimes, I can even get hot if I'm layered, but I'm not complaining. That's how I know this is a quality jacket. It is definitely the worth every penny!

This jacket is so lightweight but still keeps you so warm. The sleeves are on the longer size so I had to size down

Montana winters can be harsh, and in the past, my bum would suffer the consequences during dog walks on below-zero days. BUT NOT ANYMORE! Now that I have the Long Heavenly jacket, my bum is as cozy as the rest of my torso. I appreciate the extra sleeve length and the hand covers buried inside as well as the fuzzy hood and pocket interiors. The jacket is an excellent value for the price, and it lives up to the Columbia standards of excellence. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone who lives life outdoors, regardless of temperatures.
