It took me three tries to get the size that I needed to wear over a thick sweater or sweatshirt, but it fits great!! AND such a beautiful navy! Very lightweight which I love!!!

I love the look of the jacket. HOWEVER, the zipper drives me nuts !!! It's very hard to start the zipper. I already returned one coat and got the current one I wear. Just don't feel like returning for a 2nd time. As for warmth, it's OK. I get cold easily, so I really need a warmer coat than this for 30 degree weather. Lastly, the pockets are too small for putting my iphone in. That's a bummer. NOW, I love the feel of the hood; it has nice cozy fabric, and sits nicely on my head so I can still see in front of me. I'd never order this again, but it's an OK coat for 45 degrees and warmer (for me).

I loved this jacket, but had to return it because it was a little too snug in the hips. I love the omni-heat technology because it allows the jacket to be lightweight, but keeps you warm. The zipper was a little difficult like other reviewers mentioned, but I definitely could have lived with that if there had been a little more room in the hips. I almost exchanged it for a larger size, but opted for the Carson's Pass II jacket instead because it has the omni-heat technology and is also waterproof. We get a lot of rain/snow mixes in Indiana.

Zipper is tricky as previous reviews. Other than that good fit and style. Love knit fabric at wrists. Don’t understand jackets with open arms as you loose so much warmth there.

This coat is very comfortable! Warm but not too bulky. The only issue is the zipper sticks frequently.

This jacket is warmer than I expected. I was warm on a 30 degree windy day. The thumb holes keep the wrist band in place and allow it to cover the top of your hands to keep them toasty. It's super lightweight which I love. The 2 way zipper allows you to have the jacket zipped up for warmth, while you unzip the bottom a little for mobility (sitting in the car for ex.) I can't say enough about the fit! It's actually slimming! Shaped for a woman's curves so it tapers in at the waist and doesn't leave you looking barrel-shaped. I typically wear L-XL in tops so I ordered the XL and found it fits great with room for underneath layers. I'd say it fits true to size. I love it so much that I've purchased it in 4 colors. There is only one thing I dislike.....the tricky zipper. It has to be lined up just right to start the zipper. As mentioned in other reviews, the zipper can be a little aggravating. I hope there will be some improvement on the manufacturing in the future to make the zipper a little more user friendly. Overall, I'm in love with this jacket.

Perfect coat for winter. This fits perfect. It is not bulky but keeps you super warm and looks fashionable still. I would buy this again and recommend to anyone looking for a winter coat.

I chose the grey for the neutral color. It fits true to size. I love the thumb hole sleeves that make the fit on my arms more comfortable. The double zipper is a little bit of a bear, as many reviewers have noted. It has to be aligned perfectly to zip up. For daily use, I usually don't zip it so it's a minor detail.

This is seriously the best jacket I have ever bought!! I will definitely be looking into buying another one!!

Love this lightweight but warm jacket! Stylish and flattering due to angled stitching. Fits true to size, I'm 5'3"" and 128 pounds, small was more form fitting; chose medium for more room to layer underneath for exercise and sports events. Functional with special features that are great, such as lining, fabric over hands/ wrists, pockets and hood.

Its warm and the bottom zipper comes up so you sit with it on. I also like the color. The pockets are deep so my stuff doesnt come out and I think it is warm. I stay warm in the 10 to 20 degree range and I am a freeze baby.

Best decision to buy this jacket. Great quality and so warm and cozy! Love the length! Great for this PNW weather!

This is such a great jacket! Long enough to cover up and keep warm. The Omni heat is a plus. I can wear a short sleeve T-shirt and still be warm in this jacket! Fits well, and is very comfortable.

I'm 5.5 and 190 lbs and had hard time finding a coat that firs well and lies stylish and did the purpose of making me warm. This jacket does all the above. Good purchase will definitely recommend.

This is an awesome jacket, long enough for a dress to look right. Outstanding value, watm and stain resistant in the chalk, I got beet juice out with wiping it off lightly, washing and soaking. I bought another style for someone else and it also is very warm. Zipper may give you a little issue but it can be worked with.

I have a black one and now have ordered the plum one. This is an awesome jacket. They fit great, are lightweight and are warm for these Wisconsin winters. My daughter-in-laws both have them also. The length is great too. Love this jacket.

I have been wanting this coat, or one in similar length from Columbia for a while. I finally purchased this one and the Women's Mighty Lite, both in XL and both in Tradewinds Grey. The first thing I noticed was that this coat was a little bit heavier and had fur lining in the hood. However, why I kept this coat versus the Mighty Lite was the fit. Living in Wisconsin, I wear bulky sweatshirts in winter. I'm 5"4, 160 lbs, but broad shoulders. It was important to find as coat with enough room that I didn't have to take off when driving. This is the coat. If you don't have as broad of shoulders and want a more snug fit, go with the Mighty Lite, but I prefer the Heavenly Long due to the ability to layer if I chose to.

This is my favorite Columbia jacket. Really like everything about it, the color, the lenght, the zippered pockets, the hoddie, not bulky at all and the omni heat technology really works! I did order sizes S and M and I'm keeping the M, has more room for layers, just in case. For reference, I'm 5'5" and 137lb.

I am normally a medium in woman's tops but I sized up to a large to allow for sweaters and sweatshirts. The medium felt a little tight in the arms. My son places ice hockey and this cost is perfect for the cold rinks! Love that its not bulky- I can even drive in it.

When I got the coat I was surprised with how thin it was and didn't think it would be warm enough. I have been wearing it for almost a month and it has kept me warm! I love not having the big and bulky especially in the car and running errands. The temperatures have been in the teens and twenties and still kept me warm. If it were below zero I'm not sure it would. I ordered a small in the black cherry. I love the color and it fits good, I'm 5'6" 120lb. I have plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt or layers with it as well. I will be ordering another to have more than one color!

I'm 5'8' and it come to mid-thigh. It's warm and puffy not flattering. I ordered a medium and it's way too big. I'm a size 6 in pants and dresses. I'd say there medium fits US size 10-12? Which is really a large. Also the zipper does not move smoothly i foresee it breaking. I'm returning.

I live in Chicago and this coat is a great option when I don't want to wear my other winter coat which is for the negative temperatures. So far, Chicago has had a mild winter season and this coat has been perfect since the cold set in.

I ordered this to replace my old Columbia jacket after the zipper and few seams were ripped beyond repair. I had owned that jacket for 8 years, living in Chicago and being a wimp to cold weather, I wore that jacket A LOT. I decided why mess with a good thing and I ordered the Heavenly long, hooded jacket. So far I am just as happy with the new jacket as I was with my older one. We have had some bitterly cold days (single digits with wind) and my new jacket kept me nice and warm. I LOVE the thumbhole cuffs and didn't expect they would be as effective as they are. I also love the red color. I was pretty sure the red would be too much for me and I'd send it back, but the red tone isn't a fire engine red, it's a bit darker and easy to add my existing scarves/hats/gloves too. I just hope this jacket last's as long as my last one!
