I have been wanting this coat, or one in similar length from Columbia for a while. I finally purchased this one and the Women's Mighty Lite, both in XL and both in Tradewinds Grey. The first thing I noticed was that this coat was a little bit heavier and had fur lining in the hood. However, why I kept this coat versus the Mighty Lite was the fit. Living in Wisconsin, I wear bulky sweatshirts in winter. I'm 5"4, 160 lbs, but broad shoulders. It was important to find as coat with enough room that I didn't have to take off when driving. This is the coat. If you don't have as broad of shoulders and want a more snug fit, go with the Mighty Lite, but I prefer the Heavenly Long due to the ability to layer if I chose to.

This is my favorite Columbia jacket. Really like everything about it, the color, the lenght, the zippered pockets, the hoddie, not bulky at all and the omni heat technology really works! I did order sizes S and M and I'm keeping the M, has more room for layers, just in case. For reference, I'm 5'5" and 137lb.

I am normally a medium in woman's tops but I sized up to a large to allow for sweaters and sweatshirts. The medium felt a little tight in the arms. My son places ice hockey and this cost is perfect for the cold rinks! Love that its not bulky- I can even drive in it.

When I got the coat I was surprised with how thin it was and didn't think it would be warm enough. I have been wearing it for almost a month and it has kept me warm! I love not having the big and bulky especially in the car and running errands. The temperatures have been in the teens and twenties and still kept me warm. If it were below zero I'm not sure it would. I ordered a small in the black cherry. I love the color and it fits good, I'm 5'6" 120lb. I have plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt or layers with it as well. I will be ordering another to have more than one color!

I live in Chicago and this coat is a great option when I don't want to wear my other winter coat which is for the negative temperatures. So far, Chicago has had a mild winter season and this coat has been perfect since the cold set in.

Perfect coat for Michigan winters along the lake. Very warm. Fits perfectly. Length is long but not excessively so. Definitely recommend.

This coat is warm and light weight. I live in Iowa and it is warm enough for most of our winter when it is above 15 degrees. Fits nice and is slimming.

I actually have two of these jackets, one in red and one in black. I love the warmth and the fit. I am a little broad chested and really appreciate this jacket being large enough in the chest (xl). The warmth is perfect for my New England weather doing errands, and it's not too bulky for in and out of car. I also love that the hood does not have fur. Have used the hood and it serves well and stays put. Zipper also seems sturdy so far. I bought this in winter of 2019/20. Thanks, Columbia. I even got a small voucher for the second one!

Bought this for Wisconsin travel since I am normally in the southeast and didn't think what I had would suit. Worked great. Warm for the range while I was there (about 10-30 degrees). Think I could take it colder. Usually a medium in clothing but tend to buy large in coats. Followed that rule and this was perfect fit. Liked that it was slim-fitting and not overly puffy but still fit over both a sweater and a fleece pullover. The 4 in function was for lack of interior pockets and hood can't be rolled up and stowed. But those are minor relative to price/value.

This coat is stylish, comfortable and warm! I get so many compliments on it! I love how thin it is that I don't feel extra bulky while driving nor do I get too warm in the car. I live in the northern part of the Midwest where winters are brutally cold and this has kept me warm even when playing outside with my kids. I've washed it a lot (maybe a little bit too much) and it has held up well in the last year. I typically wear a medium but went with the large. The medium was too tight once I had a thin sweatshirt on. I just bought another color this year because I love it so much! I might have to get another one every year!

I am not one to like/wear jackets because I don't like the bulkiness while riding in a car. This jacket is so great for how light weight and not restricting that it is but still SUPER WARM!! This purchase was a second color because I loved the first one so much!

I bought this jacket to replace another Columbia jacket I had for over 10 years, and absolutely love it! The omni heat feature helps keep me warm during the cold Michigan winter days, and the length helps to shield more of my body from the cold, blustery winds. My other Columbia was an interchange jacket, a bit bulkier, and this one is much lighter which makes going out places more comfortable. The double zipper feature also allows me to unzip the bottom part of the jacket a bit so I can sit comfortably in my car and not worry about possibly ripping it. Definitely recommend!

I LOVE this jacket SO much!!! I was originally going to purchase in Basic Black but saw the Olive and went for it. I have gotten so many compliments on not only the color, but the style and fit as well! It is incredibly light weight and I now realize a coat doesn't have to be bulky to be warm! I have never owned a coat with omni heat lining and I needed to try to believe....but I am a TRUE believe now, I have even walked my pooch in single digit temps and stayed toasty warm! Also the built in cuffs with thumb holes are GENIUS and so comfortable! At 5' 2" sometimes these jackets are too long on me but the length on this one is perfect and having the back just a touch longer helps keep the warmth in as well! All in all I am thrilled with my purchase and would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect coat! I did go up a size to be safe fitting sweaters etc....underneath but the style of the coat is cut so attractively that still comes in just enough at the waist to be incredibly flattering. This jacket is everything the description stated it to be and I could not be happier with my purchase! :)

I had been wanting this coat and finally decided to purchase it and I have not been disappointed. I've received so many compliments. It's very true to size but very warm and lightweight. I love it! One of the best purchases I've made in terms of coats.

Love this jacket. Wanted one that covered by bum in the winter. It's light and not overly bulky but still keeps me very warm! I must have missed the hand/thumb hole feature when I initially purchased but it was a great surprise. I was nervous about the olive color not being olive based on the photos, but it is indeed olive green! Had to exchange my medium for a large to make room for my broad shoulders and wanting to wear a sweatshirt underneath but no worries! I am 5'7 about 150lbs and it hits just under mid-thigh on me. Love it!

Love the heavenly! I have a short and just bought this long. The Navy color is great, it is warm and very comfortable. Perfect length for daily wear, getting in and out of the car, running errands. I bought a size up so I could wear a layer underneath and this seems to work even if I choose to wear multiple layers! Great brand, can't go wrong. We are having a mild winter here so I can't judge this in a New England snowstorm!

I loooove my long Columbia coat! When it first arrived, it felt so light I thought it could not possibly be warm enough ... and then it was and is. I love it. I take long walks and this coat is just right! It does not weigh much but it is now the warmest coat in my closet. The pockets are right size. And the inner secret pocket is perfect for my phone as I listen to podcasts or music as I walk. And bonus, I get compliments on it. Friends and strangers have commented how much they like my coat. So then I have to tell them how warm AND LIGHT it is. I am super pleased with my purchase. I almost want to get another one right away in case they are discontinued for new styles or something.

Its a great jacket, very light weight, thin padding and very warm. The only l dont like is the hoody, i dont have a very big head but feel the hood doesnt cover me as much as i would like.it basically covers me until my forehead and thats it. I find my face gets wet.

This jacket is so stylish. I got the dark navy color, and it looks great with everything. With nothing but a shirt underneath, it's still warm, though slightly large. Wearing layers, it fits just right, and this is how I'll be wearing it. So warm and light. Heavenly is exactly how I'd describe it.

I am always cold so spending time on the soccer field, I need something that will keep me warm. So far, I have been very pleased. Wish I could have tried it on, I may have gotten the next size up to help with layers.

I ordered this jacket for a spring trip to Paris because I've had great experience with my mom's Columbia's omniheat coat. I've worn this several times already and not only does it keep me super warm, I love the portability since I can stuff it into a stuff sack in my carry-on for my trip. The only thing I have appreciated more than this jacket is the customer service I received at Columbia as I ordered several different jackets and they were wonderfully helpful with all of my questions and returns. I ended up keeping one of the other jackets for a future ski trip because I appreciate the brand so much.

Very light weighted warm jacket.

I really love this coat - I wanted something lightweight but warm, and longer to cover the longer sweaters and tops I wear frequently. I love the "Chalk" color which is an off-white, and the fuzzy lining of the hood makes it super soft. The Omni Heat thermal lining is silver and, while being functional, also looks glittery and gives it a little something-something when the coat is unzipped. I rated quality and function "good" versus "excellent" because the zipper is a smidge difficult - and I had to return the first one I received because the zipper didn't work at all. So they could probably focus on improving that. Otherwise, I am really happy with this purchase. I'm 5'3'' and 130 lbs and I got the Medium. The Small fit perfectly but I like a little extra room and the Medium gives that without being dramatically bigger.

This jacket has a nicely defined shape to it. Being tall and thin, I found the sleeve length to be very good. With Columbia's Omni Heat thermal lining you get warmth without weight or bulk; I am a huge fan of this brilliant invention and already own several jackets/hat and pants all with Omni Heat. All of my other requirements have also been met; i.e. generous pockets, water resistant fabric and a deep hood. Wonderful everyday kind of jacket!
