These are such cute shoes but the fit was really off for me. I have very average 7.5 feet so ordered a 7.5 shoe. One of the shoes felt like an 8 and the other felt like a 7 - although both had 7.5 written on the inside. The footbed felt strange - it should have been comfortable but it just wasn't. I can't figure out why. If the fit weren't off, I'd keep them and maybe the footbed would loosen up and conform to my foot contour a bit. But with the size issue, I have to return them.

This is an update to my earlier review of this boot. This boot has a strong odor of a tire shop...burning rubber... or just a strong tire smell. I have tried to reduce the smell, but nothing helps. I have put it outside to air out; out in the sun; out in the cold. Nothing helps and I am afraid I am being poisoned. I cannot leave it in my closet or anywhere inside the house. That said, my son had to bury his nose in the sole to smell it and then announced he loves the smell. Unfortunately, they are not his size. They are going back

These were true to fit, super comfortable, and well-made...but looked like ugly, old lady shoes. Made my ankles look fatter and just overall unflattering. Great if you don't care how they look (I guess I'm somewhat shoe shallow).

These are not for those with high arches or true wide feet. Wanted a cute pair or boots in a wide, these just missed the mark.

These boots make noise......crunchy, squeaky noisy sounds. Not sure if I can live with that. Otherwise comfortable and soft enough for my difficult and arthritic feet, but may rub on hammertoe. May have to return even though I need a pair of winter boots.

I measure a 7.5 XX (4E) wide, but wear many styles of Propet in X (2E) wide with no problems. This is generally because the style does not come in a 4E wide. My problem is - although the front of my foot is actually 4E wide, my heel is not. So the 2E, while being slightly tight in the front, fits well overall. ordered both a 4E and a 2E 7.5 in this shoe to try both. I found the 4E to fit well in the front but was sloppy in the rear along with seeming to be 1/2 size larger than needed. I kept the 7.5 2E, and sent the 4E back. I found the inside heel height to the height at the ball of the foot (the drop of the shoe) to be more angular than I like, but I think I can make it seem flatter inside by changing the insole. Seems to be a well made shoe, but wish they were more like the Propet Madi in design flatter overall with a pointier toe. Those were my favorites but are only offered in the black nylon material - and I wanted a black finished leather boot for dressier occasions so I bought this style. Good shoe, just not my favorite style and fit so I won't buy any more in different colors and will try other Propet styles to get me "boot" fix.

I really liked this shoe but for being a wide width it did not feel very comfortable. I guess I should have ordered a larger size. I will be returning them.

The boots fit well and seemed as if they would be comfortable. However, they squeaked quite loudly with every step. Couldn't be sure that would go away as they wore in. Also didn't like the look on my feet as well as some other styles.

The Blue Suede Delaney made my foot look so long and big. I believe it must be the color because I bought it in black and that color looks so nice and does not make my foot look big at all. Sadly, returning.

I love everything about this shoe except what appears to be a manufacturing defect on the inside of the boot. There is a bump at the end of the seam that hits my foot on the top inside. Finally found a good looking shoe that is wide enough, but that lump is too irritating. Have to return.

The shoe fit well with a roomy toe box and good arch support with lots of cushion. Not the most fashionable looking shoe, but my real problem was the very stiff and hard tongue which hit an uncomfortable spot on my ankle with every step. Maybe it would have softened up with wear but I like my shoes comfy it of the box so back it goes.

this shoe is great, fits good, but the color is just too RED. I was hoping for a more brown color.

The baby wasn’t navy blue, more like teal . It was too narrow for a wide.

it was cute but the navy was not really navy blue, it was kind of like teal. And the wide did not feel wide. Too bad for me because it was a decent price and cute.

The toe box was awkward looking and felt very stiff.

I wanted to love this Propet Delaney boot and use it in the cooler months. I ordered the Dusty Sage (which on my monitor looked more "dusty" meaning grayish rather than sage green. The color that I got was more like greenish bread mold than dust-colored. (I have nothing in my closet that goes with that.) The boot is not as sturdy as a hiking boot-sole on the thin side and so-so arch support. This boot was designed for very thick socks; there was a HUGE space above my foot, even when tightly laced. This is not a boot appropriate for me in Southern California. Sorry that it did not work for me. I ended up with the Propet TravelFit Bootie in Black Tweed.

I originally ordered this shoe in size 9-W in the bordo color. The color is a "grapey" red. The shoes had a very strong chemical smell, probably from the scotch guard treatment. I aired them out for about 4 weeks although the smell diminished, it was still noticeable. It has a side zipper and the laces allow you to tighten fit around your foot. But the laces are really too long. It is a true fit for me. There is enough room for heavier socks and enough "depth for custom orthotics without having to remove the insole. Ultimately, I could not get past the grape red color so I exchanged them for the black. The black pair feels bigger, perhaps by as much as a half size.

The shoes feel good but I'm afraid they are a bit flimsy. I have a narrow foot and have to tie the laces as tight as possible. The laces are thin and have to be doubled tied as there is too much left over after I pull them tight. I'm afraid the D-Rings will break in short time. I got the suede but would have preferred leather but the leather was sold out. Suede doesn't hold up if the ground is wet from melting snow. Also, the rounded toe isn't very fashionable. I'll keep them because they are comfortable and not expensive but I don't think they'll hold up well over a period of time.

Felt a little bit tighter than my EasySpirit double wide. Back of the ankle was perfect but front of the ankle was a bit uncomfortable. The leather here was stiff and dug into my skin. I'm hoping that a thick sock will alleviate the discomfort because I like the look of these boots. The toe box area felt more like a regular wide width than a double wide.

This were very pretty boots and wished they would have fit me better but I am hard to fit. They were pretty stiff too. They seemed to be a little short in length.

Love this boot! I ordered the Dusty Sage, expecting a silver, green tone and was shocked to see it in person - not at all what I was hoping for. The color is more of a light version of military green. Sorry - had to return! Must say that Zappos service is amazing! Arrived earlier than expected!!!

Love the look and a bit narrower than other Propets in same size. But, these were at least 1-2 sizes larger than the 9 1/2 ordered. At least 2-3 inches longer than foot! So, I am returning and ordering the 8 1/2 hoping it will be a fit. Crossing fingers will let you all know...

These are very cute and felt comfortable & true to size. However, I'm sending them back because the right boot is incredibly squeaky. The left one was fine, but the right shoe is so LOUD, I just wouldn't be able to wear it without being constantly embarrassed or annoyed. After taking them off, I noticed that the right boot squeaked just by being moved around, so it wasn't about the fit being slightly different than the left. It was almost like the two shoes were made of different materials. Weird. Maybe the ones in suede would be immune to squeaks?

I ordered these in size 11 in the widest width in 2 different colors. The width was just right (amazingly!) but the shoe was VERY LONG!!! Having rather ugly feet I have to compromise ALOT on my choice of footwear, however this truly just made my feet look like banana boats!! And the arch support was LESS than moderate, close to non-existent. Walking around the room after trying them on my feet already began to hurt. Really wanted to like these! Had to return them. :(
