These could have been it, the width was perfect. I wanted a pair to get easy in and out for walking the dogs. Unfortunately they are extremely heavy and stiff and the footbed is basically absent. Insoles can't be removed. I tried to wear them with my light insoles, which then made them too tight in the arch area. Sadly, they had to go back.

I normally wear a 7 1/2 EE. Boots can be a problem for me so I ordered these in an EEEE. They were very difficult to get on because even with the zipper all the way down the opening was not wide enough. Once on and zipped, the toe box and heel were big enough, but the area across the shoe where the zipper ended was still too tight. These had to go back and I am still looking for something to keep my feet dry this winter.

My criteria: round, wide toe box, very easy to get on & off, practicle in the snow, good tread for icy conditions. These boots meet those needs *but*....I wear a 9 1/2 W or WW in nearly all shoes. I have sized up to a 10 occasionally for something I wanted to wear with a heavy wool sock. I ended up in an 11EEEE in these boots. So many pairs of these got shipped back & forth that I ended up with the 11EEEE's in 2 colors. The brown ones fit great. The black ones pushed in on my big toe on the left foot only. If not for Zappo's fast & free shipping, I would not have boots.

LOVE them, but too wide and I step out of the back when walking .. they are soo warm .. while walking in the rain, because the show is so wide by the ankle,,, I kept feeling wet by my ankle .. I was kicking up water and it was entering the back of the shoe by the ankle, because it's so wide !! (even when the shoe is zippered ..) I want to keep this shoe anyway for shovelling and around the house, but definitely not the best for a long walk .. will keep feet warm though !

Loved these and would prefer an exchange! The seam near the zipper ripped open for about 1.5 inches. I see on Amazon that other people have had a similar seam issue.

Okay, the good stuff first. They were wide enough for my feet and my always swollen ankles. Very warm too. Stylish as well. Arrived very quickly. The negative? They feel like you're wearing cement blocks. The sole has no bend to it at all and they're heavy and clompy. Maybe a younger person could carry them off, but at 61 I felt like they were a definite tripping hazard, especially when you factor in slippery walkways. Sadly, I had to return them.

They are too wide.. when walking, the rain kicks up from the ground, and ends up in the back of the boot because the heel area is SO wide.. they are heavy and clunky, and not worth the money if you ask me.. which they did. haha

Very heavy boots. I walk and would have a hard time walking any distance in these boots. Boots seemed very well made. These feel more like construction boots.

I foolishly threw away the box .. when you take a step, your heel lifts up out of it .. which makes the ped socks drop down off your foot as you keep walking .. but worse yet, when it's raining and walking in them, each step lifts water up and dumps it into the back of the boot because of the width around the ankle. so you feel it and are getting your ankles and socks wet.. I'd love to get my money back, but wore them a few times and don't think I can now .. I even tried to add a pad to the back of the boot so heel wouldn't lift out of them, and it just didn't work. I"m so mad, they were $100.00 boots..

Ugh! Was looking for a winter boot for bad Chicago winters. a 10 wide is hard to find, ordered these in an 11 wide. super tight. And super ugly,clunky, stiff & very heavy. Propet makes some ugly footwear. I always have a problem if I order a Propet shoe. Which I won't be doing again.

Sigh, I am returning these cute boots because (as with so many wide sizes) the toe box was still a bit snug and the heel was way too wide. The poor star rating is entirely due to the fit of the wide size.

I have very wide feet, winter boots that are comfortable are hard to find for me. This brand has extra wide widths. They are comfortable and the material is thick and water proof. They are a bit bulky , but I do not mind. The fact that my feet are not restrained even if I am wearing thick socks is such a plus. Love this boots.

My greatest concern with buying shoes is the width. I purchased the X(2E) and even with thick socks, these gave me plenty of room for my wide feet. I am beyond thrilled.

Beautiful boot but with an achillies injur, this boot is way too heavy for my foot to pick up.

Fit and size are good and the boots are warm with a lot of traction

I need the zipper on both sides because of a high arch. I wish I could have kept they seem nice quality

They were a very heavy duty pair of shoes. Great for rain or in the snow, but not what I was looking for.

I usually order a 9D. Because of the other reviews I ordered the 9E and it fits GREAT. This is exactly what I was looking for. Easy on, to go out in the snowing, cold, icky northern Illinois weather with my dog.

These are lovely. The purple color is gorgeous, the warm fuzzy at the top, the easy on and off with a zipper. These are definitely made to be waterproof and keep your feet warm and dry. They are shorties so no deep snow trekking. I sadly have to return these as I was looking for something more suitable to rain and these are solid for snow. If I needed a snow shoe I would keep these 100%

Unsure about the comfort of this boot because I couldn't wear them. The instep wasn't sufficient to allow for zipping the boot on my left foot. However, they appeared to be well made and sturdy enough to endure any cold or wet weather.

Returned item, opening could not accommodate my ankle as I have lymphedema. Bootie well-made and sturdy. Just so sorry I could not keep the bootie. I will try again until I find a bootie to accommodate my disability.
