The boot is a snow boot design. The shoe is very stiff and the heel slips. I usually wear a WW so was hoping that the heel would not slip in the single W. Many people have a wide forefoot and an average heel size. Propet and other wide shoemakers should consider this when sizing.

These boots are adorable & the lining is cozy warm. There was plenty of room in the toe box - can easily wear thick socks The problem is the heel is too loose which means there isn't ankle stability - boot slides off & on with each step. My take is.. boots with zippers for ease & laces to provide stability are a better choice. These boots were returned.

Felt a half size big and heavy. Would probably be great if you needed a heavy winter boot

The boots were acceptable and I would have liked to keep them but they were way too loose and sloppy in the heel area. Would have led to blisters in no time. Had to return them. The ball of the foot was great -- I needed extra wide width and they had to fit my orthotics and they fit the bill in that way. I was so disappointed they didn't fit in the heel.

I could not get my foot into this boot. The bottom boot part goes up high for snow and the zipper stops at that point. The boot is very nice looking and I really liked the color.

The shoe is lovely. I could not get my foot inside. I have a high arch and this is often a problem. The zipper did not go down far enough for me to get my foot inside.

I am normally wear an 8 1/5 wide and have a high instep. I ordered the 9 2E based on reviews. Overall this boot runs small with my toes touch the end of the boot. Doesn't feel 2E, more like a regular W. Also, with my high instep this boot was nearly impossible to get on (also painful) and doesn't zip at all. Not really a lot of cushion either.

I have wide feet and these were nice and roomy across the ball of the foot. Room for nice thick socks too. No complaints there! Gorgeous burgundy color and super cute style, I was very excited to try them on! They seemed like they would be nice & warm, but I never got to try the outside. Apparently my feet are "tall" as well as wide - the transition area from the rubber to the suede made for an awkward rub across the top of my foot. I could envision this rubbing raw on a long day of snowshoeing, so I'll sadly be sending mine back.

Really cute, but way too short. Needed a full size longer, but I was already at 11 and no 12 available.

The shoe is HEAVY but well made and would be great for cold slushy weather. The shoe is wide so I order 9 1/2 instead of my usually size 10. It fit but as it really does not have any arch support, it would be too much with my orthotics and heavy sock ( though I probably would not need heavy sock - seems well insulated. Nice ankle book - just not for me. Will look around Zappos and maybe get the 10.

The fit and size are fine, good for snowy, cold Chicago. Boots are easy to get on and off with front zipper. The BIG drawback is the boots are so heavy, I feel like I’m carrying heavy weights around my ankles. I have hard to fit feet and had surgery which made wearing boots a challenge. Hoping I can find a different pair this season.

They fit OK but really "clunky" so I am returning.

this boot was nice looking and fit fine , comfortable but was very heavy at almost 1 1/2 lbs ls per shoe. i do have to return them for that reason

The boots are comfortable and good-looking. However, they weigh a ton. I ordered them for a trip I'm taking to a wintry climate but if I added these to my suitcase, I would hardly be able to carry it. So, regretfully, I had to return them.

I really wanted to like these. They are super warm and the fur trim is really soft. I also love the multicolored detail on the back of the ankle, which I had not noticed in the picture. BUT the soles are so stiff that I am honestly clomping around like Frankenstein. Even worse, they are tight in the toe box and loose in the heel to the point of severe slipping. So they go back.

I loved the way these looked on line but when I received them I was disappointed. They are heavy on my feet so not good for long periods of time. Also they look so big - like men's boots. The front/top of the shoe is very large - just looked funny on my feet! They did feel warm with a nice fur lining though.

I am coping with plantar fasciitis, a healing bone spur, a flattening arch on one foot, and a pulled perineal tendon on the other foot. I am now forced to wear 10 Wide shoes, I am supposed to wear either orthotics or supportive insoles available from retail, and my podiatrist told me there's no going back to mediums. This makes me sad because very few shoe shops or department stores provide wides for women in a variety of shoes. So, thank you for existing and listening to us outliers, Zappo's!! I'm looking for a snow boot that goes on quickly. These, in the berry, are cute, have a rugged outsole and go on fast. They're very warm. Unfortunately, they're too roomy for me without thick socks, they are very heavy, and there is no removable insole to allow for better supportive insoles. So the search continues...

Not what I was expecting. Definitely more of an outdoor looking shoe. And the instep was way too high to accommodate an orthotic. Returned.

So clunky looking in wide width. My hunch is that these run wide and I could have ordered them in a M width and been okay. Still too rugged for a run around ankle boot even in New England winter .Zipper was balky too. Liked the trim but that's about it. Zappos makes it easy to take a chance bur this one did not impress.

Overall too wide, especially in heel, so started coming up out of boot when walking. Only had on for a minute, just a few steps and knew these wouldn't work for me.

I bought these for my 67 year old mom who keeps slipping on the Minnesota ice and snow. The rubber on the bottom of these boots is really hard, which makes them extra slippery compared to other boots. It's too bad because they're really cute and seem like they'd be comfortable.

Did not feel right. Would not be able to wear for a moderate amount of time.

I couldn't get both boots on. My right foot is slightly wider than left. So, I'm not really able to give a good review.

Very cute look, and the front fit fine. But my heel slipped right up the back when I walked. Sadly have to return. I don't think a smaller size would work. There's not a tight enough closure around the ankle for a heavier boot. BUmmer
