Too much arch support for someone used to minimal shoes. They made my feet cramp up.

Orthotics fit in on top of existing insole (non-removable) with no difficulty. Unfortunately the seam between where the plastic bottom and suede upper meet at the toe side of the laces is right where my foot bends.

Toe box was not 2E. Warm and comfy but if my toes are crunched together, it's a no go.

I love the way these boots look so much that I put off buying boots at all until these came back in stock. I shoveled snow in sneakers last winter! Unfortunately, it feels like there's something pushing up from the sole of the boot, right under the ball of my foot, making them much too uncomfortable to wear. Back they go, and I'm so sad because I don't have a Plan B.

I wanted to get a boot that I could wear in the snow/wet. These at least had a bit of style, so I was excited about them. When I first put them on I thought they would be great. But then I noticed the insole. It is pre-molded and my foot was not happy. It felt as if there was a dip between the ball of my foot and my toes. And the arch was wrong for me, too.

I wanted to love these because I liked the style. But they were SO heavy I ended up having to return them. I'm sure heavy meant well made, but they made my feet and ankles ache.

Oh my goodness these are heavy! They're great quality, and I wish I could wear them. But they feel like they weigh about 10 pounds each!

I generally do very well with propet extra wide. These really hurt my outside 3 toes- felt like my toe nails were being ripped up. So maybe an even wider size? I have huge calves - 19 inches and sizable ankles and the fit was fine for that part of the boot.

I have extra wide feet and just had bunion surgery that corrected my worst foot to its original wide 4E width. I have trouble finding specific shoes in that width, even if I'm just shopping for utility, not style. To protect my feet, instead of buying shoes that are too long to get the width I need, I decided to buy a pair that fits. Because I live in New England, I need snow boots. Before snow season hit, I went through several sizes and returns to find a pair that fit. I was pleased when these fit well and felt good. However, the first time I put on these boots to wear them outside, one of the D Rings for the laces broke off. With the lace loose on that foot, the boot flopped on my foot when I walked. I'm afraid to tighten the laces in case the others break, too. I'm at the point where I wish I'd paid the warehouse shoe store price, which is about half of this price, for boots that were too long than to treat myself to full price boots that finally fit. If I hadn't needed to go out ASAP, I would've boxed them up and returned them, too.

The foot of the boot fit great, but they were too small around the calf.

This pair weighed a ton & was at least 1/2 size larger than the other pair in red, same size 7 1/2. They came in a totally different box than the same pair in red. (See picture)

Ordered my regular size and a wide width but found it too tight. I think it would be too uncomfortable so they are being returned.

Extremely uncomfortable around the arch of my ankle where the rubber foot and ankle portion of the boots meet, felt like my foot would be rubbed raw even with two pairs of heavy woolen socks. Returned.

The fit and size were good. All goodness stopped when I slipped my foot in. Where the tongue was attached to the boot inside, this was so rough it actually hurt my foot. It felt like the edges of asphalt shingles. I was astounded that this boot would actually be sold. Did no one try it on. It could have been a nice boot.

The base was so hard that I ended up having to go to the podiatrist. Loved the style; just couldn't wear them.

I liked to style of this boot even though it felt fairly chunky (not good for long walks) but the reason for the boot is to wear in snow, cold and wet so why in the hay would you not design it to be waterproof. It may work if the snow is only 2" but otherwise worthless. the inner gusset attached to the tongue only goes up to the ankle. The upper 2" - 3" of the boot is NOT waterproof. If I wanted ankle boots I would buy ankle boots...

I wear an 11 wide. ordered these in a EE and they fit like a medium width. there was no room to wear socks.
