I purchased these socks to wear in the cold weather.over the years I have purchased Smartwool products,all of which have been top quality.recently there are numerous predictions for a long,cold winter,thanks in part to our current administration,so best to stock up

I purchased these socks to wear this winter.i tried them on my feet and they are true to size.I own other Smartwool socks and have always been happy with the quality.

I use these in my hiking boots. First I put on a cotton calf high sock then the wool to wick out the moisture. Excellent socks! Have had some for 3 years and still going great. Best I have found! some of my back trips go 120 miles, over the high Unitas in Utah. 7 passes over 10,000 feet. Warm and comfortable

Wear with sneakers or boots. Very comfortable!

I use these socks for winter activities (off the ski slope). The extra thickness provides welcome, and needed, extra warmth. The fit and comfort are superlative. I will absolutely buy these socks again.

I got these for winter fly fishing. I live in northern pennsylvania so it's cold. Support, warmth and comfort are superior. Will recommend to all my buddies. You might look at the price and say not for a pair of socks. I've spent a career in construction and now I fish everyday. These socks are a tool that will make you more effective doing whatever you do in them

Great product. Even when wet (I filled my boot and had to wring out my sock), these kept my feet very comfortable hunting in 35*F weather in xtrattuf boots with no insulation.

I needed a couple pair of over-the calf socks to wear with my snake boots. I have used Smart Wool hiking socks for years and favor them over any other hiking socks I own. These over-the-calf socks are perfect for the job and are of the same high quality I have come to expect from Smart Wool. I also appreciate the fact that they are fabricated in the US.

I wear my MEN'S PHD HUNT HEAVY OVER-THE-CALF SOCKS daily while working construction outdoors. The socks are very warm and breathable. I have multiple pairs but wear them several days in a row without having to launder them. Great product.
