These socks fit so well that there is no bunching at the toes like I have experienced with other brands. I have also noticed at least one other brand of winter sport sock that is very slippery inside the running shoe so that one's foot is sliding around while running. I am so happy with smartwool running socks: they are the perfect winter running sock.

I wore these running. I struggle with Raynoud's Syndrome so it very important to keep my feet warm enough on a cold day for running. I would highly reccomend this product!

Perfect fit, even over a modest bunion. Not too loose or too tight -- really just excellent. Terrific quality. Warm and comfy, with no sweaty feet. Expensive but really worth it. Plus, really fun color blends. Do buy these.

These socks are the best! Running in Chicago during the winter can be a challenge, but these socks have met the challenge. I like that they are not bulky, but still nicely padded and amazingly warm. I've purchased a pair for my husband who suffers during our winter runs. I'm confident he'll be very happy with them.

I have gone running in these socks twice in below zero temperatures. They kept my feet warm and dry and are thin enough to fit comfortably in my running shoes. They are great!

These socks are surprisingly lightweight for winter weather socks. They have a good amount of cushion at the pressure points and "hug" my feet just right. I've been pleased with them in 30 degree weather. I haven't tested them on colder weather runs, but I have high hopes.

I'm a trail runner in Minnesota and these have been the best socks for our cold winters.

I wear these every day. They are comfortable and have eliminated foot odor.

Use for running and casual wear

I wear these under boots for everyday socks in winter on normal cold days. They are a nice normal thickness and warm/cushy, but not too warm to wear indoors. My every day "very cold days" socks are the Nordic Full Cushion Crew socks. I have challenging sized feet (one just bigger than an 8 and one just smaller than a 9) and I have bought these in a Small before - that is too tight (even on the smaller foot)! A medium is just right for my weird feet.

These were a gift for my daughter. She appears pleased.

Feel good. Still need to test them Out in really cold weather!

I love these socks, but was disappointed when, after wearing them twice, there was a little hole in the seam above my toes. I stitched it up and will continue to love the design and how comfortable the keep my feet.

Wear as my daily ride. Like the height, like the weight. Cushion in just the right places.

Wore these socks for a 5K run at 20 degrees. They were great during the run with just the right amount of cushioning. The 5K ended and I went right to a parade and fireworks show. By the end of the fireworks, my toes were starting to get numb, so be sure to switch to something warmer when your activity level goes down (or change out of vented running shoes at the least). Happy running!

Not worth the price

Sadly all of the socks I purchased as gifts I have been told are far too tight for comfort....even the larger sizes. For a family of 5 I purchased 7 pair and they ended up giving all of them to the 12 yo with small feet. These are obese people....normal size to skinny but they felt that all of the socks were too tight on their legs and were uncomfortable.
