These are my favorite socks and my go-to choice for wearing to work nearly year-round, and to run in cold weather. I've given these as gifts and the recipients agree. The pattern is nice and subtle (I like that the top of the sock is mainly solid and the pattern is just on the foot). I take my normal Smartwool size (large) and it fits perfectly. My only complaint: they are often out of stock, and the fun color (hot pink) was never restocked... would love to buy a few pink pairs.

Bought my first pair of wool socks for running in the winter (18-30 degree temps) and these are awesome! I'm hesitant buying wool products as they're always incredibly itchy, but these socks don't bother me AT ALL. I took the sock quiz to find my best fit and I'm super happy with these socks.

Smartwool socks are the best socks for comfort, durability and odor control. I will only buy this brand from now on. I once had an outfitter day there were other brands of wool products, but why waste your time and money?! Smartwool forever.

Best running sock yet! I call them "Dr. Sock" (get it.. "Ph.D"!). Running in cold weather is tricky because your feet are cold, but you are also sweating... these are perfect and keep your feet warm and dry. It's a miracle. ! Don't run without them.

Wear all the time. Kept my feet warm while ice skating and sledding.

They are wonderful! the extra protection on the soles of my feet make it easier and less painful the walk.

I am spending my first winter in Chicago training for a marathon (Boston) and needed a warmer sock for my daily outdoor runs. These socks were recommended by Fleet Feet and they do not disappoint. My toes are so much warmer and happier which makes running more fun! Even on wet and slushy days, when my feet get wet, the socks wick the moisture away and they don't feel wet which is a godsend on long runs. I was worried they would be too thick but they are just right.

Wow! These are top quality, WARM, beautiful socks that insulate the foot (and I have very cold feet, having a rare neuro condition!) well for walks and working outdoors. SmartWool has done such a beautiful job with this sock that I want to wear nothing else for life. Great job, folks. #sweepstakes

I love these socks. Quality is great. Keeps my feet warm during cold morning runs. I have Raynauds and these socks help with the numbness and tingling I get with that.

So far, I really like these socks! They are thicker in some areas to help keep your feet warm in the cold while running.

Great support & warmth for an athletic style sock.

These are the best socks I've ever worn - seriously!! I have horrible circulation in my feet, so they are constantly feeling cold, even though they sweat! With these socks, my feet don't get sweaty, and in turn, don't get cold and clammy! No sweating also means no feet smell!!! Finally my feet are comfortable!!!! I use these taller style in both my work boots and also when I go skiing, and they've been nothing short of great!!!!!!!
