I use these gloves almost daily after getting them for a Christmas present. I usually walk 3.5 - 4 miles a day in our community forests and in rain or snow or shine. These gloves have done the job well. When we had a cold spell that was about 20F with snow I used these as glove liners in my mid-weight SealSkins gloves and I was good to go. The only potential problem I can see is there is a "run" in the fabric at the bast of the right index finger. I hope it does not get longer or larger.

Arthritic hands the gentle pressure helps to manage the pain. The touch-sensitive index fingertip could stand to be a tad larger.

Great cold morning driving to work. Thin and warm. Should have gotten a size larger, bit small.

Used for a recent bowhinting trip. Great liners, not enough without outside gloves.

I would definitely measure your hands before buying the size is going to be important. I got a S when I probably should have gotten an XS now the thumb touchscreen pad doesn't sit right on my finger pad. But overall super happy with my gloves I where them all the time!! #sweepstakes

These gloves are perfect for running. Not too warm, not too cold for the beginning of chilly run days. But they do wear quite easily. I had hoped these would double as a liner glove for me but I don't want to ruin them so they are now exclusively for running. Added bonus, they are very light and fit into a pocket easily on those runs where you warm up after a bit. #SmartwoolLove

I bought these gloves primarily to use while working from home in what feels like an ice box. They are thin enough to type on a laptop keyboard without feeling bulky, yet provide enough warmth to prevent stiff fingers. I've also tried them out during my morning run and bike commute and they are incredible! I don't know how I ran without them before and am already considering another pair after 1 week. On the downside, the only thing that does worry me is their durability. The gloves are THIN, if they get snagged or experience minor abrasion, they're likely to tear. The other annoying thing is the rubber for touch screen usage. I constantly find myself haven't to twist the fabric so that it better aligns with my fingers and provide decent contact on my devices. Aside from this inconvenience, would recommend.

Lightweight and fit easily under other gloves or mittens for extra warmth - also great on their own for a walk. The touchscreen part doesn't really work for me, but I may need to give it more of a try and it was not the reason I wanted the liners.

Use this for running in windy temps from 40-20 deg F. Like lots of SW stuff, what you really get is improved temp range and insulation when sweaty.

These gloves are very thin and great for layering. I sometimes have trouble getting the touch screen thumb and forefinger to work on my phone.

So my wife loves these gloves. She uses them for runs and inserts for her ski gloves. The only complaint is that the texture on the finger tips is falling apart and fast. We really hope it does not ruin the integrity of the gloves.

These gloves are very thin (like a disposable rubber glove), but are also surprisingly warm. They keep my hands warmer than any of my running gloves made of slightly thicker poly material while maintaining breathability. In my experience, these are ideal for temperatures above freezing; on 20-30 degree mornings I had to keep my hands in my pockets on walks to prevent the tips of my fingers from getting cold. They seem like they would work well as a liner for another pair of gloves or mittens. My one gripe is that due to their thinness and flexibility, the fingers get a little twisted around and I have to straighten out the index finger to get the touchpad part lined up when I need to use my phone.

The touchpads on the fingertips sometimes rub awkwardly against a phone screen, so it can be hard to swipe around, but the weight of the gloves is great for either a liner in heavier gloves or a solo light glove on cool days.

I am using it as a liner for my glittens. I use them to take photographs in the field. I wish the glove came further down my wrist and had an elastic there.

These gloves were excellent quality but I was hoping for them to be just a bit thicker.

I use these gloves year round and they keep the chill out on mild days and base layer on cold days. They don't allow me to use my phone well and I have to remove the gloves.

Very very thin, and definitely too big for a woman with small hands... they might be fine if the weather is very mildly chilly or under thicker gloves, but the quality doesn't look amazing. #sweepstakes

This glove is used as a liner inside mittens when hiking in single or negative digits. The thumb and index finger are touchscreen compatible however, after only using for a month it has worn away/peeled off. I have purchased liner gloves for less than $10.00 that lasted a couple winters. Therefore, I am definitely disappointed in these gloves as I believe they were about $30.00 and not Smartwool quality. I would not recommend them.

Small too big - places to use tech equipment not good. Will keep and hopefully use as a liner for my mittens now that winter is here.

The thumb is positioned closer in to the hand, super weird. Had someone else try them on. Short between little finger base and thumb base. Plastic on finger tips to use a screen wore off after two wears and no screen interaction, so don't buy them for that. Can't say I recommend these, they feel so weird but the wool is nice.

I use this product when the temperature dips below 40 degrees. I love it because it keeps my hands warm even though the material is super thin, but I got a size small and they are still too big.

The gloves are very comfortable. The rubber section on the index finger and thumb are twisted and do not line up so I cannot use them to text.
