Light, warm and attractive.

I've used this on cool nights and added it as an additional layer when it gets really cold . It's very thin and warm but doesn't restrict your movements. The only downside is the length - I'm 5'9" and its just a little bit long under some of my other garments ,but not bad on it's own.

I use it as a middle layer for skiing. Provides just enough warmth, without restricting movement. Only thing I would change is the cut. For my body type needs to be a little wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. The cut made me choose between the ideal sizes at either of the garment. Chose the smaller size and it worked out OK. In general, this garment is produced large, so consider one size smaller than you normally wear.

Warm and light and good for layering. Only wish it was reversible and the zipper was the same as they are on the puffer jackets

Bought as a gift. My Dad loved it!

this is great gift my father! He really love it!

Love it only complaint would have loved an inside pocket and an outside top pocket.

The best is great and comfortable.

Super light, very warm and practical. sizes run large, so a size Large is like a XX. Having a more fitted sizing would be great if wearing a t-shirt or shirt.

Great vest. It's pretty light/thin, which I like, but something to keep in mind if you were looking for something warmer.

The size advisor was pretty good. It was dead on with my heavy weight son and was a bit under with my normal weight son. It's a bit early to know how the products will wear . They're down like in feel, compression, and weight. We'll see how they hold up. So far so good.

Very stylish. Great brand. I’m 6’1 / 185 lbs with some “baby fat”. Lean build. The description says slim fit. It was a regular fit LARGE to me. It had a stiff fit compared to Patagonia. .

The orange color is great, but NorthFace has completely changed their sizing. My old Thermoball fits perfectly, snug and short like I like. The newer one is a slim fit, causing it to ride up and sit high. Returning it.

I have one of the older thermoball vests and it can't be beat. They've changed the cut of it . . . the armholes are tight causing the shoulders to ride up. I will say the material is a little more robust so perhaps it's warmer. But the fit is off. Very disappointed I have to send this back.

Sizing seemed a little on the larger side for an XL. Make and material had looks and feel of a very good and tuff quality.

I washed this vest and when it dried it looks like the quilting squares are stained or discolored. My jacket is the medium blue and the quilting squares now have a dark/black edging on most of them as if the down fill stained the fabric. What to do? I love this vest, but don't want it to be two tone!

I feel I am regular size for my senior age. I have climbed all my life. For me the size range of the north face jackets is to restrictive. I find the large size to tight in the chest and the extra large to large overall in all your garments. I am large in Arcyeryx jackets and need to go to extra large in North Face products with result it is loose fitting. I would prefer if the cut of your jackets and vests was more regular in size and not so tight. I have recently purchased one of your thunderball down vests and find I am in between sizes. Disappointed.

I bought this for a future gift. I ended up returning it because it was a lot thinner than I thought it was going to be. Just didn't really think it was worth the price. I ended up replacing it with the Harway vest from The North Face which was more of what I was looking for.

I have the thermoball jacket, love it. Wanted a vest. Got this one and it is too short at the waist. Sweatshirt/hoodie underneath and they can be seen at the waist. Disappointing.

Has anybody had a problem with the zipper? Found out that after I brought to Korea to give as a gift to my broth-in-law, the zipper is for the women, feeding into from right side not from the left side that all men's does.... it ended my sister is wearing.

Product appeared as in picture. Came quickly. Was flimsy, felt cheap, not likely to keep you warm. Expected more from NF. I doubt anyone would pay full price.

I love these vests. I have noticed that the matte finishes are marred and affected by scruffy beards. The smooth and shiny finishes don't seem to be as affected. What is really disappointing is that I sent the vest in and TNF sent me a bill for $77 to repair the damage to the collar! This is ridiculous given that no one says you must be clean shaven to use this material.

I loved this vest, but I didn't love the second logo located on the back of it. It seems like overkill to have a logo located on the front and back of such a minimal garment. I felt like a walking advertisement so I returned it.
