Looking forward to gifting this vest at Christmas. This is a wonderful new look for young and mature alike.

The Thermoball vest is a great add to my outdoor wardrobe. I purchased the vest, in particular, for an elk hunting trip into northern Colorado. I wanted something light for my backpack when not being warn. This vest exceeded my expectations. When not in use, it weighed virtually nothing in my pack, but when needed (and it was often), it was very warm, yet still breathable. I wore it with just a long sleeve shirt and also as layered clothing under various jackets. It performed perfectly. Now it's my go to vest for all occasions. The deep pockets are a nice feature and the YKK zipper performs without a snag everytime.

Bought the jacket with hood for my husband. He no longer wears any other jacket in his closet. It is functional and sleek. When it is too warm for the jacket, he now reaches for his new Thermoball vest. Much more sleek than prior vests and a good value relative to competitive brands that offer less technology at higher prices. Can't recommend the Thermoball vest and jackets more highly.

I really like this vest because it's comfortable and I could wear with hoodies too.

Like the best but my size was unavailable online so I had to pay $40 more for my size at the store. Otherwise I'm happy.

Exactly the fill and finish I wanted, but in this style, I need the next size up. Only previous review said the fit was generous. I guess, I am too generous for the fit.

I usually wear size M but bought this vest in S and it is still a little wide around the waist. I would have preferred it to be a little slimmer but it's fine and I'm keeping it.

Love this vest - an improvement on the previous model. Unlike the previous version, which I also own, this one now includes a small internal zip pocket (e.g. for keys, metrocard, etc.). It also has drawstring bungies at the waist. I do wish the bungies were better and slimming the vest to achieve a more customizable fit, however. I'm one of those who's in between sizes. I'm 6'0", 173lbs -- size S (first time in my life i've been a size S) fits my waist and hips perfectly, but was too narrow on the arm openings and across the shoulders; size M fits across the shoulders and the arm openings are perfect, but the waste is slightly roomy and the drawstring bungies don't pull in a way that allows it to cinch down precisely to my fit. Not the item's fault per se, but a slightly more customizable fit would be great. Maybe for the next version (hint hint!).

I am outside ALL the time. I work outside and drive a jeep with no top and no doors. Granted I do live in Southern California, however, nights and early mornings in the jeep can get a bit chilly. Especially when rolling down the freeway. Have had great luck with this vest and a lightweight wool base layer. My only disappointment was the color. They say Cardinal Red. In my opinion it is more of a rust color.

I love the thermoball products, but the collars have been getting taller and taller every year. I look like Count Dracula in the 2017 models. I hope they shorten them down to approximately 2" again.

Great vest all around. I use it as a layer under a rain coat for wet days, and as a autumn outer layer on other days.

When I first received my vest I thought that it was very thin. However, it is comfortable and it truly does retain heat.

Great Vest comfortable and warm. Makes for a great travel companion under a lighter coat, shell and even stylish to wear under a sports coat or blazer. Just wish it had both an inner an outer chest pocket. Even better if it had two inner chest pockets and a hidden outer chest pocket on the zipper seam for quick access to items without having to unzip like wallets and phones like many TNF shells and parkas have.

Mainly for backpacking and hiking. Despite previous comments, I did not find it ran large. Ordered a medium, needed a large.

This fit slightly bigger than expected but works well with a heavy sweatshirt or 3/4 zip underneath it. Very versatile item. I plan to purchase more in other colors.

I am not an outdoorsman by any sort, so I wear TNF stuff to kick around in. This is a very cool vest, it's non-obtrusive yet does a good job of keeping you warm. For sure, if it's really cold out, you'll want to wear a bigger coat and possibly layer this vest underneath. Nonetheless, it's a cool piece.

Bought for my college age son. It is a little large, but better than too small. He loves it!
