This coat seems slightly large for size, but this offers good movement with hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing and even kayaking. I took this out for a winter kayaking trip with high winds and was surprised at how wind proof this coat was. It feels very thin, but even with 10 degree wind chills I have been very warm. With this coat feeling so thin it doesn't feel as durable as some of my other North Face coats, but so far my expectations have been exceeded.

so I put on the jacket thinking "wow this is light" and walked outside to my car. As I was walking I realized my legs were freezing but my torso was as warm as it was when I was in the House. Like I brought the Heat from the house with me inside my coat!!! This is the best present you have ever given me. AWESOME MOM!!!

Thin but once on heats you up. So warm you take off dont let the thinness fool you. Tired of a bulky heavy or big coat to keep warm well this is the one for you!

Lightweight and comfortable- but still very warm. A very versatile style.

Never imagined a lightweight coat could be so warm. Great job of staying warm in the cold Kansas wind. Sizing chart was perfect. Customer service spectacular as always. Highly recommend.

I must say I was skeptical about buying this as a winter jacket for my son but boy oh boy was I wrong. This is a great jacket. My son said that he is very warm in the jacket and the fit is purrrfect.

Bought this coat this winter for my husband and he is in love with it. It is so light weight and warm which was exactly what he was looking for. And he is a bigger guy at 6'1, 230...it is roomy and stylish and the xl is flattering and not too boxy. I can't wait to get one myself. Thanks NF

I bought a Thermoball jacket several months ago and liked it so much, I just bought another one! I live in Florida and although we do not have the subfreezing winters and snow that the northerners do, it does get quite cold at times. The jackets are very light and comfortable and hold in body heat to keep you warm. There is no bulkiness at all and it balls up neatly from the inside of a pocket. I am really enjoying my Thermoball jackets and have had many compliments on them. Thanks for a great product!

Amazing light weight jacket can be worn in all seasons. I have owned mine for 2 years and just bought one for my husband. We both love how light and flexible it is and keeps us warm in cold air but also perfect for when you just need a light jacket. Highly recommend and is worth the price!

I enjoyed the ThermoBall so much, I purchased one for everyone in the family during Christmas. The fact that it is light weight, but still very warm during cold days serves me well as a city commuter. Excellent technology in cold weather gear.

This coat is amazing, it is so light weight, but with serious warmth. It will not hold you back, it allows you to move freely, while keeping you warm but not overheated.

I purchased a jacket for my daughter for Christmas the I saw the orange one. The color along caught my attention. I then went i side to test the jacket with a tank top under it only in 24 degree temperatures. It did what I thought it couldn't based off the weight and the look of it. It did so well I posted it on my public and personal Facebook page, that's a total of 15,000 friends and what's even more cool some have already purchased them others are excited about the idea of having one. I just received my Thermoball jacket and I love it . For such a lightweat jacket it packs the punch for warmth . I'm considering another color now . Grea for riding a bike .

After reading the countless positive reviews, I decided to buy this jacket in preps for winter. No regrets. As basically everyone has said thus far, this jacket is super light, yet keeps you warm like a thick parka or down jacket. I just came back from grabbing the mail outside (currently 24 degrees) with just a t-shirt on underneath the jacket and couldn't have felt toastier. Cheers TNF, I'm a loyal fan now.

Love it ! So light, yet so warm. Feels silky and looks so good. Every where I go people stop me and ask where did you get that ? It's North face right ? I like the best??_ but i'm sorta cheap.. presto here comes the wife, thanks honey for the coat I just love it !!!
