I had my original Thermoball for nearly three years. It was a great jacket. Lightweight, great fit, nicely warm I found it perfect for temps b/w about 35 and 55F. I am 5'9" 160lbs and the small fit me perfectly. I mention craftsmanship as a con b/c the stitching for the thermoball squares failed, but I sent it back to NF warranty and they replaced. My mistake was that I chose the Thermoball stretch as a replacement as this is the new style. This jacket is inferior in many ways in my opinion. I'll put a review there for that jacket.

The great thing about this jacket is the technology used in the materials which you can only get with a North Face jacket.

Sorry for beating it to death, this jacket is absolutely the best I've ever owned for virtually any out door winter activity. That being said, I do also own a somewhat heavier North Face Jacket for use in more extreme winter temps. But, my Thermoball easily satisfies all other conditions.

I wore this to work a football game and it was great! Light and warm. It was a great buy and would buy again!!!

I bought this for my husband that wears an XL, and according to the right fit sizing chart it said that an XL would fight him. The jacket is great, however, it was too big for him and we had to get him a large. It was very loose.

Great coat. Wore it on a trip to Adak Alaska... It preformed great through Adak winds, Adak rain and Adak Earthquakes!

Super light jacket easily packable thats surprisingly really warm. Great travel, hiking, backpacking jacket.

wanted a jacket that is warm and would pack small for hiking/camping and this is it. Fit is pretty true to size.

Very warm on cold days yet breathes on warmer days that still call for a jacket. I wear the thermoball in all conditions (paired with a seam sealed shell when it's extremely rainy/snowy) in basically every adventure I get into and it has held up against abuse remarkably for over a year and a half now

This is my everyday jacket in Michigan winters. Keeps me warm and dry. The jacket has a nice look and feel to it.

This jacket is sensational

This jacket really met my expectations. The times that i have used it, it been been able to keep me warm without the bulk of a normal jacket. Not only that but it looks good when wearing it.Totally worth the money.

My son plays on 3 hockey teams and I always end up freezing my butt off in the rink 5-6 days a week watching him play. I literally said to him that I'm going to need to move to Florida soon to finally warm up enough to get my blood circulating again after this year's season. LOL Then, my birthday came, and I was given the North Face Thermoball jacket. I've never owned a North Face jacket before, and I thought, "There's no way that this thin little jacket will keep me warm!", but I was dead wrong. I have not been cold ONCE since - no lie!! In fact, I sometimes find that I need to take it off in the car on the drive home because I get so warm in it. What a great jacket that is also lightweight and easy to manage. Kudos to North Face - you have a new lifelong fan.

This is an awesome all around light weight jacket. Even when it's a little warm it keeps you cool!

I bought this as a gift for my husband and loves how easy it is to pack for his trips.

This is our second time choosing northface. The quality is unmatched. My boys run hot and the tech in these coats is perfect! This enough for travel and helps regulate their hot/cold. Even on the coldest days, my boys are warm!

Great fit, nice a light weight, can move around and drive in it easily.

This is my second Thermoball jacket from NF. The first jacket lasted for many years and got to a point where my wife said "it is time for a new jacket" so I had the green light! I literally wear it every day in the Maine winter. It is a great for blocking the wind and keeps me very warm on the coldest days. It is great to layer a vest or just wear it with a shirt. I never get too hot and it keeps me warm during the winter. Wears great even after numerous washings.

My third thermoball jacket. Great fit, weight and utility keep me coming back. Never fail to get compliments.
