My boyfriend got this for himself as his first real winter coat and he LOVES it!! It looks great on him and the fit is excellent, he got a size LG and he's 6'2. It does not have a hood but is a great jacket for cooler days walking around the city and he's also planning to use it when we go camping too since Marmot is a well known/durable outdoor brand! Perfect coat!

True to size. This is a thick jacket made for cold temps (below freezing).

I love this jacket but it has two oddities to mention. In the pics the Nori color appears to be brownish green but it’s actually 100% green, closer to a forest green. Second, the medium was a little big so I exchanged it for a small which I’ve never done before. I’m 5’11” 165lbs. The medium would’ve worked if I were wearing thicker layers underneath but that’s not the plan. I got this to be an everyday coat to throw on over a tshirt and have it be warm enough, and the small works for that and probably will be warm enough over a tshirt into the low 30 degrees if the sun is out.

Excellent fit. Warm for low temperature. And thin enough to wear another coat over when under freezing temperatures.

I recently got this jacket to take some wear off my regular winter go to jacket from Patagonia, the Down Sweater, and for a bit more style. It absolutely hits on both measures! From a warmth perspective it's nearly as warm but just a tad less insulation (600 fill vs 800 fill) however it seems to block wind a bit better which offsets that somewhat. From a style perspective I think it looks nicer in those cold winter months when we're all bundled up. I absolutely love as well the fleece lining on the pockets, that is a big improvement over many other similar coats.

OMG my 4 adult sons just LOVED their new coats! This coat is much better than it even looks online. Soft but warm, lightweight and very "in" styling. Lots of features. And subtle "Marmot" logo on front that adds class without being lofty. Can't say enough about this jacket. You won't be disappointed!

My Burdell jacket is a recent purchase for me. I bought it to layer with my GORE-TEX rain jacket but found it not to compress as much as I'd like. What it lacks in compressibility it gains in durability. The materials it's made out of are top notch and I feel this jacket will last for many years to come. The sizing is true with a bit of a slim fit.

Really nice jacket. Light enough to wear with temps in the 50s and warm enough to keep you comfortable in the 30s with little wind for while when fully zipped. Looks great. Very comfortable. Not great in the rain but love the matte, brushed, finish. Most quilted down jackets have a shiny finish.

Very lightweight, yet very warm. I bought a large, but a medium would have fit perfectly for me. Looks great - I think it's more of a casual jacket than an outdoor item. The outer pockets look nice, but are too small for a phone or wallet. To me, that's the only real negative - there's literally no secure/zipped storage. Still, well worth it, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Fits great and look classy. I'm 6' 3" and 218 and the size large fits me like a glove. I bought the black and OD green.

I love the cut of Marmot jackets! I am between a small and medium, but usually sleeve length doesn't work out when I size down to a small. I sized down on this one based on my last Marmot jacket purchase that fit like a glove. I was right again! Sleeves are just right, and the jacket looks great.

I love this coat. Very comfortable, slim fitting. Warm for as thin as the material is, probably due to quilting

Going into another winter with this jacket and I just love it. Must have bought it 3 or 4 years ago and it has held up beautifully. Surprisingly warm. Light but feels like great quality. Breaths fairy well. The black color has held its color pretty well. With proper layering I am comfortable in this jacket down to probably 20F. Iv run it through the wash a few times, and tumble it on air dry a few times a year to keep the down lofted. Has held up fantastic. I regularly think about how this is one of the best purchases Iv made in the last few years.

It fits well and looks good. Keeps me warm, usually with just a shirt or long sleeve shirt underneath. Great for winter

I love the look, feel, and fit of this jacket! It's not a super-warm winter jacket, but it's great for around freezing temperatures. I use it as my work/city jacket. And the small fits me perfectly (5'10", 155 lbs, thin athletic build). One thing - I wish Marmot made this exact same jacket with a hood option! I don't always want a hood, but it helps when the temperature drops.

I love this jacket, it is warm and fits great! I love the styling of it. I have had mine for a couple years now w/o any issues. With just a t-shirt on I have had it down to the 20's no problems, and with a Flannel and a Beanie down to the single digits. This is my go-to for cold weather and camping. I am not a tall dude, but broad in the shoulders so I opted for the Large over the Medium and it has made all the difference.
